The Lovehoney Fierce clothing collection is sleek, seductive and dramatic. When I caught a first glimpse of the range, when offered some of the items to review, I was immediately impressed with what looked to be a perfect blend of darkly alluring fetwear and well-made, comfortable bedroom outfits which accentuate curves, increase confidence and capture attention. I selected and was sent two items from the Lovehoney Fierce range to review, the Lovehoney Fierce Leather-Look Bodycon Dress and the item I’m reviewing today, the Lovehoney Fierce Wet Look Long Sleeve Zip-Around Body.

Packaging
The Lovehoney Fierce Wet Look Long Sleeve Zip-Around Body arrived in the usual discreet outer packaging for the post, while the body itself was contained in a transparent plastic wrap. This bears a sticker letting you know which outfit/size is inside, and the body also has a luxury branded tag with the Lovehoney logo/Fierce branding and the item particulars.
First Impressions
Black! Kinky! Stretchy! Comfy! Ok, so perhaps that last one isn’t on everyone’s immediate priorities list when examining their new item of lingerie or fetwear, but as a lady of a certain age I must admit that comfort has come to mean more to me than it used to. It might be hard to imagine that stretchy clothing can also be extremely sexy –unless you’re familiar with fetish wear, and the Lovehoney Fierce Collection, of course.
The Lovehoney Fierce Wet Look Long Sleeve Zip-Around Body has a high neckline and a zip up front, meaning that you can decide how much of your décolletage and cleavage you wish to reveal. Part of the attraction when it comes to fetish wear is that they offer not just traditional black tones, with connotations of darkness and depravity, but a sight/touch barrier. We tend to want what we can’t have. We want to see what’s covered up; we want to touch what’s off-limits.
This zip is dual-ended, which means it’s one zip with an easy-grip O-ring pull to either end. The zip goes all the way down the front centre of the body and round under the crotch area and finishes up just above the butt, providing the option of a saucy bum flash –or access to your most intimate areas without having to remove the body fully. This Fierce Body is made from a polyester/elastane mix, and needs to be handwashed in cold then hung carefully to dry.
Fitting
I love that the Lovehoney Fierce Wet Look Long Sleeve Zip-Around Body is so easy to put on, and then comfortable once it’s on. I decided to wear with fishnets and heels to continue the black, fetishy look; it also teams well with knee or thigh-high boots.
How It Feels/Looks
While I’m wearing the Lovehoney Fierce Wet Look Long Sleeve Zip-Around Body I feel seductive, bold and daring. I also feel incredibly saucy and teasing. The stretch-to-fit style feels and looks fantastic round my curves, highlighting my waist and hips and arse.
The high cut of the body elongates my legs and makes me feel desirable and aroused while wearing it, and teaming it with fishnets (a great selection of hosiery available from Lovehoney USA / UK) really helped accentuate that feeling.
I prefer wearing a bra underneath my Fierce Body as my boobs do need a bit of extra support these days, but if you’re lucky enough to feel pert and perky without then feel free. The inside of the Body’s material is soft and fabric-like, unlike the glossy and shiny outer side.
I’m loving the dark look of the Fierce Body, and how easy it is to put on and how comfortable it is while wearing it.
