Packaging

The packaging of the Rocks Off RO-90 Bullet Vibrator is fairly plain in a blister-pack clear plastic shell that fits the vibrator with the battery inside, in front of a cardboard back panel that has all the warnings and other product information on it. It has no pictures of naked or seductively-gazing women on it, which is a good indication of a quality brand in my experience.

Appearance

The Rocks Off RO-90 Bullet Vibrator is the most bullet-y looking bullet vibe I’ve ever seen. It’s shiny, silver, and tapered at the tip. It’s 10mm longer than the standard RO-80 bullet, which makes it a bit easier to hold on to if you struggle to grip things. It also fits lengthwise between the labia and vibrates along the clitoris as well as the sensitive skin near the vaginal opening. It’s made of ABS plastic, so it’s light and hard.

The gasket between the body of the bullet and the cap as well as the button are made of a soft rubbery material that feels like silicone. Since it will likely not make direct contact with the genitals, I wouldn’t worry too much about sterilization. Because the RO-90 has this gasket, it’s waterproof and submersible so you can use it in the shower and wash it right in the sink!

Settings

This Rocks Off RO-90mm Bullet Vibrator has 10 settings: 3 speeds and 7 patterns, which you can access by pressing the single button at the end of the bullet. The first 3 patterns are pulses that get faster as you progress through the settings. The next 4 settings are composed of short pulses in drumbeat-like patterns.

Turning it Off

Normally, this section is unnecessary. However, the Rocks Off RO-90 Bullet Vibrator is a bit strange in that once you get through the settings, it doesn’t shut off. The only way that I could figure out how to turn it off was to partially unscrew it. This works fine, but it requires two hands and if you need to turn it off in a hurry, it’s a bit inconvenient.

Vibration

The Rocks Off RO-90mm Bullet Vibrator has a tapered tip at the top, but it’s less pointy than the RO-80, which allows you to get pinpoint vibration without it being too pinpoint- a nice middle-of-the-road pointiness for those who want to see if they might enjoy pinpoint vibration but aren’t quite sure.

The strength of the vibration is decent, not weak by any means but a bit on the surface-buzzy end of the spectrum. The vibrations actually felt more rumbly, and therefore stronger to my body, on the lowest setting.

Battery

For running on a single AAA battery, the Rocks Off RO-90m Bullet Vibrator is pretty powerful! I used to have a lipstick shaped vibe that took a AAA and this puts that one to shame. It’s also pretty nice that it runs on a common type of battery that you might have hanging around your house, as opposed to a huge, expensive watch battery. The battery also lasts fairly long, even though the battery that it comes with is a generic battery type. Mine has yet to run out, but once it does I’m pretty sure a higher quality battery will last even longer!

Use in a Harness

The RO-90’s extra length gave me pause at first when I was thinking about fitting it in the harness, but it seemed to fit fine in most places. The only place that it was a bit too big was in the bottom pocket of my Joque. It hit my leg a lot which was uncomfortable and changed the setting when it hit my leg. However, it did fit really well in the bottom section of my RodeoH between my labia. It was a nice way to get broad vibration while still retaining the friction from the fabric. Also, it performed well in the top pocket of both the RodeoH and the Joque. The vibrations do travel through the fabric and can stimulate a partner’s clitoris or perineum.

I usually am pretty disinterested in vibration patterns, but when I used them in the harness it was really nice. When I wasn’t trying to make myself come with it, it felt nice. The Rocks Off RO-90 Bullet Vibrator helped me get over the edge in a situation where I was already pretty turned on and the friction from the harness was adding to the fun! It really worked to keep strap-on play mutually pleasurable and fun.

Overall

I liked the Rocks Off RO-90 Bullet Vibrator a lot for foreplay and additional stimulation, but I struggled to make myself come with just the vibe. I am a lover of broad and rumbling vibrations, but this vibe only felt rumbly on one or two settings and has a pretty pinpoint type of stimulation.

This vibe works great for use in a harness during strap-on play, and would be amazing for someone who likes pinpoint stimulation but wants a longer body to hold on to.
