Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on Review

My hubby and I have been enjoying strap-on play for a while but we have always used a standard dildo with a compatible harness during these sessions. When the opportunity arose to try out the Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on, I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to add some additional fun to our pegging sessions.
The Fun Factory packaging consists of a stylish maroon and cream coloured outer sleeve which features an image of a female couple and the product name on the front and a picture of the product on the back. The inner box is gold in colour with the Fun Factory logo; no product name, description nor images feature on the inner box so it could be used for storage if needed as unfortunately no storage bag is included with the product.
Inside the box is a user manual which covers the full Fun Factory range, this includes the Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on. When I say user manual, its more a game of Pictionary than an instruction manual. Very little information is provided in written form. Instead, various drawings of body parts with the product in its position and a picture of the product in a bowl of liquid are there to guide you in the use of the Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on and other products in the range.
It does state that the product is made from Silicone and pictures indicate that you should use toy fluid and toy cleaner with the toy but offers no advice on what type of toy fluid or whether other methods of cleaning can be used. I have a few Silicone toys in my collection now, so luckily I know that they must be used with water-based lubricant to avoid damaging the silicone. They can be cleaned using boiling water, toy cleaner or even put in the dishwasher (minus detergent) that said, this information could have been better provided in the user manual.
I turned to the Bondara website to see if they had any further information about the product, here it was confirmed that the Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on is manufactured from body-safe Silicone and is 100% waterproof. The overall length of this product is 14 inches with a maximum insertable length of 6 inches on the longest shaft and a maximum circumference of 4.5 inches on the shorter shaft. These measurements may appear a little confusing but as the product images show, the Fun Factory Share Strapless Strap-on is double ended and features a separating curved area to assist with the wearing of the product and is designed to be worn by both partners at the same time during use. In our case, the shorter, more bulbous end would be inserted into my vagina and the longer, more pointy end used to penetrate my hubby anally.
What neither the box nor the website tell you is that the Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on is heavy, and I mean really heavy, like I have absolutely no idea if my internal muscles are going to be strong enough to hold this product in place whilst in use, kind of heavy. Why, oh why, didn’t I listen to the midwives advice regarding kegel exercises after birthing my children!
Before I introduced the Share to my hubby I decided to explore toy on my own first to get a feel for how to use it. Usually during a pegging session, I have no physical stimulation from the toy or the harness, this ensures that my focus is purely on delivering pleasure to my hubby, with the Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on I hope to add to my own pleasure as well as his during our sessions.
Wanting to ‘prepare’ myself for the insertion of the shorter, girthy end, I began by covering the longer narrower, pointy shaft with a thin coating of of water-based lube, I gently inserted it, the tip and head slipped in easily and the ridges along the slightly flattened underside were noticeable as they glided along my inner walls. The shorter, stubby end provided me with an unexpected ‘handle’ which allowed me to thrust the longer end at my own pace. By adjusting the angle of penetration, I was able to stimulate my g-spot, already the Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on is gaining brownie points.
Once I’d recovered I swapped ends and positioned the shorter shaft, I did not use additional lubricant on the toy at this point, I was already relaxed and I was nervous that the heavy product may be difficult to hold in place if things were too slippery. The toy did take a few attempts and some gentle coaxing to get it into place, once fully inserted I was surprised at how full I felt. Because this end is quite short and fat – it reminds me of a butt plug, it sits just inside the vaginal opening, providing me with a constant stretched sensation, very enjoyable in a sitting position but once again I am nervous about how I will be able to hold it in place when I try to move with it in place.
The Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on has a slightly curved section between the stubby end and the pointy end, this curve rests nicely against my vulva. Its a shame that it is smooth – a few ridges or knobbly bits would provide some additional stimulation on the clitoris when in use, perhaps Fun Factory could consider this for future editions of this product?
Tentatively, I stood up keeping my thighs pressed together, immediately my inner walls tightened to grip the inserted section of the toy, glancing down I was rewarded with the sight of a beautiful purple cock protruding from between my legs, I have to admit, it looked and felt amazing. I felt like a super hero, I could not wait to strut around the house with my new purple cock dancing proudly with the sway of my hips. A few nights later (after another cheeky practice or two) I surprised my hubby by walking into the lounge wearing nothing but my newly dyed purple hair, super hero heels and my Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on.
After a brief introduction, hubby was keen to get in on the fun and we began with a doggy style position, this enabled me to keep my legs firmly together, holding the Share in place as I slowly guided the other end into my hubby. When the Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on was inside both of us it did feel slightly more secure but I was still wary of opening my legs too far. Thrusting the toy was simply a matter of moving my hips back and forth and in no time we were so caught up in the moment we had stopped worrying about the toy slipping out. Whilst I wasn’t able to reach orgasm on this occasion, I was thrilled to have been able to feel the movements of the Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on inside me as I used it to penetrate him, our pegging sessions are usually very one sided physical pleasure wise.
We also tried the Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on in the missionary position, I struggled to get the angle right with this position and my end kept popping out as I moved my hips. Once our giggles subsided, we found grinding movements rather than thrusts worked better for us in this position but more practice is definitely required.
Undeterred by our lack of success with the missionary position, we re-adjusted our bodies and tried again. This time we were both sitting face to face with my legs behind his back and his behind mine, this ensured that the Share could not slip out of me as I was effectively sitting on it, with our arms wrapped round each other we benefited from the close face to face contact and slowly wiggled and rocked our way to mutual orgasm. As mentioned earlier, a groove or pattern to provide that extra stimulation on the clit would have been the icing on the cake, but even without we both very much enjoyed the experience.
Whilst we have more girthy toys in our toy box which we have used with a strap-on harness, hubby was more than satisfied with the dimensions of the Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on, the head and ridge from the glans is not overly large so opens the rectum gently and the length is not too much to bare during more forceful thrusts. He did find the Silicone dragged a little though so extra lube to be used next time.
I really wanted to love this toy but the weight of it is just a little too much for my poor, over worked muscles and this restricts the amount of positions we can use it in, meaning our strap-on harness and dildos will still have their place in our toy box. That said, the Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on is still a great toy to have in our collection and as a woman who loves a challenge, I shall be persevering with my kegel exercises so that we can use this toy in a full range of positions.
Hubby and I would recommend this product to other couples and would rate it 9/10; it’s not the toys fault that I failed to keep up my pelvic floor exercises after all.
Retailing at £47.99 the Fun Factory Share Silicone Strapless Strap-on is comparable to others available on the market and is a great deal, especially considering it comes with the reassurance that its made from a body safe, non porous, Phthalates free material.
