My Womanizer W500 Review
The original Womanizer sex toy took the world by storm, and after much success with this unique type of orgasm-giving device it’s no surprise that a second version has been created. When the sex toy industry heard about the Womanizer and how it’s meant to work, many were understandably cynical. It gives women orgasms without touching them? It guarantees an orgasm every time? This thing, which resembles an oversized ear thermometer, is actually a sex toy? Yeah, right.
Do The Womanizer Sex Toys Work?
But I, along with every other cynical mind out there, was to be proven wrong. The Womanizer does indeed work. It works for every woman I’ve spoken to who has tried it and for me, with my (by this stage) fussy clitoris. Some women describe it as their go-to toy, their favourite, their absolute must-have; for me, it works but the orgasm is somewhat lacking even though there indeed *is* one every time.
I found that this is also the case with this second version, the Womanizer W500 Pro Vibrator. Speaking to someone in the industry recently, it came out that their female partner felt similar to me about ‘Womanizer orgasms’. I’d describe deep rumbling vibrations from the likes of the L’Amourose Rosa, the Motorhead large vibrators, the We Vibe Tango bullet and the Moregasm G Spot vibe as warm, intimate and suffusing, orgasms from the Doxy Wand to be violent and ripped from my body – and orgasms from the Womanizer to be sterile and clinical. It’s like a bodily function, it happens but I don’t really attach much emotion to it. It does the job, but without any sensuality for me.
Still, if an orgasm is an orgasm for you then it might be your go-to sex toy as well.
How Do Womanizer Toys Work?
The way the Womanizer sex toys work is intriguing. There’s a silicone ring which attaches to (and can be removed to be thoroughly cleaned, there’s also an XL version spare included) the main body of the device. There’s a simple power button on the front of the W500 Pro and a separate button to change the intensity up or down when in use. There’s a flap at the base which is lifted so you can charge up the Womanizer W500 Pro Vibrator. Yes, it’s rechargeable and the silicone ring flashes with an attractive glow (in the case of my one, with a green glow to match the colour) to let you know it’s charging up correctly.
Seal & Suction
When the Womanizer W500 Pro Vibrator is on, there’s a gentle undulating suction transmitted through the silicone ring area. Placing this over the clitoris, to form a seal, is how the Womanizer works. This is how they say it’s a ‘touch-free orgasm’. I guess it’s not entirely true as the silicone ring is touching you, but that’s not what brings me to orgasm. It’s the undulation of the air inside that silicone ring, combined with the suction, all working together to stimulate the nerve endings of my, by now, exposed and erect clit. As there’s nothing physically touching my clit, just that air and suction sensation, it’s a unique feeling. It was strange at the beginning (I didn’t know if I was going to like it at all, for a while) then suddenly, eureka. Ohhh. It works.
A minute or so after that moment, and the orgasm was delivered. That’s the only way I can describe it. It gives me an orgasm. If I keep the Womanizer W500 Pro Vibrator in place then I don’t decide to orgasm, I simply do, once my clit has been stimulated in that weird way enough. There’s no sensual or erotic head space with it, for me. I orgasm, it works, I lay back for a moment then get on with my day. No need for any mess, interaction or wetness. Orgasm: done.
Positioning
As I have to spread myself and expose my clit to use the Womanizer W500 Pro Vibrator, then keep the ring sealed in place during use, it can be rather tricky to make sure your hand is keeping it in the right position. This is especially true the closer I get to orgasm, when understandably things are getting a bit shaky down there.
I’ve used the Womanizer W500 Pro Vibrator a few times now and I honestly can’t tell that much difference between it and the first version – aside from the fact that it’s a different shape, and mine is a different colour. I chose the Mint Lace version this time, so much nicer than that leopard print thing I had on version one. The shape of the second version feels nice in my hand, it charges up simply and easily enough, and it’s easy to figure out how to use it and to then actually use it to orgasm whenever I like. Oh the second version has 8 settings compared to just 5 on the first. You need to play around with it to find the right intensity of undulating suction for you.
Compared To Other Sex Toys
The Womanizer W500 Pro Vibrator isn’t my go-to sex toy as I don’t feel a connection to it through orgasming like I do with certain other sex toys – the Doxy for instance, which dominates me every time, or the Motorhead Overkill Vibrator which gives deep rumbling powerful vibrations against my clit that I’m used to, or the Moregasm G Spot vibe which works in a similar way. The Womanizer W500 Pro doesn’t take my G spot which one shaft and my clit with the external one like the LELO INA Wave and massage me to a blissful and lengthy orgasm. But if I had an extremely stressful day, I didn’t have any other sex toys around and the cure was a prescription for one orgasm coming up fast, the Womanizer W500 Pro Vibrator would certainly do the job every time. Unfortunately, this second version isn’t waterproof either, which is a shame.

