L’Amourose ROSA Emerald Vibrator Review

By Cara Sutra

Having heard plenty of good reports on the L’Amourose sex toys, I’d been hoping to try one out for myself at some point. Enter Ann Summers, stage right. The hero of the day! Ann Summers have a selection of L’Amourose sex toys and offered me the chance to review the L’Amourose ROSA Emerald Vibrator. I happily accepted and wow, am I glad I did.

Let’s start with the packaging. It’s sleek, it’s black, there’s not even a dot of pink or purple… In short, it’s a winner. This matte but silk feel box houses a solid black container made up of two halves, which are kept together with a matching black ribbon. Very pretty. Removing this and opening the holder I finally came face to face with my L’Amourose ROSA Emerald Vibrator.

What a beauty.

The shape of the L’Amourose ROSA Emerald Vibrator is reminiscent of a typical curved vaginal vibe sticking out the top of the Liberator Bon Bon. It has a flat area at the base, which leads to Jewel-esque facet detailing before this black plastic area ends and the silicone insertable vibrator part begins. On the side of this silicone area are the three control buttons, on/raise intensity, lower intensity/off and change pattern button in the middle. Simples.

I really like how this vibrator charges. Yes, it’s a dock, and they don’t always work, but the L’Amourose ROSA Emerald Vibrator actually sits in the dock nicely (when you have it on a level surface obvs) and charges just fine. There’s an led which lights up as ROSA charges, which looks green through the silicone material. This was especially appropriate in the run up to Halloween the past fortnight, but even for future use its just so refreshing to have a different colour toy than pink or purple, and a charging light in something other than danger zone red.

What I was really excited about was two things: would the L’Amourose ROSA Emerald Vibrator really be all that powerful? Secondly, would I enjoy the most shudderingly-good g-spot orgasm since the discovery of the LELO INA wave?

As usual, I didn’t really favour the pulses and patterns on the vibrator. Nothing wrong with them, it’s just that I tend to need constant vibration to get me over that edge. Using the L’Amourose ROSA Emerald Vibrator internally (vaginally) was certainly an intense experience. I was surprised at how much vibration was felt in the tip, which was right on my g spot area. The shape, length and curve were ‘spot on’, as it were. I didn’t achieve a g spot orgasm with ROSA, sadly. I think it’s me rather than the vibrator. It’s definitely incredibly powerful (a deep and rumbling rather than tinny angry wasp buzz) vibration wise, but the g spot orgasm from the LELO INA Wave was a combination of clitoral stimulation (my fave), g spot stim and the overall rise and ebb of the dual probes massaging me inside and out.

With the L’Amourose ROSA Emerald Vibrator I get powerful vibration on my g spot but the base isn’t in the right place for clit stim (for me, anyway. I did try a few positions). If I try to use a bullet vibe on my clit at the same time I’m fighting the Rosa base out of the way. If I turn the Rosa around so that bit is by my bum, the internal shaft curves the wrong way, not towards my g spot.

Damn.

I wasn’t about to give up on the L’Amourose ROSA yet.

I removed it from inside me and tried the vibrating tip of the shaft on my clit.

There we have it, a winner ladies and gentlemen.

This has become one of my top go-to clit vibrators in the past few weeks. I’ve used it where other vibrators have failed me, and you know that feeling, fellow reviewers – when you need to grab something that you KNOW works because what you just tried was such a dismal fail? Yeah, that.

The L’Amourose ROSA Emerald Vibrator has been my sex toy sanity saviour. And not even by pleasuring me in the way that’s intended!

I realise much of the above will simply be my anatomy and sexual pleasure choices, or conditioning. I get off more on clitoral stimulation, need rumble powerful vibration to get there usually, and it’s rare I’ll have a g spit orgasm – and barely ever just from penetrative vibration alone. For the g spot stim fan I can see this being a toy box favourite easily.

The L’Amourose ROSA Emerald Vibrator isn’t the cheapest, at £130, but it is waterproof, rechargeable, made with body safe silicone, gorgeously crafted and presented and POWERFUL. Rosa also comes with a cute satin lined, velvet outer branded storage bag with drawstrings, and much care and attention has gone into the packaging design. In my opinion the ROSA vibrator would make a beautiful and thoughtful gift for a g spot stim and powerful vibrator fan –Christmas or anytime – or quite simply, a a gift from you to your vulva/vagina.

What? You all give gifts to your genitals, right?

Anyhoo…

If you’d like to try this sublime vibrator out for yourself, you can buy the L’Amourose ROSA Emerald Vibrator here at annsummers.com for £130.

You can also buy the Black or Pink version here as well as the ROSA Rouge Heat UpVibrator.

PS. I have read that the Rosa can also be enjoyed as a prostate massager, if you’re the prostate-gland-owning type. 🙂
