I have to admit that this anal toy aroused my interest immediately when it came to selecting a product for my next sex toy review. The Screaming O Rechargeable Vibrating Butt Plug appeared, at first glance, to tick all my boxes – so how did I get on with it during use? Let’s start at the beginning.

Packaging & What’s In The Box

I see Screaming O as a mid-level sex toy range, rather than budget or high-end. The packaging reflected this, with the butt plug and accessories housed in a moulded plastic insert, visible through the rigid transparent plastic outer box. The box states what the product is, who makes it, as well as giving some information on what’s included inside, the product features and material.

Sliding the moulded plastic holder from the main outer box, I could finally get my hands on my new butt plug. Along with the anal toy, there’s a remote control, optional wrist-loop, charging lead, spare battery for the remote, instruction leaflet and a remote control ‘tips’ leaflet.

First Impressions & Measurements

My first thought was, “wow, what a nice bunch of accessories”. My second, upon picking up the butt plug itself, was, “wow, what a firm/solid toy!”

I’m ecstatic that this butt plug is made with silicone (silicone coating over the inner motor/mechanisms). I’m also thrilled that it’s fully waterproof. During Use

Operation of the Screaming O Rechargeable Vibrating Butt Plug was simple enough, whether using the buttons on the base of the plug itself, or using the wireless remote control. I find it easier to use the remote; why fiddle about trying to reach buttons on the toy when you’ve got a remote available?

To switch on, just press and hold one of the two buttons on the base of the plug. A red LED will light up to let you know it’s ‘on’ but it won’t start vibrating. At this point, you can either press a button on the toy to start operating it this way, or you can use the remote control. This means you can prep the toy to be ready for remote operation, then lube it and yourself, insert the plug, and begin enjoying your play session without any hassle.

There are various settings available with the Screaming O Rechargeable Vibrating Butt Plug – 5 increments of constant vibration, and a large selection of pulses and patterns sure to suit someone who is a fan of this type of stimulation. Press and hold either up or down button to switch the plug off. To make sure it’s all properly off, once I remove the plug I also press a button on the base to switch it on, then press and hold to turn the unit fully off –not just on standby.

The plug is noted as waterproof on the packaging but no note about the remote control- so I haven’t submerged the remote, just in case. I recommend keeping it dry because I’m sure water could easily flood and damage the battery compartment.

I’m not one for patterns and pulses, so during my playtimes I stick with the constant vibration. It even comes with a spare cell battery for the remote control, so you have it handy whenever the included one runs out.

It doesn’t come with a storage bag, but these are easily found at sex toy shops or you may have your own toy storage option already sorted. Mine’s in the bedside drawer, along with the remote control, but when I want to pack it for a dirty weekend away I have a toy case it will fit into nicely.
