I’ll be honest, I’m in love with the We-Vibe Tango Bullet and very unashamed of it. It sits on my bed almost all the time because that’s how frequently I reach for it. I’ve owned it for a few months now and have finally decided to pen a review because, well, so many others out there already sing its praise! If you’re still somehow undecided on whether this is the vibrator for you, allow me to attempt to convince you either way.

Product specifications:
First, the more mundane (but equally important) bits. This is a bullet vibrator, hence it is very small. The We-Vibe Tango Bullet is a mere 3.5 inches in length with a circumference of 2.3 inches. At this point I’d like to caution using this near the anal area: it might feel good around the perineum, but avoid anal play! A trip to the Emergency Department would be hardly enjoyable. It is shaped like a lipstick with “We Vibe Tango” detailed at the base, but still very discreet in design. If you’ve got nosy housemates or like bringing a vibrator on your travels, this would be a prudent choice. The only drawback from this point of view is that it does not have travel lock, so the only way to be sure it will not accidentally turn on is if you drain it completely.
It does have a low battery light that flashes when it needs charging, which I found helpful. It is made of ABS plastic so it’s body-safe and rigid. The material also allows for very good transmission from vibrations from the motor, and combined with the angled tip it allows for wonderful pinpoint stimulation wherever you choose. On top of that, the magnetic charger allows it to be waterproof, which for me just spells convenience when cleaning, but it could certainly be used in the shower.
First impressions:
The box this comes in is gorgeous, and I’ve kept mine around purely because of that. It comes with a wee satin drawstring bag which I’ve found is large enough to store both the We-Vibe Tango Bullet and the charger that comes with it. This is great for that weekend away, or just to be sure you’ve got the right charger for the right toy. I’ve read other earlier reviews on the magnetic charger being somewhat finicky – I personally have not had any trouble with this. The magnet seems sufficiently strong, and I can leave it to charge on my bed without worrying that it’s not actually connected.
The charger itself has a USB plug which I have found very versatile – I can charge it via my laptop or attach the magnetic clip head to my Android phone’s charger. The vibrator itself is beautifully designed. Mine is in a shade of pink that is pleasing to me (and I usually dislike the colour), but if you prefer a different colour, it is also possible to get one in blue.
During Use:
On to the fun part! This is incredibly, impossibly powerful. I bought this because I struggle with orgasms and had read all about the strength in this tiny thing, but boy was I unprepared! I turned it on (at the lowest setting) it my hands and it threatened to jump right out of my palm! It’s so strong that some days I use it through clothes first (and yes that includes jeans) before placing it directly on me. For all its strength, it is also very quiet. This was also important to me as I share a flat. With my door closed, I cannot hear this from outside my bedroom or in the room next to mine. I am confident using this with the flatmates around, although managing the sounds I make is a different matter!
It has 4 speed settings (Low, Medium, High, Ultra) and 4 patterns (Tease, Wave, Pulse, Cha-cha), and you cycle through them by pressing the button at the base. To turn it off, simply hold down the button for a couple seconds and it switches off. It also has a memory function so the next time you turn it on, it starts at the setting you last left it at. Depending on how you prefer to use your vibrators, this may or may not be a niggle for you. I usually appreciate the memory function, although at times I have found myself switching on the We-Vibe Tango Bullet to Ultra and having to cycle through to the lowest speed. Which leads me to probably the only serious gripe I have with the Tango: it has 4 speeds and 4 patterns, but is operated by a single button. At times I appreciate the simplicity of operating it, but mostly I wish We-Vibe had just designed this with plus and minus buttons instead.
But all is forgiven when I use the We-Vibe Tango Bullet. I have never experienced anything quite like it. The vibrations are strong and they’re deliciously rumbly, going deep into the tissues. The intensity of the rumbles creeps up on me and before I know it I’m caught up in the incredible vibrations pulsing through me. I also really enjoy the Wave pattern in the build-up to the finish. It is often touted for its pinpoint stimulation (which is true), but I personally tend lay the entire body of the We Vibe Tango on my vulva for a somewhat more diffuse sensation.
Being very small and sleek, the We-Vibe Tango Bullet is also perfectly shaped for use with a partner. It fits comfortably between two people. Those who like strong vibrations on their penises might enjoy this too! It can also be inserted vaginally although it is not designed specifically for G-spot stimulation. Since it is fairly small and very smooth, keeping a hold on this may potentially be challenging if you’re using lots of lube. However, I personally have not had any problems holding on to it during play, both alone and with a partner. I should also point out that as it is so small and the vibrations are so strong, some of the vibrations do travel up to the hand, although I have not found this to be numbing.
Summary
I love the We-Vibe Tango Bullet – have I mentioned this yet? I truly believe that many could benefit from trying the We Vibe Tango, whether you’re new to the scene or have been amassing a collection. I don’t believe certain vibrators should be kept for beginners and some for those ‘more experienced’. I bought this when I was first exploring sex toys, and this has now spoiled me. I’d only caution against this if you know you like gentle or broader vibrations, because the We Vibe Tango does not hold back. We-Vibe markets this as the most powerful mini-vibe, and I wholeheartedly agree. If you, like me, crave power and deep rumbly pinpoint vibrations, you have found the One for you. Let this vibrator adorn your toy box.
