How It Feels
There’s a reason I’ve taken my time getting to this particular Hankey’s Toys dildo review – I needed to warm up with a few of the others first! The Hankey’s Toys Seahorse Dildo in Large really is very large. Even though I took note of the measurements of this Large size Seahorse toy on the Hankey’s Toys website, I hadn’t realised just how weighty, girthy, chunky and massive these measurements would translate to in real life and during use. Need lube? Fuck yes. A barrel full.
Despite my apprehension and reservations about the sheer size of the thing, I was looking forward to the challenge this huge toy presented. With large toys, I prefer to use them vaginally as it’s had more practice than my butt. I’ve seen plenty of Hankey’s Toys fans taking extremely large toys anally though, on their fabulously explicit Twitter/X account. If you are into shoving weapons of massive ass destruction into tight butt holes, with all the creamed lube, full body shudders, reaming and gaping that involves, I strongly recommend you follow.
Like I say, I need a lot of lube when I attempt to use the Large Hankey’s Toys Seahorse Dildo, even when using it vaginally which produces its own natural lubrication. I had to be extremely relaxed, in a place I was certain of absolute privacy – my bedroom with the door locked, the windows and curtains shut and the TV on for some handy background noise. When inserting large dildos into my vagina, it really helps to be as aroused as possible, without tipping over into orgasm, before the insertion attempt. For this mighty beast of a dildo, this involved the full works. Sexy media, vibrating nipple clamps, powerful bullet vibe for precise and intense clit stim.
Only when I felt absolutely desperate to have something inside me, vaginally, did I start using the Hankey’s Toys Seahorse Dildo.
Despite all the preparation, I can only reach about a third of the way down the shaft, vaginally, before I hit my limit. Those with plenty of experience with using large toys anally will undoubtedly be able to take much more, probably the entire shaft, in their back door. Using it vaginally I appreciated the smaller, rounded penis-style tip for easier insertion (with plenty of lube to help), and the prominent seahorse-style ridges on the shaft add extra layers of pleasurable stimulation both on the way in, and on the way out.
The large, weighty base was brilliant for both sitting the toy on a flat surface to safely straddle it during insertion and use, and it’s also a good size to hold on to if you’re laying down. I chose to use it on a flat surface I could straddle over, personally, as I needed to stay in complete control of the insertion speed and amount, so I didn’t risk damage to myself. It would also be pretty risky dropping a heavy toy of this size on to your foot!
In reality this toy is too big for me to grab and use on a regular basis, but that’s purely down to my personal anatomy, size experience and usage preferences. General Info & Specs
The Hankey’s Toys Seahorse Dildo is available in 5 sizes. I have the Large size in Metallic green, made with Hankey’s usual platinum-grade silicone in medium firm firmness. There are two even larger sizes (!), and two smaller ones available. I chose to have the optional Vac-U-Hole in the base, meaning it can be used with compatible plugs on strap-on sex harnesses, fucking machines and other furniture.
Hankey’s Toys sell a suction cup adaptor that works with the Vac-U-Hole in the base, in the mrhankeystoys accessories area.
Packaging / Unboxing
Hankey’s Toys’ packaging is reassuringly discreet; you won’t find any mentions of dildos or sex toys on the outside of the plain brown box. The review products were snugly packed inside, ensuring they stayed put during transit to prevent any damage.
The Seahorse dildo was wrapped, like all my other Hankey’s Toys dildos, in shrink-wrap clear plastic. This contained a Hankey’s Toys sticker. On the base there’s a QR code which leads to more details & care info at the Hankey’s Toys website. Just carefully snip the clear plastic wrapping to remove, then wash the dildo thoroughly in soapy water before first use to remove any manufacturing residue.
