This range takes much loved bullet vibes from the Rocks Off existing range and presents them in luxurious looking gold colour metallic plating, with tattoo designs created by the hand of Lal Hardy himself.
When Rocks Off offered me my choice of Lal Hardy bullet vibe from this new collection, I chose a bullet vibrator I hadn’t tried from Rocks Off before. I have the standard, glow in the dark and rechargeable RO-80 (love that lil vibe), as well as a few of the other sizes as you can see in my Rocks Off reviews.

Size
The Rocks Off Lal Hardy If You Love Me RO-160 Bullet Vibrator is obviously 16 cm in length, which converts to just under 6.5 inches. I would say the insertable length is 5 inches, this measures from the cap seal point to the tip. The maximum circumference around this bullet vibe is 3.9 inches. Chunky indeed.

Operation
To activate the vibrator, just press and hold the soft touch button on the end of the vibe. Press to scroll through the settings. Press and hold at any point to turn off the vibrator. When you restart it, it begins from the first setting once again.

You just have to make sure you screw the cap back on securely after inserting or removing the battery. There is a rubber sealant ring which ensures the waterproof capabilities.

When you first get your Lal Hardy RO-160mm vibrator you need to unscrew the cap and remove the protective cardboard disc which had prevented the vibrator from turning on during storage, transit and delivery. A decent size battery), one of which is included with the vibrator when you get it. You can get started straight away, which is thoughtful of Rocks Off.

You just visit the Rocks Off website and input your code, then you have a 6 month guarantee on your product. You also get a storage pouch with the vibrator, another thoughtful touch and another tick in the box for a fab sex toy.
During Use
Despite the Rocks Off Lal Hardy If You Love Me RO-160 Bullet Vibrator being a chunky beast of a bullet vibe, it isn’t as heavy as you’d think. A large battery (AA) powers the motor which seems to be located just below the tip of the vibrator, the best place for either clitoral or vaginal/penetrative stimulation.
This vibrator is extremely easy to use, thanks to the easily obtained battery size it requires, the waterproof capabilities and a soft touch button. The metallic coating of the bullet vibrator is pretty, especially with Lal Hardy’s tattoo design, but it will be interesting to see how this holds up after a few months of regular/hard use. I haven’t had any trouble with my other Rocks Off bullets so hopefully the Lal Hardy range will retain the usual high standards in this regard too.
Waterproof
I love that I can use this vibrator in the bath, the shower and anywhere aquatic as well as in bed or anywhere I want, for that matter. It’s also exceptionally easy to clean, just rinse under the tap, wipe down, spritz some anti-bacterial sex toy cleaner on and there we go. Done.
Versatility
During use I felt I had two toys in one. For female masturbation this vibrator is fabulous, as you can use it as a regular vaginal vibrator, with all the power of the Rocks Off motor, as well as easing it out and using the intense vibrations near the tip for clitoral stimulation that hasn’t yet failed to deliver powerful orgasms.
This vibrator has been within reach of the bed too, for those moments you want to add some vibration play to couples foreplay and sex. The chunky size means that it’s easy to keep hold of, no matter how much lube or slipperiness you’re dealing with. it’s comfortable against the skin, even if the metal is a little cold at first – I enjoyed that though. The lower levels of vibration were tantalising for him, when used over his erogenous zones, and in fact it’s great fun to share the use of this toy teasing each other and finding where you love the stimulation most.
Vibration Types
I don’t feel I really need all ten speeds the Rocks Off Lal Hardy If You Love Me RO-160 Bullet Vibrator offers, although it’s a nice marketing point, of course. Pulsing vibrations aren’t really my thing… if I want to tease and enjoy vibrations in a different location or style, I simply move the vibrator myself. I tend to stick with the highest constant speed or tone it down to a lower constant speed to prolong the session whether before or after the first orgasm.
It’s Christmas coming up, and of course the gorgeous tattoo design on this vibrator will make it an appealing gift for a sex toys fan, as will the festive gold colour. There is also the appeal to tattoo enthusiasts or aspiring ink lovers. The Lal Hardy range from Rocks Off will enjoy a successful Christmas period as well as seeing success through Valentine’s Day too, I’m sure.
Summary
Here we have a vibrator that is well made, efficient, reasonably priced, waterproof, with storage pouch and using a decent battery. The only way in which this could be better is if it were rechargeable, but then of course the price would shoot up accordingly. As it is, the Rocks Off Lal Hardy If You Love Me RO-160 Bullet Vibrator is perfectly portable as it uses the AA battery and you don’t have to worry about losing a charging lead.
