This review has taken me far too long to complete, as it’s one of my own sex toys which hasn’t been provided for the purpose of a review. It was added to my collection a good few years ago now, by using loyalty points when they were first launched at Lovehoney. I’ve waited to review it ever since, but there’s always something else to write! My review of the Njoy Pure Plugs Small kick-started this review into action; after all, I have used this Njoy Pure Wand Stainless Steel Dildo many, many times since first receiving it years ago.

I still have the box and outer sleeve the Pure Wand arrives in. It’s a hard shell box, with a padded, satin covered inner, making it perfect and safe for the Njoy Pure Wand Stainless Steel Dildo to be stored in between uses. It doesn’t clank against other sex toys this way, and you can store is discreetly under the bed, in a cupboard or at the bottom of the wardrobe.
First Impressions
I still remember my impressions of the Pure Wand when I received it. Sliding off the white cardboard slip sleeve I opened up the black case and there, gleaming decadently at me, lay the Njoy Pure Wand Stainless Steel Dildo positioned perfectly in that njoy pink coloured, tactile satin covered inner. Plucking it out of the box, I marvelled at the weight. I didn’t have a stone dildo at the time, so this was the first step up from a glass dildo, in terms of heavy weight, rigid and non-porous sex toys and materials.
Material & Design
The Njoy Pure Wand Stainless Steel Dildo is just so shiny, the polished stainless steel seamless and beautiful. As it has two ends, a smaller globe and a larger one, as well as the dramatic curved central stem, it isn’t immediately apparent whether there is one main purpose to it. The truth is, there isn’t. The scope for this sex toy is unbelievable. It can be used by men and women, so versatile enough for unisex use, as well as use for vaginal penetration, G-spot massage, as an anal sex toy or prostate massager. Since the launch, it has found fame as the sex toy of choice for female ejaculation practitioners.
I haven’t been able to squirt with the Njoy Pure Wand Stainless Steel Dildo yet, but then it’s extremely difficult to get me to squirt anyway so I think that says more about my physiology than the sex toy itself.
The inner of the curved stem is etched with the njoy logo, so you know you have the genuine article, the designer and best selling Pure Wand from the njoy range. Adds a tone of decadence to your sessions.
Measurements
- Total length: 7.5 inches across not including the curve, 11 inches tip to tip including curve.
- Middle stem: 6.8 inches measuring the inner curve.
- Maximum circumference of the large ball: 4.7 inches.
- Maximum circumference of the small ball: 3.1 inches.
How It Feels
Getting down to the important part: the use. Using the Njoy Pure Wand Stainless Steel Dildo is a dream, seriously. Apart from one thing: the weight. Shouldn’t have to say it really, but this is a solid steel sex toy, so be prepared for a mini work out when you use it. You may wish to be laying down too, standing up could lead to dropping it on your toes… less than arousing. If you drop it on tiles it is liable to break them too. The wand would be fine, I’m sure!
As this is a steel, non-porous sex toy, you can use any sex lubricant you like with it. So don’t worry or hold back; use water based, silicone, oil based lubes, hybrid… whichever one takes your fancy or is your favourite. If you’re already aroused and planning to use it for vaginal sex, you may find that you don’t need any additional lubrication; however for anal use (men and women) you will need at least a drop of lube. A drop is usually sufficient; the smooth metal surface distributes the lubricant very effectively.
Double-Ended Pleasure
I love the fact that this Pure Wand has two differently sized ends, so regardless of your experience with sex toys or your personal size, you can work up from the small end to the large end, or just continue using the large end as a handle.
I enjoy using the Njoy Pure Wand Stainless Steel Dildo vaginally and anally. I do decide how I want to use it before the play session, for instance I wouldn’t use anally then vaginally as the bacteria would be highly dangerous. You can go vaginal to anal but not the other way! Also if my partner plans on using it then I sterilise it between sessions with a light solution and a thorough rinse after that too. After using it by myself I can clean in soapy water then spray on an anti-bacterial sex toy cleaner before drying it and storing it in the box.
The curve of the stem makes it easy to massage your G-spot with this, while the two ends give you a couple of options for anal stimulation. It took a while to work up to the larger sphere anally and even now I need to be highly aroused and have other stimulation from clitoral bullets or sex in order to get it inserted.
Temperature Play
Once the Njoy Pure Wand Stainless Steel Dildo is inside, whether vaginally or anally, the reason steel sex toys are so popular becomes even more apparent. The cool material gives you an internal ‘zing’ and while it is warming to your own body temperature (it does get there eventually) the contrast of metallic cool against the tight inner spaces of your body is orgasmic all by itself.
Of course as it’s metal you can experiment with some temperature play too, either cool it down in the fridge before use or warm it up in warm water. The latter is an idea before you use it on a cold winter’s night! It makes a lovely warm instrument for body massage. In the heat of summer a chilled dildo is very welcome between the sheets.
During Sex
Using the Pure Wand during sex is so much fun. Sometimes we use it during foreplay, as he teases it inside me and elongates the sex session before the main intercourse. Sometimes after sex the Pure Wand is used to lengthen the sex session and ensure that I’m fulfilled too. It’s all good.
I prefer using my Njoy Pure Wand Stainless Steel Dildo along with a clitoral bullet vibrator to add some buzzy sensation… until the discovery of the TENGA Yuki vibrator this could lead to a lot of rattling but with the Yuki the soft squishy silicone transfers the vibrations to the metal Pure Wand dildo if you touch it, leading to vibes through the steel material and into you, without any of the clacking, rattly noise.
However You Fancy…
The Pure Wand can be used as gently or as harshly as you wish. I’m pretty hard core at times so being able to ram something against the cervix is delicious, but I’m aware not everyone’s up for that.
The Njoy Pure Wand Stainless Steel Dildo is a step up from glass dildos and a gleaming alternative to stone dildos. I’d advise everyone to try it out and invest in this metal dildo which has already proven it will last for years, through even vigorous use.
