It’s an all singing and all dancing sex toy (disclaimer: does not actually sing and dance). I am so glad that I’ve had the opportunity to review it but even happier that I now own such a cute, powerful and thoughtful little vibe.
First Impressions
This Rocks Off Glow In The Dark RO-80 Bullet Vibrator is part of the new range from Rocks Off. The new collection of RO-80 bullets has the world famous, best selling little bullet vibe at its heart, with a selection of fun, funky and eye catching designs. There’s this glow in the dark version, glitter, animal print, flower print and even a colour changing one.
It comes safely packaged and professionally presented in a well designed box, with the bullet vibrator sat within a velvet feel, plastic insert. Underneath this you find a satin feel, purple drawstring storage bag (something you don’t get with the standard RO-80 bullet) and a Rocks Off mini catalogue which is a nice touch.
Powering Up
Pop the RO-80 Glow Bullet out from the insert and unscrew the cap to find a paper disc inside preventing the vibrator from accidentally turning on during transit. Just remove this little disc and screw the cap back on. The Rocks Off Glow In The Dark RO-80 Bullet Vibrator comes with the battery so you can get started right away, which is great.
It takes an N battery which is, ok, not as good as a AAA or similar but not as terribly bad as those awful watch batteries.
Top tip: I tend to keep a plentiful stock of N batteries which I get from eBay, cheapest and easiest place I’ve found instead of buying from shops online or supermarkets.

Material & Manufacture
The RO-80 Glow Bullet Vibe is made from durable ABS plastic, with the logo embedded in the side, as with the standard RO-80. A contrasting rubber sealant ring has been placed as a collar around where the cap is screwed onto the main body, while the soft end button is in the same contrasting fuchsia pink.
The sealant ring seems much more resilient than on the standard RO-80 and indeed on the other Rocks Off Bullet Vibrators, it feels like it’s had an upgrade and doesn’t ‘squish’ as much when you screw the cap on. It feels like it can withstand both a hard screwing (!) and will keep the bullet watertight.

Water Resistance & Operation
Yes, the RO-80 Glow Bullet Vibe is waterproof, like the rest of the Rocks Off bullets range and in fact most of their collection of sex toys. This increases the versatility of this sex toy greatly. I have no worries either about cleaning it, fully submerging it in water, or taking it to the bath or shower for a discreet orgasm or three.
To activate the vibrations and discover the 7 vibration settings, you just press the soft button on the end. Keep pressing to scroll through the different functions, from different speeds, to escalating and pulsating styles. Press and hold from any setting to switch the vibrator off. Once you click on again it starts once more from the first setting.

I’ll try to describe the 7 vibrating settings the best I can:
- Low constant
- Medium constant
- High constant
- Dot dot dot dash pulse

- Escalating

During Use
The other thing I like about the Rocks Off Glow In The Dark RO-80 Bullet Vibrator, like the standard RO-80 bullet is that it can be used by men and women, either alone or together. Sure, it’s probably best suited to intense clitoral stimulation. But as I am on my 60 Day Vibe Chastity, I had to get a bit creative.
First of all I tested it out on my girlfriend. Being a veteran of Rocks Off sex toys, especially the bullets and most especially the original RO-80 it had the desired effect of an orgasm, fast. Not only that but she was spoilt for choice with the 7 functions.
With Him
My man likes the original RO-80 too and we have many of them dotted around the house. Discreetly I mean, not strung on wires as house bunting or anything. Yet.
So it was fun to incorporate this new version into foreplay, letting him lay back as I tended to him, turning the Glow Bullet on to the first setting and just lightly placing it against his shaft, travelling up and down and teasing his balls.
It’s quite powerful so the higher settings were far too intense for penile stimulation (well for him anyway) but the lowest setting was enough to quickly arouse a solid erection.
We don’t normally have the lights off during sexual activity and sex but we of course turned the lights out to check it – and it looks fab. In fact I am going to try and figure a way to place a chain around, secured round the collar and wear it round my neck the next time I’m at a club. Funky accessory and an orgasm (alone or shared) in the loo if I’m in the mood. Perfect!
Summary
