Fun Factory ShareVibe Rechargeable Silicone Vibrator Review
Thanks to the lovely team at Fun Factory, I recently received a beautiful bundle of sex toys free of charge in exchange testing them and writing up reviews here at Cara Sutra. I received the brand new Sharevibe in bright pink, the B Balls anal toy in purple and the Boss Stub dildo in black. I also received some samples of their sex lube, Toy Fluid. Today I’m going to be taking you through my thoughts and experiences with the Fun Factory Sharevibe.
All the Fun Factory sex toys I’ve tried and tested come in immediately recognisable packaging. There’s a glossy outer card box which is colourful and bright, over an inner gold colour box which houses the specific sex toy. Each toy also comes with a little instruction leaflet which also contains details about other relevant products from the Fun Factory range.
You can use the Fun Factory Sharevibe in several ways, making it a very versatile sex toy which required plenty of testing. A tough job, but somebody has to do it. Here are the ways I’ve discovered using the Sharevibe to good effect:
- I can put the plug end inside myself vaginally and use the external dildo on a female or male partner, as a strapless strap on.
- I can use the Sharevibe for masturbation sessions, putting the long or short plug end inside myself vaginally then using the external are as a handle. The vibrations near the bend provide clitoral stimulation.
- The longer shaft can be used anally with the plug style end kept external and used as a handle. The vibrations can be felt stimulating the perineum area.
The Fun Factory Sharevibe is available in purple, caramel and pink, which is the colour I have. It measures (by my own measurements) 8.5 inches in overall length with a maximum circumference of 5 inches (the shorter shaft). The insertable length of the longer shaft is 5.5 inches and the shorter one is 3.5 inches.
Made from silky smooth silicone, the Fun Factory Sharevibe looks and feels luxurious and warms to your body temperature quickly. It also works well with lubricant.
Before use, the Fun Factory Sharevibe needs charging up. This is done via the USB and magnetic charging lead which comes in the box with the product. The Fun Factory logo is seen on the disc end which has two metal nodes. This connects magnetically with two corresponding metal nodes on the base of the vibrating bullet area of the Sharevibe. The other end is plugged into any USB port.
The vibrating bullet which gives the Sharevibe its vibrating stimulus is removeable from the silicone body. It has 5 functions (constant vibration, a pulse reminiscent of machine-gun fire, dot-dot-dot pulse, descending pulse and a fast then slowing pulse) which restart from the first function no matter which one you turn it off from. You can press and hold the Fun Factory logo embossed button to turn it off, or if you scroll through all five patterns you will find that the sixth setting is ‘off’ as well. I can easily orgasm by using the bullet alone, for clitoral stimulation. It’s powerful enough even for a sex toy veteran and bullet vibrator addict like me.
Using a strapless strap on does require extremely strong pelvic floor muscles. It takes lots of practice to hold the bulb of a strapless strap on even while just standing, never mind while thrusting in and out of a female or male partner. I find it even more difficult to keep it in position with my male partner, as anal sex tends to be naturally stiffer than vaginal as the anal entrance is much tighter. I found during use that I had to hold it in place a lot of the time by the area underneath, where the bullet protrudes to allow access to the control button.
I found a great solution to this issue by using the Fun Factory Sharevibe with my Bella panty harness, but I realise not everyone has one of these. In any case you’re meant to be able to use the Sharevibe without having to hold on to it all the time. It is going to take a lot more practice, as it’s been quite some time since regular Tantus Feeldoe use with female lovers.
The vibration does come through the internally held plug very well and my partner says it’s also incredibly intense when felt through the external dildo, which I can confirm as I’ve used that end too. We prefer to use a condom over the external dildo when pegging anally, so that any nasty smells don’t linger on the material. It makes it easier to clean as well.
As a couples sex toy the Fun Factory Sharevibe offers a wide variety of options, such as female to male pegging, lesbian sex, female masturbation using either end, female masturbation using the bullet alone and using the bullet during couples foreplay & sex. With this in mind I believe the Sharevibe is a fantastic addition to the toy box and represents great value for money. It will hold appeal for so many different couples and individuals and is made with a body safe, sumptuously smooth material too. The bullet vibrator is powerful enough to get me to orgasm and is easy to use. The entire toy is waterproof and feels like a reliable, well made product which will last for years.
