The box has all the information about the product you need; the story behind its creation, how it works, the main features, company info and what you get in the box.

Cutting the hygiene assurance sticker allows you to slide the inner part of the box out, where the Womanizer Pro40 is held inside a moulded plastic insert. Behind this you find the instruction leaflet, and the USB charging lead.

Storage Options

Recently I’ve noticed that some of the Lovehoney sex toys I’ve been testing & reviewing don’t arrive with their own storage pouch –and the Womanizer Pro40 falls into this group. It’s not a problem however, and I don’t feel that the lack of a storage pouch with a sex toy should be necessarily seen as a negative factor. I rarely if ever used the drawstring pouches which used to be included with sex toys as standard, opting instead to keep my sex toys in my bedside drawer just loose, or else storing them in larger boxes with or without compartments.

Including a storage pouch with every sex toy sold would likely push up the end price for customers, and for no real reason if they don’t even end up using the included bag. Lovehoney offer several sex toy solutions on their website at great prices –otherwise I am sure you can make your own affordable arrangements using storage boxes and cosmetic-style zip cases available elsewhere online or in stores.

First Impressions & Measurements

Storage options aside, I was immediately impressed by the look of the Womanizer x Lovehoney Pro40 Rechargeable Clitoral Stimulator. The majority of the housing is extremely on-trend rose gold colour, teamed with black rear and side cutaways to match the black silicone clitoral nozzle. The curved shape and light weight make the Pro40 feel extremely comfortable to hold in my hand.

The control panel is white and charcoal, with the buttons easy to figure out, plus raised so they can easily be located no matter what.

At the top of the Pro40 there’s a liftable ‘plug’ of silicone which reveals the charging port.

The Womanizer x Lovehoney Pro40 Rechargeable Clitoral Stimulator measures 6.25 inches in overall length, with a width across the widest part of the front of 2 inches. The hole of the clitoral nozzle is 0.6 inches in diameter. These are all my own measurements.

Charging Up

Charging up the Womanizer x Lovehoney Pro40 Rechargeable Clitoral Stimulator is simple and hassle-free. Just plug one end of the included USB charging lead into any USB port, and the other end goes into the port beneath that silicone plug portion at the top of the toy.

I like to charge my sex toys up via my desktop PC in my office, or else using my multi USB mains adaptor plug (widely available from electrical outlets) by the bed.

While charging, a green LED slowly blinks from within the clitoral stimulating nozzle.

During Use

The stimulation that Womanizer sex toys provide is so extreme, so intense, and so immediately effective, that it’s a little bit scary –even for a sex toy veteran like myself. My favourite type of stimulation – the kind which is most effective for me – is clitoral, and Womanizer just nails it. Almost instantly. Every time.

Because I’m kinky, my mind also explored the forced orgasms possibilities for this toy. Because that’s exactly how it feels to me. Because the product delivers stimulation by means of undulating air currents within the seal between toy nozzle and clitoris, detaching the nozzle from my body lessens that stimulation or can suddenly cut it entirely. I find it extremely difficult to maintain that seal –trying to lie still, keep my hand still, keep the toy in contact with my body properly- while in the throes of an excessively powerful orgasm.

Perhaps strangely, I find it easier to hold in place while orgasming if I’m standing, rather than if I’m lying down. Also, you’d think a solution would be for a partner to hold the toy instead – but while I’m thrashing about in orgasm? He has no chance.

And the orgasms are extremely powerful – I’m an expert at orgasming quietly but this thing has me worrying about screaming the house down regardless.

That said, I remain in absolute awe of the Womanizer Pro40 and its ability to turn me into a shrieking and involuntarily orgasming quivering mess. Summary

I haven’t used any other sex toy which has made me genuinely fearful about the noise I’m going to make. It’s lucky I have a variety of bondage gags about the place, to be honest.

The 6 intensity levels give me a little more control about my journey to climax, but even the lowest level is still intoxicatingly seductive.
