My first reaction was “holy shit, £169.99!” I’ve tested expensive toys in the past, but this is way beyond my personal purchasing power at the moment and the price tag was a little eye watering.
The packaging certainly looks expensive. A double flapped, magnetically sealed box houses the Womanizer Premium Smart Silence White Clitoral Stimulator, USB charging cable, a spare silicone head, user guide and storage pouch. I rarely keep packaging and the box is quite large so I appreciate the addition of the pouch for future storage.
The Womanizer Smart Silence Toy is coated in soft, matte white silicone. This is very luxurious to the touch and unlike some silicone toys isn’t a huge fluff magnet. There is also a silver metallic trim around the handle which does add to the aesthetic from a distance but close to this doesn’t look particularly attractive and has a slightly unfinished look in places.
Womanizer describe the sensation offered as similar to oral sex; a sucking sensation that envelopes your clit rather than vibrating against it. The air technology used by Womaniser is patented. A kind of oscillating sensation means there’s contactless stimulation. I love this. Often if I cum from direct stimulation I’m too sensitive to be touched for a while afterwards and this doesn’t seem to be the case with the Womanizer Premium Smart Silence White Clitoral Stimulator meaning I can continue using it or move on to further play without a break.
At 6.5” wide and 6.2” in circumference the Womanizer Premium Smart Silence White Clitoral Stimulator is considerably larger than any of my previous suction based toys. I was worried this would get in the way when playing with a partner or multiple toys. I was surprised at just how easy it was to sandwich between my thighs leaving me handsfree. This would only work for PiV if I was face down but it’s nice to have the option.
The Womanizer Smart Silence Toy does have two additional features which set is apart from similar toys on the market (including other Womanizer toys):
Autopilot – oh hello!
Basically, this feature controls the speed and intensity of the Womanizer Premium Smart Silence White Clitoral Stimulator but not in the way some vibrators have a “random” setting which repeats. You can scale the intensity yourself using the +/- settings but once selected the Womanizer teases and taunts you between the chosen settings, building and falling seemingly randomly but ultimately in a crescendo. This is both insanely frustrating and insanely hot! It’s the closest feeling a toy has ever given me to be teased by a partner. I have no control and I love it.
Smart Silence
When you switch the Womanizer on it doesn’t start up until it’s in contact with your body and once contact is lost it cuts off. This isn’t so sensitive that wriggling or orgasming switches it off, but it does mean if anyone was to come into the room you could pull it away from your clit and it would be silenced. A great feature if you have kids, or house share, or are a bratty little sub whose playing when she’s been told not to (innocent face).
I do use plenty of water-based lube with the Womanizer to help get a better seal over my clit and prevent any disconnections but also the sucking sensation feels so much more intense when I’m wetter.
So is the Womanizer Smart Silence Toy worth the heft price tag? Yes and no. Rubbish answer I know but it is a great toy with some fantastic additional feature which I truly love; but… I have always come consistently with cheaper rival brands so I guess it just comes down to whether the additional features make this toy more valuable to you.
