This deluxe cordless wand is gloriously rumbly and seriously powerful. The silicone-coated handle gives great grip, the travel lock is handy and the zipped case is luxe. It is louder than some and not waterproof, but for earth-shaking clitoral power it is outstanding.

First impressions
Silky smooth silicone on the head and the handle of the Lovehoney Desire Wand Vibrator, finished in rich purple that looks properly premium. The silicone grip helps during longer sessions and the build feels robust.
Size and measurements
Total length about 13 inches, with roughly 9.5 inches in the handle. Head circumference around 7.9 inches. That matches the Tokidoki X Unicorn Magic Wand and the mains-powered Lovehoney Deluxe.
Power and charging
The Lovehoney Desire Wand Vibrator is rechargeable. Plug the lead into the base and the front light flashes while charging. A full charge takes about 3 hours. I used to think only mains wands hit the deep rumbles I need until the O-Wand changed my mind. Some cordless wands still disappoint. This one does not.
Operation and controls
Three buttons on the handle:
- + power on and increase through 5 intensities
- ~ cycle through 20 patterns
- − decrease intensity and power off
There is a travel lock. Hold + and − for about 5 seconds to lock or unlock. As a constant-vibes lover I focus on the steady speeds rather than patterns, and that top intensity is delightfully feral.
During use
The rumbles are deep enough that I feel them through my whole body. Orgasms arrive fast and heavy, even with an audience during couple play. Versus the mains Deluxe, this cordless Desire wand wins for sheer power and convenience.
- It is noisy. Louder than the mains Deluxe for me.
- It is not waterproof. I would love bath or shower play with this level of power.
