I was really pleased to be testing the MEO Deluxe Steel Hogtie Bondage Connector for the Cara Sutra sex blog. I’m no newbie to bondage, but one of the things I’ve never tried is a hogtie. I was delighted to be given this opportunity to try one out. Thank you Cara and MEO.

Packaging
The packaging for the MEO steel chain hogtie is a clear sealed plastic bag. Inside the bag there is a leaflet with information regarding usage. MEO recommend talking with your play partner and setting boundaries, before using the hogtie. They emphasise the motto, “Safe, Sane, and Consensual” and how important it is to have a safe word in place. I though this was great information for people that are just starting to experiment with bondage, and a good reminder for people experienced in bondage.
First Impressions
Upon removing the MEO chain hog tie from the bag I could immediately see it was a high quality product. After a quick look over I was impressed with this steel hogtie. Its very shiny, smooth, and I could see no defects in the quality of the steel.
The MEO Deluxe Steel Hogtie Bondage Connector consists of one central steel O-ring, that is connected to four steel chains, with quick-release clips at the ends that can be attached to any cuffs with a D-ring. The clips can also rotate 360 degrees, this makes it easier when attaching the clips to cuffs. The length of each chain from clip to O-ring, measures 8.5” in length.
In Use
The MEO Deluxe Steel Hogtie Bondage Connector is very easy to use. I used my Bondage Boutique Leather cuffs with buckle fastenings with this steel hogtie, but you can use Velcro fastening cuffs as well. Once I had my cuffs on the connector clips can be easily attached to the D-rings. It feels very strong and secure. Its a versatile piece of bondage kit, and can be used in several positions. The hogtie being the obvious once, other positions we tried were, kneeling with hands and ankles cuffed from behind, standing bending forwards, or laying on your side or back. Changing positions is quick and easy with the quick release clips.
As this was my first time being hogtied, I didn’t realise how restricted I would feel once cuffed, chained and in position. My favourite position was kneeling while hogtied for obvious reasons! I love chains, from the sound they make, to the feel of the shiny cold smooth steel. When the cold steel chains touched my skin it felt amazing! We had a lot of fun trying out several positions, and there was no way I could escape from this steel hogtie, it is totally secure.
Summary
Overall, I think the MEO Deluxe Steel Hogtie Bondage Connector is a high quality, versatile piece of bondage kit. It would be a fantastic addition to anyone’s bondage collection. I highly recommend MEO Deluxe Steel Hogtie Bondage Connector to anyone looking to experiment with bondage.
