Packaging & What’s In The Box

Like the Desire Wand, the Lovehoney Desire App-Controlled Rechargeable Knicker Vibrator arrives in discreet outer packaging while the toy itself is packaged in a recognisable ‘Desire’ box. There are several Lovehoney Desire sex toy reviews here on the blog, so you can have a look through and view the Desire sex toy boxes for yourself. I like this design; the dark tones with purple highlights provides connotations of luxury and elegance.

The box also gives you some information about the sex toy inside – there’s an image, some text about the product as well as Lovehoney company details.

Inside the box you’ll find a cute little black zip-up pouch branded with the Lovehoney heart. It’s such a welcome and appropriately luxurious inclusion. Plenty of the other Desire sex toys reviewed here on the blog also arrived with their own storage bag or case, which is fab, and I love that the zips are the lockable type as they interlock. First Impressions & Measurements

I love the velvety smooth silicone that the Lovehoney Desire App-Controlled Rechargeable Knicker Vibrator is coated with, and the fact it’s cleverly curved to fit the natural contours of the vulva. There’s a raised oval nodule on the underside which is obviously meant to provide the clitoral stimulation during use. The ergonomic design and lightweight feel, combined with the luxurious finish, reminded me of curved pebble style vibrators I’ve tried in the past.

The black lace knickers are luxurious too. They have a cotton gusset which forms a handy pocket for the vibrator to be placed into, keeping it securely in position during wear. The tie sides are a fashionable grey tone, and made of sleek satin material. Because the panties have ties at the sides, they can be adjusted to fit your specific curves, and you can make sure they are both comfortable and snug enough to deliver that clitoral/vulval stimulation effectively during the self-pleasure session.

As for the measurements of the vibrator – it’s 3.75 inches in overall length, with a width of 2 inches at the widest part while the slimmest part (at the tip) measures just 0.75 inches across.

Charging Up

The Knicker Vibrator

You can use the Lovehoney Desire App-Controlled Rechargeable Knicker Vibrator by pressing the button on the vibe, and/or by the Lovehoney Desire smartphone app which is available from Google Play or the App Store. It slips into the pouch in the black lace knickers provided, to be enjoyed as a saucy secret you or a partner controls whether it’s around the house or in public if you’re brave enough. First, let’s have a look at the vibrator by itself.

The Knickers

The black lace knickers are cleverly tie-side so they should fit most hip sizes. They have a cotton gusset which is also a handy pocket for the vibrator to be placed into during use. They’re comfortable, easy to put on, luxurious feeling, pretty –and extremely easy to pull loose once you’re ready to strip!

These knickers are made of a 90% nylon and 10% spandex mix, and need to be hand washed and hung to dry.

Pleasure Via The App

I found the Lovehoney Desire app in the Play Store easily, and it downloaded and opened without any issues. Despite having some issues connecting sex toys to apps in the past, my Lovehoney Desire App-Controlled Rechargeable Knicker Vibrator connected via Bluetooth straight away once I’d pressed the ‘hey I’m on!‘ button on the vibrator.

I just had to tell the app if I was playing alone or with a partner, which app-controlled Desire sex toy I own, then I was straight in to the patterns and intensities area. Raise and lower the wave on each page to make the vibrations more or less intense, and swipe to discover the different patterns available.

How It Feels

Using the Lovehoney Desire App-Controlled Rechargeable Knicker Vibrator was a real journey of discovery. Learning about this sex toy in particular, yes –but also self-discovery… what sort of stimulation I enjoy and need in order to achieve psychological and sexual satisfaction and orgasm.

This certainly isn’t a vibrator that I’d grab for a quickie masturbation session, it just doesn’t work like that (for me, anyway).
