After reviewing plenty of wonderfully weird Nothosaur fantasy dildos, we opted for something a little different this time. And this sex toy is so different, you could say it’s out of this world. Welcome to our Nothosaur Toys Vortima Masturbator review, where I’ll be sharing all the tentacle-texture details of this monster fantasy stroker. Did this Lovecraftian cock toy slither out of an eldritch ocean and make my husband’s otherworldly wank dreams come true, or is this silicone stroker destined for abandonment on the sands of time? Let’s take a closer look – and I mean real close – at this unapologetically bold and bizarre masturbator.

Nothosaur Toys Vortima MasturbatorDelivery & Packaging
As usual, Nothosaur Toys delivery of my sex toy was swift and discreet. Our new Nothosaur Toys Vortima Masturbator was in a plain brown outer box, which was inside plastic wrapping to protect it from the weather, rough handling etc during transit.
Inside the box, the Vortima was immediately visible through the front of Nothosaur’s recognisable sealed pouch, which is their standard packaging for their sex toys. You can see the toy through the front; the back of the bag is opaque black with the Nothosaur logo central.
I also received a monster-design Nothosaur storage bag with Vortima, which was welcome. I love the design of these bags; the monster is so cute! It doesn’t explicitly state ‘Nothosaur’ or ‘sex toys’ either, so you could use their storage bags for anything you want, really.

What’s in the Box
Inside the postal box you get the Nothosaur Toys Vortima Masturbator in the sealed plastic bag which Nothosaur Toys use for all their products as far as I’m aware. As mentioned above, I also received a fabric storage pouch which was big enough to store the masturbator in.
I assume that when you buy any Nothosaur fantasy masturbators you receive a storage bag big enough to store it in.
First Impressions
Lust at first sight, love at first feel. If you think it looks fantastic, you should get your hands on the actual product. It’s so incredibly tactile, and we couldn’t wait to put the Nothosaur Vortima fantasy stroker to the test.
Vortima is pretty much the same size as any regular Fleshlight masturbators, without the cumbersome outer canister. It’s open-ended, making it simple to use and easy to clean. We hoped the open-ended style would stop the common issue of loud squelching noises and unwanted suction that we’ve experienced in the past with other, closed-end cock strokers.

How It Feels During Use
The Nothosaur Vortima Masturbator is a wondrous, orgasmic sensation. Sadly, I don’t have the required anatomy to use Vortima as intended, so it was over to my husband to fully enjoy this one. I say ‘as intended’ as Vortima is sold as a penis masturbator, but I’ve been adventurous and experimented with filling the central space with a dildo then using it as a vulva grinder, which is intensely arousing. So just, you know, putting it out there, in case you’re also part of a couple who enjoys sharing sex toys or using them in different ways.
Watching him use Vortima was delicious enough, and I was just watching. For him, sliding into the alluring, tentacle-texture wonder was mind-blowing. It’s such a kinky design, all eldritch and otherworldly, and we both have a thing for tentacles in any case, which helps. Take a look at my Nothosaur ALLA review to see what I mean. Vortima is an easy and accessible way to bring those alien, oceanic beast fantasies to life. Like it’s the mysterious, enticing orifice of some faceless, nameless creature from the abyss.
Before sliding into Vortima he needed to get hard and apply lube. Both of those were easy to achieve – and once the rim and just inside the entrance of the toy was lubed up, and he was erect and ready, we settled into our tentacle stroker fantasy realisation. For a little while he used it on himself, mainly concentrating on his exposed cock tip and frenulum, the most sensitive areas. I could tell that although the small, sucker-texture covering the internal length was stimulating to his shaft, nuzzling his tip around the lubed entrance then sliding his exposed tip into the hole to feel that texture around the fren was really where it was at. His gasps and low moans were getting me incredibly aroused too, and I just had to get involved, instead of remaining a voyeur.
Taking hold of Vortima and releasing his fingers so he could simply lay back and enjoy, I worked the monster sleeve over his thrusting cock. Thanks to the open-ended style there were no loud squelches and uncomfortable suction moments from any vacuum seal; we could just enjoy the fantasy texture on the outside and inside of the sleeve as it delivered its intense sensation. And that sensation isn’t just physical; there’s a psychological layer from the otherworldly creature, mystery orifice design, too. I would have liked some cum lube from the outset rather than plain water-based lube, but I’m just greedy for total sensory stimulation.

Because there’s no outer canister like with Fleshlights, we found the Nothosaur Vortima stroker easier to keep hold of during use and more comfortable thanks to the lighter overall weight. The external tentacle-texture silicone material helps with grip, even when the toy is lubed up. It also dries more easily and more quickly thanks to its through-hole – Fleshlight sleeves do usually have a hole at the end, but it’s much smaller – and the internal canal is more snug, meaning drying takes a while.

