The We-Vibe Wish is a clitoral vibrator that’s had a bunch of mixed reviews. I have been a huge fan of this brand and their previous clitoral vibrators, the Tango and Touch, from the first time I tried them so I had high hopes that I’d experience the same feelings for the Wish. I was really grateful to receive the We-Vibe Wish Pebble Vibrator to review for Cara Sutra, and after multiple testing sessions I’ve finally reached a conclusion as to how I feel about it.

Packaging
Impressive from the outset, We-Vibe use sleek, simple packaging to present their products. It’s classy and non-intimidating with its white and blue colour scheme with a glossy product shot on the front and written key features on the back. Inside the box I found the We-Vibe Wish Pebble Vibrator in some foam casing with the charging cable, instruction manual and plain satin storage pouch hidden underneath.
Charging Up
Arriving with no charge, I set the We-Vibe Wish Pebble Vibrator up for its initial session instantly. The charging cable has a USB connector at one end that goes into a suitable port such as a laptop and a magnetic cap at the other end which attaches to the corresponding metallic prongs on the vibrator. There is a light on the control panel that flashes whilst charging and goes steady once complete. This is said to take around ninety minutes for a full revamp and offer up to two hours of use depending on the settings used.
Size & Weight
I was expecting a lightweight pebble that was only a little wider than the We Vibe Touch but otherwise not hugely different in terms of dimensions. I was surprised when reality struck and I set my sights on the We-Vibe Wish Pebble Vibrator for the first time in person as it is actually around twice the width. It only just fits in the palm of my hand making it nice and snug and easy to control/use and hold. It has some weight to it which I hadn’t anticipated but I actually rather like this as I find it easier to grip onto something heavier in the heat of the moment as lightweight things tend to fall out of my reach.
Material & Care
As is the case with other We-Vibe sex toys, the We-Vibe Wish Pebble Vibrator is made from body-safe silicone. It feels distinctively different to the material used on the Touch and Rave. It is not as rough which means the drag and friction is reduced and less water based lubricant is needed. It’s gorgeously soft, supple and luxurious and has some squish to it around the tip and edges. It is waterproof so can be rinsed before use to remove any lint traces and cleaned afterwards with warm soapy water. I can find absolutely nothing to fault in terms of material and build quality.
Controls & We Connect App
Controlling the We-Vibe Wish Pebble Vibrator could not be easier as there is only one button to work with. One tap will turn the vibrations on, each further tap will cycle through the ten preset modes and a quick press and hold will turn off. You can also choose to operate the Wish through We-Vibe’s app. Download We Connect from the Apple or Android Store, open it up and follow the on-screen pairing instructions. If followed correctly then the device should find your phone/tablet and pair with it. You can then control the settings yourself, make your own functions or invite a partner to take over.
Settings
Before I get into the ins and outs of the app, I have to express my confusion and frustration at the lack of a constant vibration mode on this vibrator. I do not understand why We-Vibe decided not to add a constant speed to the Wish’s plethora of settings. It’s known to be the most popular type of function amongst a high percentage of vibrator users so it makes no sense to me not to include at least one. I know that I personally avoid most other settings and head for steady speeds on 95% of my vibrator collection so I was at a bit of a loss when it came time to test out the We-Vibe Wish Pebble Vibrator. All ten settings are patterned and as these are settings I tend to avoid I thought I’d ended up with something unusable.
That was until I discovered the PowerPulse settings, the first three modes on the We-Vibe Wish Pebble Vibrator. It is hard to describe this technology but it’s not as far from being a constant speed as all of the other functions are. It’s sort of similar, but not quite as the changes in frequency can be felt. The We-Vibe Wish Pebble Vibrator has two motors underneath that soft silicone surface that work together to compliment each other. One motor provides a short, rapid wave that is followed by a more refined, longer wave from the second motor. It’s not an off-putting stop and start type of function as the two motors mesh together perfectly so I actually found myself enjoying the sensations that they provided.
Create Your Own Setting
I later discovered that I could in fact create my own constant setting via the app. There is a feature on the home screen titled ‘create my own vibe’ and this works by selecting the setting you wish to incorporate into your design or pressing draw vibe to draw your own.
If drawing, pull the pink button located in the left corner up to the number of intensity that works for you and then slide across the screen in a straight line. I wacked up the intensity to ten as I’m a power queen and very much enjoyed my own creation.
It would have been easier as a preset but I did enjoy making it myself. If you think the shape and dual motors of the We-Vibe Wish Pebble Vibrator would work for you but you are in need of that constant mode, creating your own function could be the perfect solution to that problem.
During Use
Whilst I opt for direct clitoral vibration more often than not, I’m not opposed to broad stimulation. I can find it equally as pleasurable if the vibrations are rumbly enough, which the Wish’s are, but it may take some extra time. For example, I get off in roughly two minutes with the We Vibe Tango on high, four minutes with the Touch on high and about six minutes with the Wish when using the high PowerPulse mode or my own steady creation. This isn’t much longer than usual so I’m not left bored, frustrated or watching the clock. I can relax and take in the sensations to reach a satisfactory climax.
I’ve had some wonderful orgasms with the We-Vibe Wish Pebble Vibrator over the past few weeks although I still prefer the Tango and Touch. I think the pebble shape works well with my anatomy, covering my entire labia and clitoral area for maximum contact and widespread sensation. I can see why there are mixed reviews for this vibrator as patterns are definitely not for everyone but if this shape is known to work for you then I would recommend giving it a go with the workaround I mentioned. If you like toys such as the Lovehoney Desire Luxury Rechargeable Clitoral Vibrator or the Je Joue Mimi Soft then I think the rumbly motor of the Wish could be a real treat for you.
In Conclusion
Overall, I would be happy to recommend the We-Vibe Wish Pebble Vibrator to people who enjoy patterns, people who crave or prefer broad stimulation and people who want to explore using an app controlled sex toy with a partner. It has some great things going for it such as its soft silicone exterior, gorgeous blue colouring, easy to use control panel and its double rumbly motors.
The only downsides for me are the lack of constant speed and the noise. I did notice that it was louder than We-Vibe’s other clitoral vibes but this was to be expected because of the extra motor. Unfortunately this means I can’t use it when others are on the same floor of the house as me as the whirling of the motors can be heard even through a closed-door. If discretion is a priority for you, I would opt for the Touch instead.
