NS Novelties Infinit Rechargeable Massager Review

The NS Novelties Infinit Rechargeable Massager is an unusual vibrator which has been causing a bit of a stir in the sex toys world. It first came to my attention while I was at eroFame 2013 in Hannover, back in October. I must admit I didn’t give it much more than a few moments notice, not realising the full capabilities of this vibrator upon my first glance.

I was sent a purple NS Novelties Infinit Rechargeable Massager free of charge, in exchange for my fair and honest review. It’s also available in pink.

The first thing I noticed when I received the NS Novelties Infinit Rechargeable Massager was the weight. This is quite a heavyweight piece of kit, weighing in at 416.9g just for the vibrator alone, as I later found out.

Packaging

The packaging is professional and clearly labelled, with a picture of the product and the main facts about it on the back. Slip the inner box from the outer sleeve and you can see the vibrator through the front window. Lift the lid and remove the vibrator, then discover the additional accessories and info underneath the protective foam packing.

Taking the infinit vibrator in hand, you can tell straight away that not only is this a weighty vibrator, it’s made with the end user in mind. The handle is finished with aluminium while the three ‘probes’ making up the vibrator are covered with body safe silicone material. Therefore you can only use water based lubricant with this vibrator.

Each of the three ‘probes’ has its own multi function motor inside it, near the tips. You can operate these independently using the three buttons on the handle.

Charging Up

Before use you need to charge up the NS infinit vibrator. As it came supplied with an EU USB to mains and I’m in the UK, I simply used the USB lead with a USB port on the laptop. Not sure whether all the inifinit vibrators sold in the UK come with the EU mains plug and/or without an adaptor but there we go.

I left the NS Novelties Infinit Rechargeable Massager charging up overnight, as I tend to do with rechargeable sex toys. They usually range in charging time from 6-12 hours. The buttons on the handle flash white while it’s charging. When it’s fully charged they just emit a constant glow.

The next day it was ready to go and my first time trying out the NS Infinit Vibrator. I gave it a quick wash to get any residual manufacturing chemicals off, then powered it up. You just need to press and hold any of the buttons for a couple of seconds to operate one of the motors in a probe. Each button operates a different ‘probe’.

During Use

This is such a fun vibrator to use! More than that, I was astounded at how many different ways it can be used. There are 7 vibrating functions to each probe or arm, and you can choose whichever one on each, for the perfect mixture of stimulation wherever you want it. The functions range from constant vibrations through different pulsing styles.

For a personal toy to use during masturbation the NS Novelties Infinit Rechargeable Massager is near perfect. My only issue is that I can’t tell which button operates which ‘probe’ or arm during use. Not sure what the workaround for this would be. So if you try to change the setting on one arm while you’re using the toy, and you hit the wrong one, you need to either scroll through again and try to find the right button, or press and hold to turn off and back on again to find out where exactly you are.

Settings & Operation

Strangely enough I don’t usually think logically during the intense physical highs of masturbation so it’s incredibly difficult to even remember what the settings are, never mind attempting to remember if the bottom button is for this arm or that arm. Then of course you’re twisting the vibrator around, which puts you back to zero on the memory test.

It’s a bit like pin the tail on the donkey, but pin the vibration setting on the vibrator probe. That issue aside, I still thoroughly love the NS Novelties Infinit Rechargeable Massager. May sound weird but if you’ve read my other reviews you will know that I love the constant, high vibration on vibrators. Therefore, I just hit each button up the few times required to get to ‘constant high vibration’ and voila! I have a quiet but powerful buzzy to use as I wish.

Like I say, it’s not ideal really – but I don’t know how ns novelties would provide a solution to this. Even colouring the buttons wouldn’t help when it’s inside you. Perhaps raised shapes on the buttons as a kinda masturbatory braille? Something to think about, anyway.

Couples Toy?

Although they say you can use this vibrator as a couples toy, the weight of it doesn’t lend itself to between body use. You can bend the probes to form a penis cradle which vibrates, but there are so many other masturbatory devices which do the same or better job, that I would always choose them over the infinit for playtime with the man. I’ll also be writing my review of the Cobra Libre soon enough.

For vaginal/clitoral masturbation, the NS Novelties Infinit Rechargeable Massager is fantastic. You can bend each ‘probe’ or arm as you wish as use it in one of the following ways:

Standard vibrator

Albeit large and in charge! For when size matters.

Rabbit vibrator

One or two probes inside the vagina, the other(s) bent on the outside, against the body, for clitoral stimulation. You can bend the inner ones to lie better against your G-spot too.

Double penetration vibrator

One or two probes in the anal area, the other(s) in the vagina. Remember – don’t move anything from anal to vagina, you’ll end up with health problems.

Triple stimulation vibrator

A probe in the anal area, one in vagina and the other on the outside of the body, providing clitoral stimulation. This feels AMAZING.

On top of all this, the NS Novelties Infinit Rechargeable Massager is waterproof so not only can you use it in one of the above ways (and more, if you want to work them out) in the bath, shower, anywhere watery – it’s easy to keep completely and hygienically clean too. Make sure you clean the arms thoroughly with soapy water and finish with an anti bacterial sex toy cleaner to ensure it’s pristine the next time you come to use it.

Videos

Now: I have noticed that some product descriptions say that the NS Novelties Infinit Rechargeable Massager is not fully waterproof / submersible but the product packaging confirms that this is a waterproof sex toy. I have done a little video to show it works under water and it still works fine afterwards. I did ensure the bottom sealing tab was in place first.

Also, the official ns novelties video of the product states that it’s water resistant and would advise not submerging it, even though mine was and is fine.

I think ns novelties need to decide if the NS Novelties Infinit Rechargeable Massager is waterproof, or not, as it’s a lot of money to spend on a product. The packaging says it is, so in my opinion you’d have a valid claim if damage to the product occurred while using it in water. Like I say though, my infinit still works wonderfully.

So, ns novelties – is it or isn’t it?!

Storage

Another suggestion would be to provide a storage pouch. This is a silicone ended sex toy, so for the money I would expect to be provided with a storage pouch to keep it in when not in use. The infinit vibrator is pretty discreet, even when on the highest constant vibration levels. You can’t hear it from the next room, but in the same room you will be able to detect a low buzzing. The official video would be best off not describing the sound as a ‘swarm of angry bees’ in my opinion, if ns novelties hope to sell this as a discreet vibrator. Particularly when it IS rather discreet!

Summary

I am loving my NS Novelties Infinit Rechargeable Massager muchly and recommend it to all who want to try out an innovative sex toy that you can use in at least several ways if not an infinite number.