We’ve enjoyed several intensely arousing and ultimately explosively orgasmic sessions with the Nothosaur Toys Vortima Masturbator. Absolutely no hesitation recommending this to anyone looking for a body-safe, silicone cock stroker with a tentacle-texture and creature from the deep aesthetics, to bring your perverted monster fucking fantasies to life.
As a side note, we love that Vortima is made from silicone instead of a lower-quality material. You don’t see enough cock strokers made from non-porous, body-safe silicone; they’re usually made from porous, degradable TPE or TPR.
Open-ended design in action
Cleaning, Safety & Storage
Because the Nothosaur Toys Vortima Masturbator is made from platinum silicone which is non-porous, and it has a through-hole/open-ended design, it’s sublimely easy to clean after use. Just run water through the messy internal area then submerge in warm, soapy water to clean thoroughly. We have a regularly refreshed tub of old toothbrushes and nail brushes which are ideal for cleaning these textured-surface sex toys thoroughly.
After washing it, dry with a clean towel and let it air dry through completely. Because Vortima is made from silicone, I found we didn’t need to apply a layer of cock sleeve renewing powder once it was dry, like we do to restore the silkiness of lower-quality masturbator materials such as TPE and TPR. Therefore, cleaning is quick, easy & hassle-free. Just rinse, wash thoroughly, pat dry and leave to air completely before storage. If it ever stays in storage long enough – it’s incredibly alluring! You can also give it a spritz of anti-bacterial sex toy cleaner for added peace of mind if you like.

My Review Video
In my Nothosaur Toys Vortima Masturbator review video below you can get more of a feel for the stroker, from packaging and unboxing, through to a close-up look at the monster stroker, how it responds gloriously to water-based lube and how it’s safe to submerge completely when giving it a thorough clean:
Comparison With Similar Products
I’ve reviewed a couple of Fleshlight’s fantasy strokers in the past: the Fleshlight Succu Dry and the Fleshlight DRAC Masturbator. Both toys play with supernatural themes, making them a fun pick for anyone who wants something spookier than the standard Fleshlight line-up.
The Succu Dry is a compact, cheeky take on a succubus-inspired stroker. It’s fun and discreet, but its scaled-down size and relatively tame texture don’t deliver the same level of intensity or visual drama as the Vortima. By contrast, the DRAC Fleshlight is a full-sized stroker with vampiric styling and a tighter canal that feels closer to Fleshlight’s traditional ribs and nodules.
The Nothosaur Vortima Masturbator is in a different dimension. It’s full-sized like the DRAC, but its tentacle-textured, open-ended canal makes the sensation less uniform and much wilder. If the Succu Dry was playful and the DRAC was brooding, the Vortima is simply otherworldly. Vortima has a different appeal than the Fleshlight Fantasy strokers; less defined or traditional monster and more elusive, eldritch & sinister creature from the depths.
Summary
The Nothosaur Toys Vortima Masturbator has quickly become a favourite in our collection. From the moment we unboxed it, the quality was clear – platinum silicone, a weighty feel, and a gloriously detailed tentacle-texture design. In use, it delivered an intense and otherworldly experience that was both physically stimulating and mentally immersive.
As it doesn’t have an outer canister, you can squeeze the sleeve as you slide it over your cock and really feel that delicious internal texture over your tip and down your shaft. The open-ended style made it practical as well as pleasurable, cutting down on loud noises during use and making post-nut clean-up nice & easy.
If you’re shopping for body-safe, fantasy cock masturbators that really lean into monster play, you need to try Nothosaur Vortima. Thank me later!

FAQ
Is the Nothosaur Toys Vortima Masturbator body-safe?
Yes. The Vortima is made from 100% platinum-cured silicone, which is non-porous, phthalate-free and completely body-safe. Unlike cheaper TPE or TPR strokers, silicone doesn’t degrade in the same way over time and doesn’t need renewing powder to stay silky.
What lubes should I use with it?
Water-based lubricant is the universally safe choice and the type Nothosaur Toys officially recommend. We’ve experimented with silicone lube on the Vortima without issues, but as with all silicone toys it’s best to stick with water-based if you want to be cautious and keep your warranty intact.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. Being solid silicone and open-ended, the Vortima is fully waterproof and safe to submerge in warm, soapy water for cleaning.
Does it fit all sizes?
The entrance measures around 1 inch unstretched and comfortably expands up to about 4 inches, so it should suit most penis sizes. Those who are especially thick or wide may find it a tighter fit, but the stretch of silicone makes it accommodating for the majority of users.
How easy is it to clean?
Very easy. Thanks to the open-ended design, you can simply rinse through with water, wash with soap or toy cleaner, then towel and air dry. No awkward closed canal to trap fluid, and no powdering required afterwards since it’s silicone.
