Packaging & What’s In The Box
My new ROMP Pulse Rabbit came in discreet outer packaging for the post, and the toy itself comes housed in colourful, well-designed packaging which gives you some idea of what the rabbit looks like and its various features. It’s hygienically sealed too, which is always a welcome touch.
Inside the box I found my new dual-stim toy in a moulded plastic cradle, the USB charging wire, a quick-start guide and safety information.

Design & Pleasure Air Explained
This is no ordinary rabbit vibrator. It’s a dual-stim sex toy, sure; but the ROMP Pulse Rabbit offers Pleasure Air stim for your clitoris as well as vaginal vibrations from the internal shaft.
Most rabbit vibrators deliver vibration through the internal arm and the external, clitoris-stimulating arm or bunny ears. The ROMP Pulse offers something different, which is brilliant if you either want to try or already know you love Pleasure Air stimulation clitorally.
What is Pleasure Air technology? It’s a contactless air-pulse through a nozzle with an internal flap design. The end result, when the nozzle is over your clitoris, is a sensation similar to suction or sucking. Some people find it mimics the sensation of oral sex, although the consistency and the ability to have very fast and very strong suction means Pleasure Air can be orgasmically effective even for those who don’t usually orgasm through oral sex. Two separate motors run the two sensations from the ROMP Pulse Rabbit, so you can mix and match the internal vibrations and the clitoral air pulsing to suit your desires.
This unusual rabbit sex toy is made from body-safe silicone material for complete peace of mind during use. It’s also fun to look at, with its chunky, alluring curves and shimmering purple with baby pink base colouring. It feels delicious slipping into place with some good quality water-based lube.
Size & Measurements
The ROMP Pulse Rabbit measures, by my measurements:
- Total length: 9 inches
- Insertable length: 5 inches
- Maximum circumference of the internal shaft: 4.75 inches
- Distance between the internal shaft and the external arm nozzle: about an inch
- Distance between where the external arm meets the internal shaft to the centre of the clitoral nozzle: about 1.5 inches
I’d say that by size and weight this is a standard size rabbit vibrator which isn’t intimidating, unwieldy or too heavy for most people. On my scales the ROMP Pulse Rabbit weighs 128g.
Charging Up
Charging the ROMP Pulse is simple with the included USB cable, so you can plug it into any USB port or a USB-to-mains adaptor. The wire has a jackpin end that pushes into the small port for it on the back of the rabbit. Whilst charging, blue LEDs behind the control buttons on the front slowly blink.
From zero, it takes approximately 130 minutes to fully charge, which provides up to 70 minutes of playtime.
Controls & Settings
Operation is simple, thanks to the two buttons on the handle. They’re raised so it was easy to locate them even with the ROMP Pulse Rabbit inside me. As I’ve mentioned, the two parts of the toy can be operated independently, so I could have either the internal or the external part on, or the internal arm on a certain vibrating setting whilst the external clitoral stimulating part was on whatever setting I opted for there.
There are five levels of Pleasure Air (air-pulse) intensity, operated by the top button, and three speeds and seven patterns of vibration available through the internally worn shaft, operated by the bottom button.

How It Feels During Use
At first, the ROMP Pulse Rabbit felt divine. Absolutely gorgeous sliding into position along with a splash of water-based lube. The size, contours and material of that vaginal shaft meant it glided into place superbly, and I was so excited to experience not just thrilling internal pleasure, but clitoral suction similar to my beloved Womanizer sex toys at the same time.
Unfortunately, I have to report that the ROMP Pulse Rabbit didn’t work well for me. I’ve tried it so many times, hoping it was simply a failing on my part, perhaps my body just wasn’t playing ball that day or whatever. I’ve given it every chance. But this sex toy just doesn’t match well with my unique anatomy. And I want to reiterate that my disappointment is down to the toy not fitting my anatomy well, which is a personal issue rather than any specific product failing. Perhaps on another body, everything would align perfectly and orgasmically.
Firstly, the internal arm. It isn’t curved enough to give me that G-spot stim promised by ROMP Toys. Maybe it will for your body. For me, I need it waaayyyyy more angled inside. The ROMP Pulse Rabbit features more of a gentle angle and a bulging shaft. Which is, you know, nice… but doesn’t translate to a G-spotting toy for me personally. If precise G-spot stimulation is what you’re after, it’s worth knowing what to look for in G-spot sex toys.
Secondly, the positioning of the external, clitorally stimulating Air Pulse part. With the rabbit slid completely into me, as it should be during use, the nozzle isn’t comfortably over my clitoris. On my anatomy, I needed the nozzle to be facing more upwards on me, rather than angled as it is. This led to some awkward struggles to get the clitoral nozzle over my clit so I could benefit from the Air Pulse stimulation, while the internal arm was being yanked about and out of its correct position. It reminded me of my early explorations with rabbit vibrators, when I was convinced that simply none of them would ever work with me. Happily, since then, I have found many rabbit vibrators that feel wonderful for me and my anatomy. The ROMP Pulse, however, isn’t on that list.
The build quality, materials, features etc of the ROMP Pulse Rabbit are wonderful, so it’s a real shame it doesn’t work in practice for my body. The vibrations of the internal arm were another small disappointment; they were pleasurable enough, but not knock-your-socks-off powerful. I wouldn’t have minded this as much if the positioning of the clit stim part was perfect on me, but on top of that disappointment it’s just sadly another mark against it.
As such, whether the ROMP Pulse Rabbit is worth adding to your collection comes down to whether the shape and positioning will be right on your unique anatomy. Which is something hard to determine from online images and reviews. All I can do is give you the measurements of it and my findings in this thorough review, then let you make up your own mind. I’m sure this has been a successful, orgasmic sex toy for many other people. Sadly, it just wasn’t my personal experience.

