I do love the butt stuff, so am always very happy to review lovely little anal plugs for Cara Sutra. This little Loving Joy Demi Silicone Butt Plug was provided free of charge in exchange for my honest review.
The Loving Joy Demi Silicone Butt Plug packaging is a hard plastic which allows you to see the size and shape of the sweet blue little plug. It is appealing with its clean branding and approachable wording. The colours of the packaging makes it seem sexy and a tease which added to my excitement for use.
On the back of the packaging it explains that the toy is soft silicone and is hypo-allergenic which means it should not give you any allergic reaction, although it does have a medical disclaimer on to not use when swollen and to clean thoroughly on the back of the packaging. I do love the fact the packaging says its ‘firm and fulfilling’, it added to the anticipation.
The actual plug itself is a nice insertable length of 4.5 inches. The blue is a pleasant sky blue which doesn’t look scary or overbearing in any manner, which may help make beginners feel more comfortable. The base is quite a big flat base, which could become uncomfortable over longer periods. I used the Loving Joy Demi Silicone Butt Plug for a shorter time of 30 minutes, which it stayed comfortable. The base is also a good size to pull on to pull the plug out.
The flared open base means it would be compatible with a strap on harness also, for the very new to strap on play beginner. The firm plug has a lovely bend on the neck which makes it easier to insert and curve with the body. The body of the plug itself is rather firm but yet soft enough to not hurt when being inserted.
I would say the Loving Joy Demi Silicone Butt Plug is a good beginner plug but any intermediate player can use this as a starting to open up plug. It is rather small and thin but the shape is wonderful to help play, if you have any items to hold a plug in like a harness, this would be a lovely plug to wear all day!
Information with the Loving Joy Demi Silicone Butt Plug does state to only use water based lubrication due to it being made from silicone, I used a jelly lube which is oil based which worked well. I used the plug on 2 occasions, once warmed with hot water before hand to create a nice sensation and once at room temperature, I haven’t tried it at a colder temperature but I am sure it will be more exploration in the future.
Due to the fact it is a high quality silicone toy, the Loving Joy Demi Silicone Butt Plug is dishwasher safe or boiling water to make it clean. After use I cleaned the butt plug with a toy wipe then boiling water from the kettle with a small amount of Milton, baby sterilising fluid.
The negative points of the Loving Joy Demi Silicone Butt Plug are that it is rather small for the level of experience I deal with, but for beginners and the fact you can use it for sensation insertable play makes it more interchangeable with levels.
Out of 10 I would give the Loving Joy Demi Silicone Butt Plug an 8.
