These are popular with fans of anal reaming, strap-on sex and anyone who just loves alternative pleasure products. I’ve been interested in trying out some of the JTT range for quite a while, especially as they’ve had rave reviews from resident reviewer Tigerlily. After much deliberating I chose the Skittle dildo, the Buxom Lady dildo, the Sergeant Major butt plug and the Twisted Hog butt plug. This review is for the John Thomas The Buxom Lady Neon Green Silicone Dildo, and I have the medium size in medium firmness.

Packaging
All John Thomas Toys are sent very discreetly to spare any blushes: they’re packed securely in recyclable packaging in a plain brown outer cardboard box. Your chosen butt plug or dildo is shrink-wrapped in plastic, which should bear a John Thomas authenticity sticker and a label confirming the silicone firmness of your new toy (soft, medium or firm).
What You Get
At the moment, most John Thomas sex toys are sent with a free Vac-U-Lock suction cup adaptor, including this John Thomas The Buxom Lady Dildo. Check the product page to see whether your particular product comes with this suction cup adaptor –a few of the JTT pleasure products don’t have the required hole in the base, but John Thomas provide all the details on their website.
This adaptor handily transforms your new toy into a stable, suctioned sex toy to lower yourself on to gradually – which is especially relevant considering the size of many John Thomas dildos and butt plugs. As well as aiding comfort and safety during use, the Vac-U-Lock adaptor means you can use the dildo with an O-ring strap-on harness.
If your John Thomas Toy is especially large, it may be best to slip the adaptor through the harness’ O-ring before plunging it into the base of the dildo. Whether you’ll be able to ‘strap-on fuck’ with the dildo is another matter – a lot of the John Thomas dildos are massive! – but it’s still extremely fun just to wield & waggle an enormous dong in a strap-on.
Measurements
This dildo (which is the Medium size) measures 6.25 inches in overall length, with an insertable length of 5.25 inches. The maximum circumference of the shaft is 8 inches around the largest bulge, while the minimum circumference is 4.5 inches (around the smallest bulge).
During Use
Bearing in mind the above measurements for this toy, I was quite concerned about whether I could fit it in. The length is no problem, but the girth… the girth! 8 inches around the largest part, towards the bottom of the toy. At least there’s a definite taper.
The shape is unusual too, with the John Thomas The Buxom Lady Dildo shaped like a spire or tower rather than traditionally cylindrical or phallic. Despite being called ‘Buxom Lady’ (and I can see why, with the triple curve shape), it’s far more ‘thicc’ at the bottom than in the middle. It’s definitely ‘all about that bass’ and I was hoping that the only thing this dildo would potentially break was the internet, rather than my delicate regions.
After washing the dildo, I was ready to grab the lube, take a deep breath and let this Buxom Lady have her way with me. I found it quite difficult to fully insert when I was laid on the bed, so the Vac-U-Lock adaptor was gratefully used. Placing the dildo-plus-suction-adaptor on a smooth surface (I often use a closed loo seat, but you can use any smooth tiled surface or the side of a bath), I could lower myself gradually on to this green gem of a sex toy, which was reassuring, safer and helped me take the full length (eventually!).
I feel it would be quite tricky to peg with this size of John Thomas The Buxom Lady Dildo due to the shape of it. It’s wide but squat, and takes some manoeuvring to use it on myself, vaginally, even with the aid of a securely affixed suction cup adaptor. It’s worth stating that although you could use this toy anally, with the lip at the base and especially when the suction cup is in place, this would be more suited to someone with a much more forgiving and capacious anal area than I.
Summary
The Buxom Lady is a dildo which I believe will have various uses depending on which size you order, which size you’d be able to ‘take’, and what your particular plans for it are. I can only review the toy I’ve got, which is the Medium size Buxom Lady. As such, I found this dildo to provide a new and different experience to most other dildos I own and have tried, which was a pleasant surprise.
For fans of anal reaming and those able to take monster cocks, perhaps the large or extra-large size Buxom Lady dildos will present the challenge you are looking for. The extra-large, for instance, has an insertable length of 9.5 inches and the base bulge circumference is an eye-watering 13.5 inches. Wow.
As for me: although the length of this Medium size was nothing to gasp about by itself, the shape and circumference are definitely breathtaking.
The suction cup adaptor was a complete orifice-saver with this one… lowering gradually, with the aid of lube, meant I could take my time and take the full length.
It’s worth noting that there’s also a Small size Buxom Lady, with an insertable length of 3.5 inches and a maximum circumference around that bottom bulge of 5.4 inches.
If you’re looking for vaginal (or anal) stretch, the John Thomas The Buxom Lady Dildo could be for you. The tapered tip makes for easy insertion, and the well-defined difference between each ‘bulge’ means you can take the length at your pace. The platinum silicone material gives a great glide when coupled with water-based lubricant or silicone lube, and this material also means you can rest assured this is a completely body-safe, non-toxic and free from phthalates sex toy.
