If you know me at all, you know I love my Original Doxy Wand Vibrator. It’s quite simply the most powerful vibrator I’ve ever owned. Firmly at the top of my favourite sex toys list, it was hard to imagine what Doxy would come up with next to delight the sex toy & orgasm connoisseurs of the world. The Original Doxy Wand Vibrator is available in various colours: black, pink, purple and white and I have the black. It goes with everything, you know (especially all the bondage restraints by the bed). The Doxy Wand Vibrator is mains powered (plug in to operate) and has a long lead giving enough scope for movement during use. There’s three buttons, on/off, + and – which is fairly self explanatory. The pulse setting is activated by pressing and holding the power button for three seconds at which point the pulse mode will come into play – and can also be increased or decreased in intensity by the + and – buttons.

This is all the same with the Die Cast Wand Vibe, except you have a lovely shiny outer, a bit more weight in your hands and the knowledge that you’re using one of the most lusted after sex toys in the whole sex toy kingdom.

The main differences I found with the Doxy Die Cast Wand Vibrator as opposed to the original was the weight of it (830g), and the strength of the vibrations. The head is silicone meaning non-porous, body safe happiness. In some product pictures online the Die Cast Doxy looks quite dark, almost a slate or gun metal grey, but it’s actually brighter and shinier metal. Not quite polished mirror but almost. I believe my photos give a good and true representation.

During use this particular magic wand vibrator from Doxy isn’t quite as powerful on top speed as the original plastic handled version. It has to be something to do with the heavier casing muffling or perhaps absorbing some of the power travelling to the silicone head… but I’m not an engineer or mechanic so this is just musing. The important thing is, it still works. If you can only ever achieve orgasm with the top speed of the Original Doxy Wand Vibrator then there is a slim chance you’ll be disappointed in this one, but as I have probably the most tenacious clitoris going (all the hard work I put it through) and can orgasm with the original Doxy on low to medium setting then I don’t think this will be a problem for most.

I can orgasm with the Die Cast by Doxy and it doesn’t have to be on the top speed either. You can get more of an idea about the speeds, settings and operation in the video below. The louder noises are where I’ve pushed the head against the Liberator Black Label wedge in the background to give you an idea of speeds/power.

Obviously, just like the original Doxy, the Die-Cast isn’t submersible or waterproof as it’s a plug in vibrator. I don’t care though and I don’t believe you should either. When the day arrives that Doxy (or anyone else) can create a rechargeable, wireless, waterproof vibrator with the overwhelming power and might of the Doxy Wand I’ll be the first one battering down the door to demand mine. But for now, I haven’t found any other vibrator which has the power output of the Doxy Massager Wands and so I can forgive a connected-to-mains lead and its non-waterproofness.

A Gift For Anyone

This die-cast version of Doxy Massager is a little pricier than the original version but it’s to be expected as it’s the deluxe model. it comes in a lovely foam padded storage case which zips up with a cute branded tag zip. The Doxy Die Cast Wand Vibrator is gorgeous and would make a sublime gift for the sex toy addict on any occasion, but especially bearing in mind Christmas coming up – and if you need a little longer to save, Valentine’s Day.

Although usually seen as a clitoral stimulator there’s no reason the Doxy Massager Wand Vibrators can’t be used to give pleasure to the penis, testicles and perineum either. It’s definitely an external sex toy though – even though I know some people who can insert it I wouldn’t recommend it just in case of any problems.

The Doxy Die Cast Wand Vibrator – and the Doxy Don – have reminded me just how much I love and rely on my Original Doxy Wand Vibrator for so many orgasms, and I’m amending that review to bump it up to a 10. I don’t care that it’s noisy and not waterproof. It’s simply my favourite sex toy. The Doxy Die Cast Wand Vibrator is beautiful and a very close second to the Original, and I don’t feel I can take off any points just because of the weight or because it’s not spine-shatteringly powerful. It works for me, it’s gorgeous and easy to use – and gives you the choice to upgrade your Doxy experience to deluxe.
