Hi, I’m Cara Sutra. I’ve been writing about sex, pleasure, power, and the body since 2009. What started as sex toy reviews has grown into something bigger, and more personal. This site is still a home for honest reviews and practical advice, but it is also where I write about the real stuff: desire, self-trust, kink, relationships, nervous systems, and what it means to live in a body.

If I recommend something, it’s because I think it belongs here. If something does not meet my standards, it does not get a place on this site, no matter how shiny the pitch email is.
Sex Toy Reviewer and Pleasure Panel
My blogging journey started with sex toy reviews, and they remain a core part of my work. I test and review everything from vibrators and dildos to BDSM gear and lingerie, with a focus on comfort, quality, accessibility, and honest pros and cons.
I also founded the Pleasure Panel, a guest review community where volunteers tested products from top sex toy brands.
The project ran until 2019 and created a large archive of honest, user-generated reviews that helped people find what suited them, rather than what was simply popular.
