Nexus Revo 2 Prostate Massager Review

By Giles English

For a chastity fetishist like me, there’s something darkly enticing about a hands-free, penis-free orgasm. It’s an added bonus – as the Nexus Revo 2 Prostate Massager just taught me – that there’s also something deeply sensual about it. Alas, when it comes to anal sex toys, I’m a bit of a Goldilocks. The Nexus Ace was too big. The Tantus Prostate Play device was too weak. Well it turns out that the Nexus Revo 2 Prostate Massager is just right.

Packaging & Presentation

The Nexus Revo 2 Prostate Massager arrives in classy packaging:

Everything about it says quality – this is a million miles away from the first sex toys we bought back in the 90s.

Specs

The material is medical silicone. There’s a USB charger cable with a magnetic docking and a little black bag for storage. There’s even a glossy booklet giving sensible advice on use (though take a look at Cara’s articles on the subject).

The one downside is that the Nexus Revo 2 isn’t entirely waterproof, so you’re not supposed to fully immerse it. This means cleaning involves wiping rather than dunking.

First Impressions

Unboxed, the Nexus Revo 2 looks like a fetish version of a Star Trek phaser:

However, when you turn it on it… squirms and throbs.

What happens is a very powerful motor rotates the head. Meanwhile an equally powerful vibrator, well, vibrates.

During Use

With appropriate lubrication, I found the Nexus Revo 2 Prostate Massager pretty easy to insert – the dimensions are sensible dildo size.

The effect is akin to being serviced by an overexcited sex droid.

The rotating head means the device works like fingers and thumb squeezing, not just rubbing the prostate but also giving a deep massage to the perineum. And while it squeezes, it vibrates.

The button gives you six modes made of combinations of vibration (none/pulsing/continuous) and head rotation (slow/fast). Each created slightly different sensations, all of them lovely.

I found the experience is very different from penis-in-hand masturbation: I couldn’t tense up or rush things, I had to lie back and just let the experience happen. That made me much more aware of mood and setting, and also physical comfort. When lying around naked, it’s easy to get cold.

The new sensations also made it harder to focus on a fantasy, though I suspect experience will fix this.

Conclusion

Did I get my hands free orgasm?

Not this time. I wallowed in a plateau phase for something like 45 minutes, climax deliciously just out of reach. In the end, I needed a little nudge through the bars of my chastity cage to get off.

I was left pretty well mind blown, with a strong feeling that with time and practice I’ll be able to achieve the elusive hands-free, penis-free orgasm.

Rating? 10/10.
