Happy National Orgasm Day 2018! It’s difficult to believe it’s been a year already since the last National Orgasm Day – the year has just flown. In the past I’ve written about the sounds of an orgasm, the importance (or not) of simultaneous orgasms, about not being able to orgasm through oral sex and about having orgasms while I’m asleep. By now simply everyone must know that I absolutely adore wand vibrators… correction, I adore wand vibrators which are powerful enough to get me off. Just because it’s a wand vibrator doesn’t mean it will necessarily bring me to orgasm. I’ve suffered through testing some pretty dire wand vibes in my time which left me with a particularly bitter aftertaste of frustration and disappointment.

The O-Wand

I wasn’t expecting much from The O Wand when I received it for review, as I’m such a die-hard Doxy fan – plus, this new wand vibrator was rechargeable but cordless during use. Could it ever be powerful enough for me when it’s not plugged directly into the mains?

Yes, yes, OHMIGOD YESSS. To me, The O Wand seems to have just a touch less power than the original Doxy Wand, but it’s rumbly. It’s also quieter and it’s waterproof too. You can even buy attachments for it to add a little more variety to your playtimes.

Lovehoney Desire Deluxe Rechargeable Magic Wand Vibrator

A few Lovehoney magic wand vibrators landed on my desk (then quickly relocated to my bedside table) within the space of a few weeks last year, and I didn’t quite know what to expect from them. They certainly look the part, but with mains powered and cordless types I prepared myself for disappointment – perhaps these were just branded lower quality types of wands which wouldn’t be up to (my) standard.

The Lovehoney Desire Deluxe Rechargeable Magic Wand shocked me with just how good it is. It surpassed even my subdued hopes for such a pretty wand vibe in deep purple, made with silicone material. Not only is this wand vibrator very powerful, powerful enough to bring me to orgasm easily, it’s also cordless during use as it’s rechargeable, and it comes with a luxurious locking zip case too. Lovehoney Deluxe Extra Powerful Mains Powered Magic Wand Vibrator

As with the Lovehoney Desire Deluxe Wand Vibe, I tried to keep my expectations low for this more traditional looking magic wand, the Lovehoney Deluxe Extra Powerful Mains Powered Magic Wand Vibrator. It’s white, with connotations of the old Hitachi wand vibrator which was a globally bestselling classic and perhaps the first style of wand vibrator to hit the big time.

But other wand vibes have resembled the Hitachi Wand, and made promises they could never hope to keep. What about the Lovehoney Deluxe? Would it earn the powerful vibrators tag?

Yep, the ‘extra powerful’ bit of its name is true, I can certainly testify to that. Ok, it’s bloody noisy and it’s mains powered, not cordless, meaning it’s not waterproof either – but if you’re after a modern update on the supremely powerful classic, which is also UK mains friendly, the Lovehoney Deluxe Extra Powerful Mains Powered Magic Wand Vibrator is Where. Le Wand Rechargeable Vibrating Wand Massager (NEW!)

And now for something completely new – to the sex toy marketplace, and to my testing/to be reviewed pile. This wand vibrator was sent in a box of other products for the Pleasure Panel to test and review in the next round, but sorry folks – this one just kept calling my name.

The Le Wand Rechargeable Vibrating Wand Massager comes in white or grey, it’s mains rechargeable, therefore in use it’s a cordless wand vibrator. I was hoping against hope that this would be one of the ‘good ones’, that it wouldn’t let me down. And it certainly didn’t.

The Le Wand Rechargeable Vibrating Wand Massager is not only supremely powerful, it’s also surprisingly quiet given the amount of power it throws out. It comes with a zip up storage case as well, which is always a happy-making inclusion, and it looks simply stunning. Ticks all the boxes. There are also a couple of attachments available to buy…

Surprisingly Powerful Rabbit Vibrators

Many years ago I was completely put off using rabbit vibrators because I had such bad – and painful – experiences. Happily, rabbit vibrator designs, materials and power levels have improved considerably since then. In recent years I’ve even found a few surprisingly powerful rabbit vibrators which I thoroughly enjoy regularly using to bring myself to one of those extra strong orgasms.

The Whooper Swan Rabbit Vibrator

The Whooper by Swan Vibes is a victory in rabbit vibrator design. An absolute winner. It’s so… curvy. Rather than a split-ear clit stim style, there’s a firm rounded nub which I can position over my clit – or to the side, usually – and enjoy powerful orgasms in comfort and with ease.

