Packaging / Unboxing
You don’t have to worry about the postie or your neighbours knowing you’ve ordered a dildo online when you buy from Nothosaur Toys. My Virgo dildo came in a plain brown outer box, with no mention of the brand or sex toys on the outer label.
Inside the box, the dildo was securely packaged so it didn’t rattle around during transit. The dildo itself was in a Nothosaur branded sealed packet, and the team sent me some cute merch as well! Some stickers, a fantasy dildo keyring and a fabric drawstring storage pouch, adorned with a creature which reminds me very much of Connie the Hormone Monstress from Big Mouth. There was also a branded card with a hunky beast on one side and some discount code information on the reverse.
Material
All Nothosaur Toys are made from 100% platinum silicone. This is the sex toy connoisseur’s flexible material of choice, and should be yours too if you value intimate health and hygiene. Silicone is non-porous, non-toxic and phthalate-free, unlike some other flexible materials out there. It can be sterilised, and with good care will last for many, many years.

Size / Measurements
I have the small size Nothosaur Toys Virgo Dildo, mainly because I fancied a change (& a rest, not gonna lie) from all the huge dildos I’ve been reviewing recently. You can find my measurements of this Zodiac-themed cutie below:

The dildo has a flared base, meaning it’s safe for anal as well as vaginal use, if you wish. I thought the base may also double as a suction cup to securely attach it to smooth surfaces, but in my experience it doesn’t suction effectively enough to stick for long.

During Use: How It Feels
Even before using the Nothosaur Toys Virgo Dildo, I was struck by just how pretty it is and what an unusual, intriguing design it has. I absolutely love the colour (I chose ‘nocturne’ from the options available), which is in ombré style starting with deep navy at the base, blending to pinky-purple finishing with an icy cool blue at the tip.
The design of the Virgo dildo is something very special indeed. Unlike many other dildos which are either smooth, or have a textured surface, the Virgo has points of interest and intrigue in 3D. At the base, instead of simply finishing with a smooth, flared area, Virgo has soft nodules and raised bumps to grind on when you’re taking it to the hilt. The tip of the toy is flexible and in contrast to the typical singular spherical surface, boasts soft and rounded prong-like areas to tease and stimulate on the way inside, and when it’s massaging you deep inside. The design feels simply fantastic from the second you pick it up in your hand, through lubing up and inserting it, then repeatedly thrusting it in and out during mind-blowing self-fuckery sessions.
I need to talk a little more about that soft, multiple prong-like, squishy tip for a moment. It really is just sooo squishy and tactile – and feels intensely arousing brushing over my labia and clit, and vaginal entrance, while I’m fired up and lubed up before I even get to inserting the toy. It’s incredible for teasing. Then, once the dildo is deep inside, that spectacularly designed tip feels just as sensational bashing against my cervix as I take its full length and girth time and time again.

No matter, this area is still incredibly handy to keep hold of when the toy gets slippery during use, fucking myself as gently or as forcefully as I like. It means the toy is suitable for anal use as well, if you choose. I can stand it on its base to squat over and take its length that way, plus after washing I can store the toy upright on the bathroom shelf while it dries, appreciating its supernatural beauty.
The fantasy element of this sex toy adds a delightful layer of taboo eroticism and excitement to my sexual play sessions. I can let my imagination run riot that I’m being fucked my some mythical or alien beast whenever I use this astrological-inspired dildo. I appreciate the high-quality silicone used to make this beautiful dildo. It’s just so tactile and squishy. It does tend to attract hairs and fluff once out of the packet, so I make sure I give it a quick rinse before use every time. I selected ‘medium’ firmness silicone for this dildo, and it’s interesting to note that it’s softer and squishier than some other dildo companies’ ‘medium’ firmness silicone. I have attempted to demonstrate this in my short video above, where I squish the Virgo dildo. It feels supremely velvety to the touch and once you pick it up, it’s a wrench to put it down again. Gorgeous.
All in all, the Nothosaur Toys Virgo Dildo is a wonderful addition to my sex toy collection, and one that I’ll reach for over my common-or-garden, standard styles of insertable toys. I love that I can take the full length, even positioning it deep inside myself, then getting dressed to sit at my desk with it still in place, stimulating me with every slight movement, while I write this review… Umnnnf.
