Packaging
My Womanizer Marilyn Monroe Classic 2 Special Edition arrived in Lovehoney’s usual discreet and well-packaged brown box for the post, while the clitoral stimulator itself is housed in an eye-catching, sleekly designed box.
There’s a window to the front where you can instantly see your new sex toy, and plenty of information on the sides, base and rear so you can read all about the thrilling features it offers as well as some background about the Womanizer company.
The box opens with a magnetic fasten ‘door’ to reveal some more information next to the front window, and there are two hygiene-seal stickers to cut through before you can access the box contents from this point on.

Despite not being an insertable sex toy, I thought you might like to know that the Womanizer Marilyn Monroe measures 6 inches in length and is approximately 2 inches across at the widest point.
Charging Up
How do you charge up the Womanizer Marilyn Monroe? It’s easy – just use the included USB/magnetic charging lead. The magnetic area connects easily and firmly to the metallic points towards the base of the clitoral stimulator, with the other end of the lead plugged into a USB port of your choice.
I use the ports on my laptop when in my office at home, or in the bedroom I have multi-USB to mains plugs which are so handy for charging sex toys or a variety of tech devices. Operation
There are three buttons on the fascia of the Womanizer Marilyn Monroe, besides the two magnetic charge points. One is the main power on/off button, the others are + and – to increase or decrease the speed respectively.
Turn the toy on by pressing the power button for 2 seconds; turn it off the same way.

The Review: How It Feels!
Much like previous Womanizer sex toys I’ve tried, the Womanizer Marilyn Monroe didn’t disappoint when it came to giving me a fast, strong clitoral orgasm. I’m a huge fan of clitoral stimulation as long-time Cara Sutra blog readers will know, and this clit stim toy is gasp-inducingly brilliant at sending my clitoris from asleep to rocket-launch-with-a-fireworks-display in under 60 seconds.
That’s right, it took me less than a minute to bring myself to a powerful orgasm with the Womanizer Marilyn Monroe Special Edition. That was a simple case of challenging the toy, and myself, to see just how fast I could get there. Let’s talk about the Marilyn Monroe branding. In recent times we have seen the rise of celebrities lending their name, their brand, to various items for sale in the retail marketplace -and the sex toy world is no different. For example, Womanizer previously brought out their Liberty design with Lily Allen’s official approval and branding.
Despite Marilyn Monroe sadly not being with us anymore, and therefore unable to give her personal seal of approval to this Womanizer special edition, the box confirms that all the Marilyn Monroe branding, mentions, image and signature have been used with the permission of the official estate of Marilyn Monroe. Therefore, I have no issue with this aspect of the toy.
The side of the box provides a relevant quote from Marilyn: “What is important is how you feel about yourself.” And I certainly do feel amazing about myself after using the Womanizer Marilyn Monroe, so I guess there is some relevance there!
Whether or not you’re a fan of Marilyn, or whether you feel the branding is relevant or appropriate, doesn’t affect how brilliant this sex toy is at providing fast and intense clitoral orgasms. Furthermore, the branding is confined to the box -so if you decide to dispose of the box, you wouldn’t know you have a Marilyn Monroe Special Edition sex toy at all. There’s no mention of Marilyn on the toy itself or the storage pouch.
Don’t worry that you’ll be paying more for this celebrity branding either – the price is the same whether you opt for the unbranded Womanizer Classic 2, or the Marilyn Monroe Special Edition. The choice is completely yours.
In Conclusion
For Marilyn Monroe and clitoral stimulation fans alike, the Womanizer Marilyn Monroe Classic 2 Special Edition is a winner.