Yes, I do. I really do love the Womanizer W500 Clitoral Stimulator! I was so glad when Womanizer finally came up with the W500. I liked the look of a classy one in the range, the white and silver version. I purchased it from Lovehoney and was so excited when this innovative and much-worshipped clitoris stimulator arrived. The Womanizer W500 Clitoral Stimulator came in a classy white box (not super discreet, because it has the picture of the toy on the front). Inside was the device, two different sized silicone clitoral nozzles, a charging cable, black satin storage pouch and the instruction manual.
The Womanizer W500 Clitoral Stimulator has a plastic body, with easily changeable silicone heads (I call them nozzles) for the clitoris. The crystal button is the on/off control, then there are the + and – buttons for 8 different stimulation strengths.
I started with the recommended 2 hour initial charge. When it was all charged up I went straight to the point. I put some lube on my clitoral area and switched the device on by pressing the crystal. I placed the suction nozzle on my clitoris and let it form the “suction seal”.
The feeling of the stimulation is very intriguing even on the lowest setting, and the stimulation gets more and more intense the more I press the + button. I will try describing the stimulation the best I can. I would describe the stimulation feeling like bubbles or fast nibbling or something similar. It feels beautiful! When it is on my clit it sounds like a distant tractor driving (can´t hear through a closed door and some music/TV), when it’s off my clit it is pretty loud.
I usually start on a higher setting, this gets my clitoral nerve endings awake, warmed up and ready to go for an orgasm adventure. I will build up to an orgasm very fast (takes between 1-2 minutes). Right when I “tip over the edge” into an orgasm, I will push the crystal button, the Womanizer W500 Clitoral Stimulator scrolls the power back to the lightest one and I can orgasm with the minimal stimulation. This helps to prevent me getting overly sensitive. Still, by retaining some stimulation, the orgasm lasts longer and stays steady and just oh… so sweet!
After a warm up orgasm I will continue on setting 1-4 and go up and down in strength. This will create a rhythm manually and make me come to the edge of my orgasms. I will just stay still and let the Womanizer W500 work it’s orgasm magic. The orgasm build up just feels sweet and heavenly, because I am not really doing anything I get to just feel the pleasure and orgasmic sensations. I really get to just be in the moment, sense and enjoy everything and I think this makes the experience so different.
It’s difficult to explain, but I think when I use a dildo and a clitoral stimulator, I have to focus on creating and building the orgasm manually, which feels amazing as well, but it´s not pure concentration on the clitoral nerves… With the Womanizer W500 Clitoral Stimulator, it does all the work for me and I just get to focus solely on my clitoris feeling amazing, and all the nerve endings just singing Hallelujah!
I personally also love some internal stimulation while my Womanizer W500 is doing it´s thing on my clitoris. I will go for a good butt plug or dildo which I can move slowly or just keep still and squeeze around with my pelvic floor muscles. A thrusting dildo doesn’t really work that well, because movement will break the suction and that´s not what we’re going for.
I can be orgasmically satisfied with the Womanizer W500 Clitoral Stimulator, but many times I like to take advantage of all the “pussy juice buildup” orgasmic sensations and sensitivity I have. I love to continue my session with a dildo and some other type of clitoral stimulation (fingers, Eroscillator 2, one of my magic wand vibrators…) for even longer sessions.
The two different size silicone nozzles feel different on my clitoris. The smaller one feels more intense than the bigger one. They are both pleasing and deliver different feels…
The battery life of the Womanizer W500 Clitoral Stimulator is amazing! It charges in about 2 hours and I can use it many times (= I think they say 4 hours). And the charging is simple and easy, you stick the USB cable in the toy, the nozzle blinks green when it´s charging and it will stay green when fully charged.
Cleaning is also easy, just wash the silicone nozzle and wipe down the Womanizer W500 body after every use.
I only have one sad thing to say about my Womanizer W500. After using it many times in a row, or using it for a marathon session, my clitoris will get chafed. It’s not bad it will heal in a day, but still this is sad… This isn’t a problem, unless we are talking 1 hour or more of use. I just have to be conscious of how I’m using my Womanizer W500.
Remember: Use a good amount of water based lube, don’t apply pressure to your clitoris with the toy (keep a light touch), don´t play too long, don’t use continuously on the highest speeds.
I don’t really know what else to say. For me, my body and my clitoris the Womanizer W500 Clitoral Stimulator works great. It gives me amazing orgasms every time, over and over again. I love it. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Womanizer W500 to all who like clitoral stimulation…
