Unboxing
My Womanizer OG Pleasure Air G-Spot Stimulator was sent in Lovehoney’s usual discreet outer wrapping for the post, while the toy itself was securely packaged inside the plain brown box.
The Womanizer OG box is presented in lilac and gold, with hygiene-reassurance seals. The door-style front opens to reveal the OG snugly cradled in a firm inner support, with a boxed side area containing related accessories. It comes with a linen drawstring storage pouch, the magnetic/USB charging lead and a couple of instruction/information leaflets.
There’s plenty of information about the Womanizer OG on the box, and it’s a good idea to have a look over this before you charge up then use the toy.
Instruction Manuals
There’s a cute masturbation positivity card which comes with the toy, as well as an instruction leaflet and another one with electronic safety/disposal information.
How To Charge Up
Charging up the Womanizer OG Pleasure Air G-Spot Stimulator is nice & easy with the included USB/magnetic charging lead.
The two metal nodes on the Womanizer branded magnetic end of the charging lead attach without any difficulty to the corresponding metal areas on the reverse/base of the toy.
Once that’s attached, just plug the other end into any USB port. I like to use the USB port on the side of my laptop in my home office, or the multi-USB to mains plug at the side of my bed. These are extremely useful and I strongly recommend everyone has at least one. You can buy them cheaply from Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.
The white LED by the power button on the base blinks as the toy is charging, changing to emit a steady glow once fully charged. It takes about 100 minutes to charge from zero, which provides a maximum of 120 minutes playtime.
Despite the Womanizer branding on the magnetic end of the lead which could help you identify it, I’d advise additionally labelling the charging lead in some way immediately upon unpackaging the product. After all, this may not be the only Womanizer product you own, and I don’t know if all their chargers are identical. Additional labelling means you can easily identify your Womanizer OG lead when it gets tossed into your drawer or box of charging leads.
I use my trusty DYMO labeller which is available from Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk for all my sex toy charging leads – and plenty of other things around the house, too.
Size
The Womanizer OG Pleasure Air G-Spot Stimulator measures 9.5 inches down its full length (not ‘as the crow flies’; the actual length of the product). The maximum insertable length is about 6 inches, but obviously you can choose to insert anywhere between 4.5 inches and the full 6 inches, depending on the exact depth of your G-spot. The head has a maximum circumference of 4 inches.
How To Operate & Settings
The Womanizer OG Pleasure Air G-Spot Stimulator offers various settings and features. You can use the Womanizer OG in ‘Smart Silence’ mode, or standard mode.
Smart Silence mode is the default, which means that upon switching the toy on, you won’t feel any motion until the toy is almost or actually touching your skin. This can be handy if you don’t want the toy to buzz into life until you’re actually using it; say, if you need to be extra discreet during masturbation or other pleasure sessions. It also helps preserve battery life, a valuable bonus feature for rechargeable sex toys.
To turn the Smart Silence mode off, press and hold the + and – buttons together for a few seconds while the toy is on. The vibrator will vibrate from then on, whether it’s touching your skin or not. To turn Smart Silence back on, repeat the process.
Let’s get started with the rest of the controls.
To switch the Womanizer OG on, to begin with, you need to press and hold the small power button on the base until a white LED illuminates. The + and – buttons increase and decrease the Pleasure Air ‘suction’ intensity (from the area within the head) respectively, while the small indented circular button above the + and – is to change up the vibration speed of the shaft of the toy.
There are 12 Pleasure Air intensity settings, and 3 vibration speeds to enjoy.
Womanizer OG also boasts an Afterglow feature. After orgasm or once you’re doing playing, you can quickly press the – button which reverts the sex toy back to its lowest settings, allowing you to relish those post-play embers without over-stimulation or having to switch the toy entirely off.
How It Feels
The amount of features provided by the Womanizer OG was a little intimidating at first. At least it doesn’t have Bluetooth connection/an app to control it, as I find those app-controlled sex toys especially intimidating – I feel as if I should spend a week revising the instruction manual before attempting to use it! It took a little working out to get the hang of the Womanizer OG Pleasure Air G-Spot Stimulator in all its glory, then once it felt familiar to me I could actually start to enjoy it.
Take the Smart Silence feature, for example. Once I worked out, with the help of the instruction leaflet, that I could turn it off or pop it back on, I was much less baffled than when I first turned it on and wondered if it was broken – and jumped out of my skin when it buzzed into life upon curling my fingers around the shaft.
(the Smart Silence tech is actually a brilliant feature, now I’ve got my head around it. Great for discretion and to prolong the battery.)
I had to then get straight in my head that the + and – buttons are to control the ‘Pleasure Air’ (suction from the G-spot caressing, spoon-like tip) technology, while the small circular indented button above them is to choose the vibrating speed of the rest of the shaft (3 levels). As a side note, that button to change the vibration speed is a little tricky to depress and use – especially once the toy is inside.
Turn the toy on by pressing and holding the button by the base til the light comes on, and make sure you turn the toy off after use by pressing and holding that button again.
Right, I was ready to begin.
The silicone material of the toy works best with a little of your favourite lube to avoid chafing or discomfort upon entry and during use, but the lube shouldn’t be dispensed into the suction part at the top of the toy – just around the rim if necessary.
During use I was impressed by the different style of sexual stimulation occurring deep within my vagina – a type of stimulation I’d only previously experienced with clitoral stim toys like the Womanizer Classic 2. I found the dramatic bend mid-shaft helped me to target my G-spot without any wrist-ache or other positional hassle.
As great as the internal stimulation is, with that intense and novel stimulation directly to my G-spot, I still require some external stim in order to reach orgasm. Although vaginal penetration is ok, it’s not my favourite type of sexual stim. This is a personal preference/individual anatomy thing, so your mileage will, as always, vary.
As an adventurous, technologically advanced, and intensely pleasurable upgrade to a classic vibrator or a dildo, the Womanizer OG delivers every time. It all comes down to whether you want to spend nearly £200 for this (admittedly consistent) experience, or whether you’d reach orgasm just as effectively with a much cheaper clitoral stim toy and optional vaginal vibrator or dildo.

The Womanizer OG has plenty to offer, there’s no doubt about that. This is an IPX7 waterproof, rechargeable, quiet, discreet, reliably adventurous and novel Pleasure Air G-Spot targeting sex toy with Smart Silence bonus feature.
I admire Womanizer for constantly trying to create new and exciting sex toys for universal appeal and to challenge the long-held standards in this competitive industry. This is a trustworthy brand who regularly receive peer-recognised awards as well as independent reviewer acclaim. Their clitoral stim toys always give me an orgasm, guaranteed.
All this said, the Womanizer OG Pleasure Air G-Spot Stimulator was surprisingly disappointing. It feels like it has more novelty appeal than actual, useful effectiveness – especially considering that WOW price tag. It unfortunately wasn’t matched with a WOW pleasure session, it was just… okay. And for almost £200 I want to be wowed every single time. If I’d bought this sex toy for the recommended retail price, I would have been impressed and swept away by the hype and packaging, only to be ultimately disappointed when my pleasure sessions didn’t live up to the hype.
