Shape and Sizing
The John Thomas Toys Platinum Silicone Chubby Cedrick Dildo comes in four sizes, and two types of firmness.
The smallest size has an insertable length of 6 inches, with the widest circumference being 4.6 inches at the base of the shaft, weighing just 162g.
At the other end of the scale, the largest (“XL”) has an insertable length of more than twice that at 13.6 inches, while the bottom of the shaft is 10.5 inches around, and weighs a whopping 2.2kg.
We were sent the medium size for review, in the “supersoft medium” firmness, which is the softer of the two types available.
The medium size has a total insertable length of 8.8 inches, with a circumference of 5.8 inches at the base, and weighs a modest 365g. This is what you’ll see pictured throughout the review.
For comparison, pictured below are three John Thomas toys: the Alien (small; read our John Thomas Toys Alien Hooligan review), Chubby Cedrick in the middle which I’m reviewing here (medium), and the Buffalo on the end (also a medium; click to read our John Thomas Toys Buffalo Dildo review).
Despite both being medium size, “Chubby” Cedrick is probably boasting a little about his girth, when compared to the Buffalo there anyway. Of course, anything looks positively emaciated when compared to the Buffalo, so that’s probably not fair.
Cedrick has very straight and mostly uniform thickness shaft, with a realistically cut head and balls. As well as some thick veins running length-ways down the shaft, you’ll find some delightfully pronounced ridges spaced about 1cm apart. It’s those that make Cedrick stand out in a line-up of lovely penises.There’s also a subtle rough leather-like texture all over the surface of the John Thomas Toys Platinum Silicone Chubby Cedrick Dildo: like he’s been around a bit, seen some things, but now he’s all yours. Materials

On the bottom of the toy, engraved on the side, you’ll find the John Thomas Toys logo proudly displayed as a mark of quality (which includes a life-time warranty, we should add).
The package includes a faux suede storage pouch, and an official Doc Johnson PVC vac-u-lock suction cup adaptor. Made of a stiff PVC, the suction cup adaptor works well only on perfectly flat, smooth surfaces. Or you can use it behind the ring of a strap-on, as you can see we’ve done in the photos.
What’s It Like?
We used the John Thomas Toys Platinum Silicone Chubby Cedrick Dildo for pegging, and the medium size in supersoft seems like it was a Goldilocks choice: perfect in every way.
It’s not so large as to be a brutal punishment and the uniform thickness means my partner can thrust away as hard as she likes without me screaming to slow down, or having to spend too long warning up.
The weight is just right: one size up would be just under a kilogram(!), at which point, it can be quite uncomfortable for the dick-wielder to manage with anything other than a pro-level harness.
And the “supersoft medium” firmness is lush too: enough to really feel every rib of that lovely shaft as he slides into you, but soft enough to bend and squeeze a little if you hit any resistance on the inside.
Is Chubby Cedrick the Dildo for You?
It’s hard to find any fault with the John Thomas Toys Platinum Silicone Chubby Cedrick Dildo. The textures are lovely, it’s perfect for thrusting, it’s made of body-safe silicone, and there’s a vac-u-lock cavity to connect it to all the things. What more could you want?
But check the size before you buy! As you can see in the comparison photo, sizing the toys by product photos alone can be tricky, with the widest circumference of medium Chubby Cedrick being many times thinner than that of medium Buffalo. For that reason, please be sure to read the actual listed sizes on the product page, and compare to any insertables you already own. Don’t buy anything significantly larger, or you may end up with a chunk of silicone you can’t actually play with. Cedrick would be very sad.
So it turns out Chubby Cedrick does have something to boast about: a nice fat 10/10 from me.
