LELO LOKI Wave Prostate Massager Review
By Pleasure Panel reviewer minnie
LELO are certainly releasing plenty of new sex toys at the moment, including this LELO LOKI Wave Prostate Massager (available here at Lovehoney). No doubt timed to capture the maximum buying potential from seasonal events such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day, I’ve been asked to review some of these new releases so I can share some honest and unbiased feedback with my readers. Hopefully these reviews give you a good idea whether a certain product will be right for you (or your partner) or not.
Some of the new LELO sex toys my partner and I have tried recently are the prostate massagers, LELO LOKI and LELO BRUNO, and I was treated to an upgraded version of a classic, LELO LILY 2 which has the added bonus of being infused with an aphrodisiac-based scent.
This review is for the just-released-last-week LELO LOKI Wave. If you follow my sex toy adventures you’ll know that I am in love with my LELO INA Wave. The WaveMotion technology from LELO is a back and forth movement of the insertable shaft, which, when combined with LELO’s powerful vibration, gives incredibly satisfying pleasure. The hold of the LELO INA Wave, when the internal and external parts are closest together, pressing on the G-spot and clitoris simultaneously feels delicious. The vibration on top tips me over the edge every time.
LELO LOKI Wave is a similar sex toy but for men, or people with a prostate gland. Not sure about where the prostate is or what it’s for? Read this brilliant article by Hella Rude.
I was interested to see how the LELO LOKI Wave would measure up, especially in comparison to the other new LELO Prostate Massagers, but sadly I can’t try out prostate massagers myself. Well I could, but it would simply be as a vibrating anal toy; I can’t reflect on any prostate massage personally.
With this in mind, I asked my slave minnie to review the LELO LOKI Wave. I have my own male partner of course, Darren/Sable from SableCraft, but as he found the original LELO LOKI slightly too wide for comfort (he tends to like very slender probe-like anal toys the most) I decided to let minnie try this new Wave version out.
Before I hand over to minnie, some details about the toy. LELO LOKI Wave is a waterproof, rechargeable vibrating prostate massager. It comes with a sachet of LELO Personal Moisturiser (water based lube), the USB charging lead, instruction booklet and warranty card along with details of LELO’s product guarantee (read more about LELO’s guarantees on this page). LELO LOKI Wave offers 10 stimulation modes including vibrating patterns, pulses and intensities. I received a sample/tester LELO LOKI Wave which did not come in official packaging so unfortunately I am not able to provide any box or unboxing photographs.
LELO LOKI Wave Prostate Massager Review
I was asked by Cara Sutra to try out the LELO LOKI Wave prostate massager. This had been sent free of charge in return for a fair and honest review.
I have tried a variety of prostate massagers over the years, with varying results, but the LELO LOKI Wave is now my favourite.
Normally packaged in a smart black box with vision panel, it comes with a USB charging lead, satin storage pouch and detailed, multi-lingual instructions. The charging lead can be plugged into a pc, laptop or mains plug and a 2 hour charge will give 2 hours of use. Made of body-safe, smooth and comfortable silicone it feels good to the touch and is waterproof, meaning you can safely use it in the shower as well as making it easy to clean.
The version I received was black with a white handle and control area, and if black doesn’t take your fancy there is a bright blue and white version also available.
LELO LOKI Wave has 10 different settings as well as speed control.
Unlike other prostate massagers, the LELO LOKI Wave can stimulate both internally and externally with what LELO describe as a ‘come hither’ motion. There is a simple on/off button as well as up/down controls for both speed and function.
At 1.5″ diameter it is rather chunky, but with plenty of water based lube it slid inside without too much discomfort. Once in place it felt fine. The insertable length is 3″.
I experimented with the various settings, which vary from vibrate only, to vibrate and ‘come hither’, to ‘come hither’ only as well as the various speed settings. Personally, I found the fastest speeds a bit too intense for my tastes, especially on the ‘come hither’ settings, but otherwise the feelings and sensations were fabulous and definitely did the job.
The mix of vibrations and ‘come hither’ were the most enjoyable for me, especially with the firm external massage adding to the sensations.
All in all my opinion is that LELO LOKI Wave is a great new massager and is now firmly at the top of my list. I will be keeping it charged up so it’s ready for use whenever I feel the need for some prostate massage – which is often. LELO LOKI Wave has a permanent new home by the side of my bed so it’s close to hand whenever I want it!
There’s only one thing I would change about LELO LOKI Wave if I could: I would prefer the control buttons to be dimpled, ridged or somehow raised so I could find them easier during use. Once the prostate massager is in place inside me I can’t see the buttons (not that flexible unfortunately!!) so having some easy to locate buttons would be brilliant.
Out of ten I would give LELO LOKI Wave 9/10. Thanks LELO and Cara Sutra for this opportunity.
