By my measurements it’s 10.5 inches in overall length, with 9.5 inches insertable and a maximum circumference of 9 inches.

Packaging / Unboxing

My tantalising new Taintacle Dildo arrived, like my other Hankey’s Toys items, in a discreet outer box for the post. Inside, I found my Taintacle toy and other products I’ve been sent to review, securely packaged and individually wrapped.

The Hankey’s Toys Taintacle Dildo was shrink-wrapped in transparent plastic, with a Mr Hankey’s branded card inside and a small care label attached to the base.

First Impressions

It’s so beautiful! What a gorgeous, glistening new sex toy to try out, and what a seductive size and style!

This toy looked absolutely perfect from the moment I saw it. The medium size and firmness seemed ideal, and I was glad of the potential offered by the optional Vac-U-Hole in the base, too. The tentacle design holds massive sex appeal to me so I was excited to get started.

Cleaning The Dildo

As usual with any new sex toy, I gave it a rinse before use. This ensures any residual manufacturing chemicals and any tiny loose silicone fragments are washed away. Usually, I’d wash a new toy in a sink, but due to the larger size of the Hankey’s Toys I ended up washing them in the shower with me.

I’ve heard people’s concerns via blog & social media comments that sex toys which have multiple ridges and nodules as part of their design might be difficult to keep completely clean. I don’t have any issues, I just use a nail brush I’ve set aside for this purpose and gently go over the entire surface with whatever soap or cleansing gel I’m using, before a thorough rinse. Then either pat the toy dry with a clean towel or leave to air dry.

How It Feels

I was definitely going to need some lube with this deep-diving tentacle toy. The medium-firm silicone is smooth but has some drag, so I loaded it (& myself) with my favourite water-based lube. It also helped to tease and arouse myself pre-penetration with one of my powerful bullet vibrators to the clit, too.

The design of the Taintacle helpfully lends itself to easy penetration due to the narrow tip, before it widens out to its fullest diameter. I like this, as it means I can insert it just as much as I’m comfortable with – there’s no over-exerting trying to fit even the tip of the shaft inside, or disappointing failure to insert any of the toy at all. I like to use my Taintacle vaginally, but it’s also safe to use anally – as long as you can fit it in of course, and please use lube! Using it anally would also let the toy live up to the ‘taint’ part of its name…

It isn’t a straight up and down dildo either. As well as the delicious internal stimulation from the suckers on the tentacle shaft, the toy is sinuously seductive with an ‘S’ bend to enjoy. This makes for some interesting sensations both during the initial insertion but also when sliding it in and out of myself during use. It’s then that I’m extra glad I applied plenty of lube – and have plenty more to hand when required.

There’s a hefty circumference just above to base which is a challenge to envelop during use, on top of the length of the toy. This is a toy which is sure to satisfy even the hungriest size Queen.

With a flat base, the Hankey’s Toys Taintacle Dildo can be held easily during use but also set on a flat surface to help aid insertion. It can be surprisingly tricky to wield such a sizeable, heavy-weight toy and insert it when you’re also sexually aroused and the toy (& probably your hands) is coated in lube. Setting the toy on the bathroom floor, the closed lid of the loo or even just squatting over it on the bed made it a lot easier, and easier = more fun when it comes to masturbation and sex, in my opinion.

As I’ve mentioned, I love a tentacle toy.
