Bondara Velvet Touch Rotating Tongue Silicone Rabbit Review
By Pleasure Panel reviewer ATPikachu
I was so excited to try the Bondara Velvet Touch Rotating Tongue Silicone Rabbit. On paper it was perfect, who wouldn’t want a rabbit with a rotating tongue like thingamabob for a clitoral stimulator, am I right?
Packaging
So, it arrived. Packaging was BASIC. Black box, standard Bondara font. I have a bit of a thing about toys coming just in the box with no plastic wrapping around them so that was a slight bummer but hey everything was there that needed to be there… except any kind of product information. Not even a little leaflet with some instructions as to what the 3 buttons are on the rabbit, whether it’s waterproof at all or, if it is, to what degree… Nothing, nada. At least it came with the charging lead and some charge, I guess. Luckily, I love a challenge!
Operation & Settings
Things I discovered upon first use… you have one button to turn the Bondara Velvet Touch Rotating Tongue Silicone Rabbit on and off, one button for vibration settings – of which there are 7 and one for rotation settings – of which there are 4! Lots of combos, lots of variation. Things I discovered from the internet – it is waterproof! Hooray!
Measurements
Right, let’s talk internal. The insertable length of the Bondara Velvet Touch Rotating Tongue Silicone Rabbit is about 5 inches, total length is 8 inches so a reasonable depth. The 7 vibration patterns range from solid vibration (at 3 different levels) and then 4 additional pulsing programmes and I have to say they really are quite different from each other so if you do decide to give it a go yourself do take the time and give each different one a try!
During Use
The reason I was so excited to try the Bondara Velvet Touch Rotating Tongue Silicone Rabbit was the rotating clitoral stimulator, if I’m honest. It’s not something I’ve tried before and the concept as far as I could tell was a solid one.
Sadly, for me, it was a bit of a let down but let me tell you a couple of reasons why it didn’t work for me.
Flexi Shaft
Firstly -and I noticed this as soon as I inspected it out of the box- the shaft that holds the rotator is very flexible. This, for me, not matter how much lube I used (or did not use – I tried all the amounts and types that were safe for use with silicone) resulted in the rotator moving away from the clit a lot and just kind of moving around of it’s own accord and not really stimulating very much at all.
Bummer for me, but it could just be a case of anatomy but personally, I’d like to see an updated version with a less flexible rotator shaft.
Noise
Secondly (and this may not be an issue for some) the Bondara Velvet Touch Rotating Tongue Silicone Rabbit seemed to be*really* noisy and that really put me off. It makes a very odd noise, not a vibration – obviously, but a very mechanical high pitched drone. Sadly, not something I can think of a fix for because I am not a sex toy designer – although, maybe I should branch out?
Summary
Okay, so, all in all – bonuses of the Bondara Velvet Touch Rotating Tongue Silicone Rabbit are good vibration patterns and waterproof but there are other rabbits and vibrators out there with these qualities. Bad points – sadly, the rotator although unique and a brilliant concept on paper, it just didn’t do it for me at all. It was more of a distraction than anything else.
4/10
