First Impressions & Presentation
Sophie dispatched the package really quickly and threw in a 1st Class, so was with me almost immediately, in a plain packaging that was non-suspecting… though I did rip it open sat in my car outside the post office much to my fellow tweeters amusement.
The Purple Doxy Wand Massager is as sleek at its reputation, arrives a white box with pink writing, encased in a dark cardboard sleeve – I guess for the cost of the Doxy, you’d think it would arrive in a case, because it’s quite a big boy as the box really isn’t great for keeping it in but that’s a side point, as apparently if you buy a Doxy Die Cast it comes with it. You can buy the case for £20 from Doxy Directly…. As for the Doxy itself … dammmmmn.
Size
Size wise, the Doxy is 14 inches long from head to cable start, the cable is 3 metres long. The massaging head is 7.5 inches circumference, and the handle starts at 7 inches and tapers off to 5 inches. You might think that a large toy makes it very heavy as well but the wand is only 518g (without plug), I think it could be a lot heavier if it wanted to be!
A purple handle, a black wire and embedded in to the handle is 3 light silver/grey buttons; an on/off, a + and a -, very simple. The Purple Doxy Wand Massager has 5 settings which increase in speeds, you can also set it to pulse which means it accelerates to the highest setting and then starts again starting at 3000 rpm and escalating to 9000 rpm. This wand suits hard core players as well as those that need it a lot lighter. One of the things I love the most about the Doxy is that it’s a rumble rather than a buzz.
Specs
The Doxy Wand Massager is available in four colours; Black, White, Pink and Purple and it comes with a 12 month comprehensive guarantee. Only quality materials have been used in the production of the Doxy with the soft head covering made from a hypoallergenic medical grade non-porous PVC that is free from latex or undesirable phthalates. Furthermore, Doxy is one of only a handful of plug-in adult products fitted with a plug top power supply unit (PSU), meaning a low DC voltage travels into the massager.
Not only does this make it completely safe, but it means that the Doxy Wand Massager can be used all over the world (with a simple plug adaptor). This is something that cannot be done with sometime like the Hitachi.
One of my most favourite things about this is the fact that it’s mains powered, I won a wand that will now be ditched because it was rechargeable but the power and the charge just didn’t last so it was never ready to use when I wanted to use it but the Doxy is ready and raring as soon as the need is there, however, it is the most nosiest toy I now own. The noise doesn’t bother me as I live alone but if you’ve got children or relatives milling around, this toy might not be for you or at least, you’ll have to wait until they are out because you really don’t want to miss out on this toy!
Conclusion
In summary, the Purple Doxy Wand Massager should carry a strap line of “Gone in less than 60 seconds” because that’s the most I’ve managed to last so far! It’s quite powerful and something that you can use especially if you’re into forced orgasm and multiple orgasm play though make sure you have plenty of lube to hand to avoid friction. Cara said to me that I was going to ruin myself for all other toys and I think she might be right.
The Doxy Wand Massager gets a 10/10 for me.
