SpareParts Bella Lingerie Harness Review

The SpareParts Bella Lingerie Harness was sent to me free of charge in exchange for a fair and honest review. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with this strap on. It’s not made of straps for a start, so can hardly be called a traditional harness. It is closer in style to the jockey brief style of the RodeoH and Liberator Valkyrie Thong Strap-On Harness; a panty or knickers underwear with a front area through which a penetrative sex toy can be secured.

What’s Included

The SpareParts HardWear Bella Strap-On Harness doesn’t simply give you a pair of pants with a hole in the front though. Far from it. Firstly there’s the presentation. Bella comes in a black lidded box, which can be used as a storage box for this or other accessories, secured with a small and easily disposed of cardboard sleeve.

Removing the sleeve and opening the box I found the elegance of black tissue paper discreetly obscuring and protecting the contents. Within this final flourish I found the main event, the SpareParts HardWear Bella Strap-On Harness, as well as a netted laundry bag, 4 attachable suspender clasps and the cutest storage bag for a strap on panty ever. It feels like microfiber and looks like an evening clutch. I would have no qualms about using it as an evening bag either.

The idea of taking my strap on panty out in its own storage bag which doubled as an evening bag really tickled me. Got everything? Phone – check. Keys – check. Strap on panty – check.

Panty & Included Bags

I prefer to use the SpareParts HardWear Bella Strap-On Harness without stockings or the clasps, so popping them into my lingerie drawer I concentrated my attentions on the panty and two bags (laundry and storage).

The laundry bag is simple enough – pop the panty in and wash at 40 degrees. It’s also hand washable.

The storage bag (the beautiful storage bag) opens with a zip under the lace decorated flap at the front and there is a hidden buttoned inner area too. A neat idea for hiding away a couple of condoms, a couple of sachets of lube and a lipstick.

Material & Comfort

The SpareParts HardWear Bella Strap-On Harness is just as easy, comfortable and glamorous in use. Pull on as a normal panty and either wear as usual underwear underneath clothing – albeit ready at any time for spontaneous pegging action – or choose it specifically to team with your choice of dildo to secure through the front. The SpareParts HardWear Bella Strap On Harness is compatible with flared base dildos or other sex toys designed for use with strap-ons.

The waist band is deceptive as it seems as light and graceful as the rest of the typically feminine panty. However it’s wider than a normal panty band and helps to keep the panty in position even with the weight of a dildo through the front and vigorous thrusting action.

Rear Peek

Unlike a builder’s crack that you might see of a morning at your local greasy spoon, the SpareParts HardWear Bella Strap-On Harness offers a more sensual aspect of butt cleavage. Perhaps a more feminine (and less hairy or dust-filled) crevice. Apart from the infamous whale tails (low jeans, high thong backs) of the early 00s, Bella provides the first positive and sexually related mention of butt cleavage I’ve seen.

The back of the panty has a gift style bow as well as a keyhole opening designed to flash the booty and add to your sex appeal – not that your pegging partner will be looking at your butt while you’re thrusting into their sexual regions (unless you have some rather strategically placed mirrors).

There’s a hole at the front of the SpareParts HardWear Bella Strap-On Harness through which your choice of harness compatible dildo can be pulled through. It securely fits sex toys between 1.25–2.25 inches (3.17–5.71 cm) in diameter.

Internal Pocket

On the inside of the SpareParts HardWear Bella Strap-On Harness, behind this hole, there is an overlap of mesh material which means you don’t have the end of the dildo directly against your skin (unless you want it). This area also doubles as a pocket in which you can place bullet vibrators or panty vibes.

For most basic flared  base dildos you can cover up the silicone, PVC or other material with the panty mesh and this adds to your comfort. For dildos which have a larger area at the base, such as those with balls or different shape toys you might find that the mesh doesn’t cover the end entirely.

During Use

This was the case with my Bondara Mr Realist Dildo – not that I minded having to keep my balls in my pants. I found it quite arousing.

I didn’t just use the SpareParts HardWear Bella Strap-On Harness to hold regular harness compatible dildos either. It formed a secure harness for me to use the Fun Factory Sharevibe which has a bulb that I enjoy vaginally while the external probe fits through the hole made for it on Bella. I have a small wand vibrator called the Luoge Jade Stick Wand Vibrator, the head of which fits perfectly through Bella’s opening, meaning I can enjoy that wand vibrator’s stimulation to my clitoris hands-free.

Summary

I feel incredibly sexy when wearing the SpareParts HardWear Bella Strap-On Harness. It’s also fun and easy to use, keeping the dildo secure and never feeling like it’s about to fall off or require readjusting mid session. It’s not the typical bright pink as many female targeted products are, nor is it adamantly blue or eye-poppingly neon. Black never goes out of fashion.

Teamed with the lace covered areas, the rear gift bow, booty flash opening and stretchy spandex material this is a winning addition to my lingerie and sex toys collection. There’s no straps or buckles to get in the way, chafe or do up – it’s as easy to wear and use as everyday underwear.
