Delivery was swift and discreet, with fulfilment by Amazon Logistics to me in the United Kingdom, so absolutely no eyebrows were raised amongst the neighbours or other members of my household.
The Uberlube Good-to-Go Traveler Set comes in an elegant glossy card outer, cleverly designed to securely hold the travel canister and glass vial of lube which are visible through the front. The sturdy card surround keeps it simple with the Uberlube logo and product description on the front, with further product information on the back.
The package opens at the top, then you simply slide out the inner card section which has held the contents securely through transit and delivery. This minimal packaging is card and therefore recyclable.
My Choice
When purchasing Uberlube, I decided to get the Uberlube Good-to-Go Traveler Set instead of the signature bottle for a few reasons. As referenced at the outset, I do not typically go for silicone-based as my first choice when I need sex lube, but it does have its uses. Therefore, I didn’t need loads of the stuff, this small container is the perfect size.
Another reason is the price. This set is only £14, and you can buy refills for the outer canister at £7 per refill (they come in a pack of 2, that is £14 for a double refill pack). Plus, it is summer right now and travels are on my mind. When packing for a dirty weekend or simply for after the kids have gone to bed on our family holiday, the Good-to-Go Traveler is perfectly portable, discreet and feels safe, secure and leak-proof in my luggage.
I chose Chaise Longue Green as my canister colour option, well, it is actually spelled ‘chaise lounge green’ at Uberlube, which is the American alteration of the French term. This rich, jewel-tone green really appealed to me, which was a surprise as I would usually opt for red or black whenever I have a choice in product colours. I think the green looks so sleek and elegant.

Inserting the Lube into the Canister
It is easy to insert the glass vial of Uberlube into the travel-friendly canister. Simply remove the canister lid, push the Uberlube refill into it (making sure you have removed the shrink-wrapped plastic from around the dispensing area first), pushing down on the ‘neck’ to ensure it is fully in the canister, then replace the lid.
Easy to Dispense
As you can see in my review video on this page, it is so easy to dispense the silicone lube using the Uberlube Good-to-Go Traveler Set, I can even do it one-handed.
I love that it is so easy to dispense, and you can get just a little bit at a time, no worries about dispensing far more than you wanted, or the lube going everywhere, making a big, slippery, difficult to clean up mess. This is especially important when it comes to silicone lube, as it can stain sheets and clothing. The dispensation method, using the pump top with the glass bottle in the outer canister, removes these worries and keeps everything fuss-free.
Convenient for Travel
Because this set is specifically designed to be perfect to travel with, it is ultra convenient no matter where or how you might want to utilise the silicone lube. The unbranded canister is very discreet no matter where you choose to store it, in your handbag, glove compartment, cosmetics case, bathroom cabinet or bedside table. Unlike many sex lubes, which can contain a long list of puzzling chemicals, Uberlube contains just four ingredients, three types of silicone, and vitamin E for skin conditioning and moisturising benefits.
Uberlube’s ingredients are Dimethicone, Dimethiconol, Cyclomethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E).
This lubricant is vegan-friendly, not tested on animals, does not contain water, glycerin, parabens, preservatives, fragrance or flavourings. Uberlube is also latex-safe (compatible with most condoms* and dental dams), non-sticky, incredibly long-lasting and can even be used as a massage oil, anti-frizz hair serum or tattoo conditioner.
Formulation
Ok, so we know lube is slippery. Well, it is supposed to be slippery. Have you ever had a lube that was less slippery, and more instantly-turns-into-glue? Ugh. Happy to report that Uberlube silicone lube is not only sublimely sliptastic in the slippery stakes, it is also not gloopy, gluey, greasy or otherwise rubbish as a lube at all. Uberlube provides endless, effortless glide. The slide only stops when you are good and ready, and you wash it off, and not one second before.
This is not a thick and viscous, heavy-landing splat type lubricant, so if that is what you are after, head somewhere else. Probably the anal sex lubes section of your fave sex shop, or somewhere that sells those lubes that look like jizz. Uberlube is crystal clear, scent-free, easy to dispense and instantly slippery between your fingers and anywhere you put it. It is thin without being so thin it is runny, it really is just silicone lube simplicity in an elegant dispenser.
During Use
I find Uberlube a fantastic compromise for me personally, because I love how easy and fabric-safe water-based lubes are, but I am always coveting the endless glide of silicone lube. The appeal of the Good-to-Go travel set in particular is not limited to the beautiful silicone lubricant formulation inside the bottle; how it is stored and dispensed adds immeasurably to its ongoing intimate pleasure value.
Thanks to the discreet look of the canister, I do not have to worry about storing it secretively in the bedroom or putting it away carefully after use, no matter where I am.