Loving Joy DUA

The Loving Joy DUA Interchangeable Attachments Vibrator surprised me in a couple of ways. I thought I’d prefer the wand vibrator attachment to the rabbit vibrator end, but the wand vibe tip underwhelmed me. However, the Loving Joy DUA as a rabbit vibrator was very pleasurable indeed!

This rechargeable, versatile vibrator is made with body-safe silicone material, and when an attachment is securely in position, it’s waterproof too. Definitely one to consider adding to your collection.

Lovehoney Happy Rabbits

The Lovehoney Happy Rabbits came out a few years ago now, if memory serves. I never tried any of them but they looked the part, in terms of modern rabbit vibrators. Bright, silicone material, rechargeable, comfy looking ‘ears’ as the clit stim.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will spot that there are three new additions to the Lovehoney Happy Rabbits collection, updated and improved models – and I’ve been lucky enough to receive all three of these powerful vibrators all for an upcoming feature. I’ve spent a great deal of time testing these new & improved Happy Rabbits (what a chore!) and I must say I’ve enjoyed every minute. Not that it often takes as long as a whole minute…

G-spot stimulation hasn’t been my favourite journey to orgasm in the past – I usually fall back on clit stim in order to reach orgasm, which I find quicker and easier. L’Amourose ROSA Emerald

Small But Mighty Bullet Vibrators

After wand vibrators, I think bullet vibrators must be my second favourite type of sex toy – which may come as a surprise, considering they’re at the other end of the size scale. How can such small vibrators provide the stimulation levels required to bring a self-confessed Power Queen to orgasm?

With the many thousands of different brands and types of bullet vibrator available in sex shops and online stores now, trying to guess which ones are worth the price tag and which ones really are not is a bit of a nightmare. I’ve tried bullet vibrators which have emitted nothing more than a low purr before fizzling into an early death. However, I’ve also tried – and loved, and loved again, then loved some more – these small but mighty bullet vibrators which you should seriously consider adding to your collection:

Loving Joy Rechargeable Power Bullet Vibrator

This vibrator is one of the biggest surprises ever in my sex toy collection. Despite the £30+ price tag and the rechargeable power, I had little to no hopes about this little bullet vibe being able to satisfy this Power Queen.

Then I charged it up, and switched it on. Wow! Not only is the Loving Joy Rechargeable Power Bullet Vibrator powerful, it’s also quiet, and the power is a rumbly type as well as being extremely strong.

The only thing which lets it down, in my opinion, is the flimsy and cheap-feeling charging dock – but this is easily overlooked in the light of such a brilliant, powerful and portable bullet vibe.

Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator

A favourite of mine for years, the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator is one of those sex toys with a low-budget price tag but a high-value worth in the sex toy collection. It’s battery-powered, which may lead you to think it’s weak and buzzy. Well, it’s certainly not rumbly, but I don’t mind high-frequency vibrations if they bring me to orgasm consistently. And the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator certainly does.

This little bullet vibe is waterproof, easy to use and responds brilliantly to a dot of lube. It’s quiet, portable and I regularly enjoy it either by myself or during fucks and frolics with my partner. And all for less than £15.

Rocks Off RO-80 Bullet Vibrator

The Rocks Off RO-80 Bullet Vibrator is a global bestseller and has won many awards, and when you use it, you understand why. It’s a similar sex toy to the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator and I can use them interchangeably (or all at once, why not!). Where the Tracey Cox Supersex has a rounded tip, the Rocks Off RO-80 has a slightly pointed one.

It’s slightly less high-frequency to my feel than the Supersex, still battery-powered, waterproof, quiet and easy to use. There’s also myriad designs, colours, styles etc to choose from< now, rather than just the classic silver metallic ABS plastic. It’s also even cheaper than the Supersex, at only £13. Bargain.

We-Vibe Tango

The We Vibe Tango is a bullet vibrator which is the favourite in many a sex toy collection, and I also dearly love mine. It’s a different type of stimulating power to the Supersex and Rocks Off RO-80, in my opinion; it’s much more rumbly so may take some getting used to if you usually use high-frequency (more buzzy) small vibrators for clit stim.

In smooth plastic, waterproof with rechargeable power, the We-Vibe Tango is available in pink or blue. It’s a luxurious style of bullet vibrator which comes with a storage pouch and a quality guarantee. It’s also included in the We-Vibe Anniversary Collection, in limited edition Cosmic Purple colour.