Clit, G-Spot & Blended Orgasms
In theory, the ROMP Pulse Rabbit is perfect for blended orgasms. Internal, vaginal vibration and clitoral Pleasure Air working in tandem to give you the powerful blended orgasm of your dreams. When you find a sex toy with the right shape for you, or perhaps two (or more!) sex toys at the same time delivering separate, distinct stimulation to different parts of the body, the resulting blended orgasm is mind-blowingly spectacular in my experience. Unforgettable. That’s what makes dual-motor and dual-style rabbits like this so appealing.
It’s just a shame the ROMP Pulse Rabbit’s parts don’t align with my body comfortably and as intended, so the blended orgasm experience remained theoretical on this occasion. But they’re definitely possible and worth chasing, with the right toys and stimulation methods for you.
Noise & Waterproofing
There’s audio on the operation part of my ROMP Pulse Rabbit review video, viewable further up this page, so you’ll be able to hear how it sounds during use. The sound over video is louder than it is during use, because when the rabbit vibrator is inside the vagina, those sounds are muffled. I was impressed by how quiet the Air Pulse technology is too; on older toys with this style of stimulation, there was sometimes a loud juddering or ratcheting type of noise which was a little worrying in a shared home or if discretion during use was priority. But with the ROMP Pulse Rabbit, the sound is reassuringly subtle and gentle. Sometimes it’s difficult for me to even tell that part has switched on, it’s that quiet.
I love that the toy is fully waterproof too. I wish every sex toy was! The ROMP Pulse Rabbit is IPX7 waterproof, which means it’s submersible in water, and can be submerged in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes, in fact. So, not only is it easy to thoroughly wash after use, in a sink full of soapy water, you can enjoy it in the bath or shower without worry.

Final Verdict
The ROMP Pulse Rabbit is a wonderful idea for a dual stim toy. Bright and funky, body-safe, affordable, internal vibrations plus Pleasure Air suction-style clitoral stim. It’s currently priced at £44.99 which, if the toy ends up working with your anatomy, is a very decent price for such an ingenious and well-made sex toy. But that’s the risk you take, I suppose. Will the ROMP Pulse fit your anatomy well, or will it be a bit of a fail when it comes to the clitoral nozzle lining up during use, as it was for me?
On paper, as well as just out of the box, the ROMP Pulse Rabbit is perfect. Acceptable price, silicone, glimmering funky purple colour, waterproof, rechargeable, multi-function, multi stim style, quiet during use, lightweight, easy to operate.
The final fit and feel will depend on your body rather than the build quality or features of this rabbit toy. One doesn’t fit all, I’m living proof of that. Unless my anatomy is entirely different to that of every single other person out there with a vulva, which whilst possible, feels unlikely.
I also prefer fiercer vibrations vaginally than the internal arm of the ROMP Pulse Rabbit was able to offer. Again, this is a personal preference thing; I know many people get on just fine with milder vibes. They were pleasant enough, just didn’t blow me away.
Hence my final score for the ROMP Pulse Rabbit of 6/10. If the clit nozzle had been placed perfectly for my body, it would likely have scored 8/10. It still wouldn’t score full marks due to the lack of power in those internally felt vibrations.
