After using and loving the LELO Smart Wand Medium Vibrator, my curiosity was piqued about the LELO Smart Wand Large Vibrator. That’s right, not only a power Queen but a size Queen too, evidently.

I figured that bigger should be better, at least in terms of power.

When I was sent the LELO Smart Wand Large Vibrator to review I was over the moon. It was sent free of charge in exchange for this fair and honest review.

As to be expected from LELO, the presentation is once again flawless. Exquisitely packaged within a stylish, minimalist outer, then inside the inner lidded sleek white box embellished with the LELO logo, you will find your pleasure inducing contents. In this case, the LELO Smart Wand Large Vibrator.

Unwrapping a new LELO product is a gift in itself, revealing yet more beauty every step of the way.

In the LELO Smart Wand Large Vibrator Box

Within the lidded LELO box you discover not only your LELO Smart Wand Large Vibrator (I have the Black model but it’s also available in Purple), you also find the wall charger to charge up and recharge the wand. There is a 10 year warranty as with all LELO products and also an instruction leaflet.

LELO provide something different to the bog standard satin drawstring storage bag on this occasion, a cushioned neoprene flap top storage sleeve for your LELO Smart Wand Large Vibrator, in black with purple highlights, in the Insignia logo design across the front. This storage pouch is also finished with the LELO tag, a subtle finishing touch on the bottom side of the pouch.

The storage pouch dimensions are 13 inches long by 6.75 inches wide when laid flat.

The LELO Smart Wands are part of the Insignia range, so you also get a cute little gold Insignia brooch, which is the logo you can see on the box. Cleverly, this logo is mirrored in the power and function buttons on the fascia of all LELO Insignia products too, carrying that reassuring thread of consistency through the collection.

So to the wand itself. This vibrator is 12 inches long, when laid next to a tape measure. There is quite a curve in the wand that this doesn’t take into account, which means you can easily angle the important head of the wand against your body without getting a sore wrist or any other discomfort.

It is ideally shaped so that you can hold it down, pointing in towards your body, then rest the head against your clitoral area (for girls, obviously!).

The vibrating head of the LELO Smart Wand Large Vibrator works by stimulating your nerve endings here until a very pleasurable climax. But more about that later. You may also choose to tease and deny, building up a frisson of stimulation as art of foreplay either alone or with a partner’s help.

The Wand has three buttons on the front, in the Insignia logo design, as mentioned previously. There is a ‘+’ button the the top, then the middle button, then a ‘-‘ button at the bottom of the column of three.

The ‘+’ button will power up your Smart Wand, bringing it from off to on, and to the first mode, steady vibration. Keep clicking ‘+’ to raise the power of the vibration, or alternatively press ‘-‘ to decrease the power, until you find the level you like.

The centre button allows you to move through the 8 vibration settings. It is also the SenseMotion button. This patent pending technology from LELO is a new, intuitive form of technological pleasure. Simply press and hold the centre button for 3-5 seconds, then you will see the backing lights flicker. The SenseMotion is activated. Now, when using the Smart Wand, if you press the wand harder against you it will respond with more power without you having to press a button. Clever!

I tried out the SenseMotion setting and it does work. I am not sure how you use it to lower the power however, but it is useful if you don’t want to have to interrupt your pleasure session to press the ‘+’ button repeatedly, even though this would be easy anyway due to the fab design of the toy.

As always my favourite setting is the highest power of the steady vibration, directly against the clit area. I can use this wand vibe either lying down or standing up, it isn’t too heavy and the head nestles between the legs to provide a sensational orgasm that you arrive at amazingly quickly.

Not only can the Smart Wand be used wherever, in whichever position, it is also waterproof, so a fun addition to the bath or shower. Quick orgasms in the shower, under the hot running water, or a sexy spa in your very own bath.

It does feel strange putting it under water when the charge socket is so seemingly open, but waterproof it said and waterproof I tested. The LELO Smart Wand Large Vibrator survived (and so did I). I am not sure how they have manufactured it to be waterproof with this socket area, but they have, and I’m very glad too.

How to charge the LELO Smart Wand Large Vibrator

Of course, the LELO Smart Wand Large is a rechargeable sex toy, just like the rest of the luxurious LELO range.

When you first unwrap your LELO Smart Wand Large, connect the charging lead into the socket at the base of the toy then plug the charge lead into the wall. The buttons will light up while the wand is charging.

There is a note on the plug that you cannot use this charger with any other LELO product. Bear this in mind if you are in the habit of using one plugged in lead for all your other LELO toys. ~guilty face~

The LELO Smart Wand Large Vibrator needs to be on charge for 2 hours to give a 2 hour non-stop play time.
