The Grinder by Bondara Vibrating Sex Toy Review
When Bondara asked if I’d like to try a completely new type of sexual stimulation device, I was instantly intrigued. Over my 14 years reviewing sex toys, it isn’t often that I’ve discovered a product which is genuinely new, revolutionary, and effective. Would Bondara’s new sex toy simply be another attempt to ‘reinvent the wheel’? I had no idea what I’d soon be receiving in the post, which was exciting. Finally, the discreetly wrapped parcel arrived at my door. I hastily unwrapped it to reveal The Grinder by Bondara Vibrating Sex Toy, in a fancy Bondara gift box, along with a bottle of Bondara Slip ‘n Slide Aqua Lube.
I have the ‘purple’ version (it looks pink to me, however the box says it’s purple); it’s also available in black.

Packaging / Unboxing
The outer packaging for dispatch & post was discreet and secure as usual from Bondara. Inside the outer box, I found a Bondara gift box which contained the Grinder by Bondara, a bottle of Bondara Slip ‘n Slide Aqua Lube and a note from the team.
Unboxing
The Grinder by Bondara was housed in its own Bondara-branded box, snugly contained in moulded plastic. I also found its wireless remote control and a jackpin/USB charging lead along with the sex toy. This vibrating Grinder toy is made from body-safe silicone, while the remote control is made of plastic with silicone buttons.
Bondara Slip ‘n Slide Aqua Lube
Along with the Grinder by Bondara, the team kindly sent me a bottle of their Bondara Slip ‘n Slide Aqua Lube to try as well. This water-based sex lubricant comes in a transparent bottle, with a pump dispenser style cap, which contains 100ml of slippery lube. It costs just £8.99 from the Bondara sex toy shop.
It’s a good idea to use some lube when using the stimulating, vibrating Grinder toy, as it’s made from silicone and features ridges which could lead to uncomfortable chafing rather than stimulation if you ride it dry.
This lube was a welcome addition to my Grinder playtimes, and even after several sessions I have plenty left. It’s thick enough to dispense and use where I like, without being too thick to use easily. It’s slippery without being runny and adds a delicious glide during masturbation and sex, with or without sex toys. There’s no discernible smell to it and it felt skin-kind when I’ve used it. The lube lasted through even intense sex sessions without fully evaporating, but if you do need another dot or two it’s easy to dispense.
Bondara Slip ‘n Slide Aqua Lube is water-based therefore compatible with any sex toy material and suitable for any type of masturbation or sex session. It doesn’t affect me, but I know it can be an issue for some.

Instructions / Guides
There are no instructions provided with The Grinder by Bondara Vibrating Sex Toy, either by way of a leaflet with the product or on the box. However, the product page at Bondara gives plenty of information and usage recommendations, so I strongly advise you to check that out. Also, there’s a lot of fun to be had simply exploring ways in which you can enjoy the Grinder by yourself, without any preconceived ideas of what you should be doing with it. Charging Up
Charging The Grinder by Bondara Vibrating Sex Toy is easy thanks to the included jackpin/USB charging lead. Just insert the jackpin in the port for it on the back of the Grinder, and the other end into any USB port.
I like to use the USB port on the side of my laptop in my home office, or the multi-USB to mains plug at the side of my bed. These are extremely useful and I strongly recommend everyone has at least one. You can buy them cheaply from Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.

Because it’s so easy to lose charging/power leads, especially when you have a lot of tech and a wire isn’t pre-labelled in any way, I’d advise labelling the charging lead immediately upon unpackaging the product. This means you can easily identify The Grinder by Bondara charging wire when it gets tossed into your drawer or box of charging leads.
I use my trusty DYMO labeller which is available from Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk for all my sex toy charging leads – and to label plenty of other things around the house, too.
Remote Control
The wireless remote control for The Grinder comes pre-linked to the toy, so you don’t have to worry about any Bluetooth or WiFi technology. It’s powered by a cell battery, CR2032 3V. This type of battery has a long life, but they’re also easily obtainable online ready for when it does eventually run out. I usually have a supply of various types cheaply bought from Amazon.com/Amazon.co.uk.
Operation / Controls
There’s a button on the toy itself, near the charging port, as well as three buttons on the remote control.
To power on the toy, you need to press and hold the button on the back of the Grinder. Then you can either keep pressing to discover the settings, or switch to the remote control. The controller has up and down arrow buttons with which you can increase or decrease the intensity.
When playtime is over, just press and hold the power button on the remote to stop the vibration. You will also need to press and hold the power button on the back of the toy to switch the product off fully.

How It Feels
The vibrations provided by The Grinder by Bondara are more high frequency than deep and rumbly. This isn’t a mains-powered toy and it doesn’t have a huge motor inside, therefore it doesn’t give the same whopping amount of power that a mains wand vibe does, for example. That said, for the size of The Grinder and how flexible, versatile and easily operated it is, it gives amply powerful vibration to stimulate in a variety of masturbation and sex situations.
For example, I’ve enjoyed using The Grinder by Bondara:
