Packaging & What’s In The Box
The Loving Joy VITA Rechargeable Wand Vibrator comes in a distinctive, stylish box, clearly communicating the contents and with an attention-grabbing image of the vibrator on the front. The box gives you plenty of information about the product within.
Inside the box, the VITA Wand is kept secure during dispatch and delivery in a moulded plastic insert, along with which you’ll find the magnetic/USB charging lead and a multilingual instruction leaflet.
First Impressions & Measurements
My Loving Joy VITA Rechargeable Wand Vibrator seems lighter than other, similar full-size wand vibes! Although it’s still definitely in the ‘full-size’ category of wands, at 12 inches in length, it’s easy to hold in my hand and doesn’t have that ‘could double as a murder weapon’ feel about it.
I was really hoping that during use, the VITA would live up to the full marks it received in the Pleasure Panel review. But before I could get started…
Charging Up
Yep, the Loving Joy VITA Rechargeable Wand Vibrator is –as it states- a rechargeable vibrator. Easy enough to figure out how to charge it; the included lead has a dual node magnetic end which attaches to the corresponding metal nodes on the front of the wand. The other end plugs into your choice of standard USB port.
While charging, the control buttons light up thanks to a white LED behind. It takes around 4 hours for a full charge, then lasts up to an hour and a half (depending on your preferred power levels, of course).
During Use
The Loving Joy VITA Rechargeable Wand Vibrator power output is absolutely astonishing considering that it’s cordless during use (not mains powered) and it’s so lightweight as well. The silicone covered head vibrates strongly enough that the wand does resemble my tried and tested faves in feel during use – Doxy, O-Wand, Le Wand etc.
Upon pressing the head of the wand vibe to me, the strength of the vibrations are muffled slightly – my top tip for VITA is to hold it just slightly away from you (if possible! I have to fight against that urge to press it to me tightly) then you can feel the full potential of its rumbly power.
Pressing the power button for a few seconds turns VITA on, and it’s clear from the start that this is a beast of a wand vibe – albeit a lightweight beast. Pressing the + button raises the constant vibration intensity until you reach the highest constant; another press and you’re on to the patterned settings. I press back to settle myself on the highest constant at this point – I’m not one for patterns, personally, but I know there are folk out there who love them.
I’m still –even as I write this- amazed that a rechargeable, cordless wand vibrator could deliver the level of vibrating power that VITA does. It took a little experimenting to find out how it works perfectly for me, and holding it just slightly away from my clit so I could enjoy the full intensity of those rumbly vibrations is truly where it’s at. There are lower power levels for those who aren’t such a demanding power queen.
A note at this juncture: the VITA wand vibe is fairly noisy. Unfortunately, vibrators with a high power output tend to be quite noisy, especially this style, wand vibrators. It’s the same with most of the wand vibrators I’ve tried – and loved, as the original Doxy Vibrator is amongst the loudest vibrators I’ve enjoyed. Still love it though. I guess it all depends on how discreet you really need to be –or how often you can cover your personal pleasure sessions with some loud background TV or the radio.
Another reason to invest? The Loving Joy VITA Rechargeable Wand Vibrator is completely waterproof. Yes, as well as being made with body safe materials – ABS plastic handle and silicone covered head – VITA is waterproof, meaning that not only is is extremely easy to clean after use, you can enjoy it in the bath or shower too.
The shower is my fave, it helps muffle some of the noise!

Summary
The Loving Joy VITA hasn’t knocked the Doxy off top spot in my wand vibrator collection, but I really appreciate the fact that it’s made from body-safe materials as well as cordless & waterproof during use. It’s a little rattly, a little noisy, and I need to remember to keep it ever so slightly away from my body in order to enjoy the full potential of those powerful vibrations.
This lightweight wand vibrator absolutely delivers on the power front, and it’s a better wand vibrator to travel with –as it’s both lighter in weight than other similar toys, and cordless during use so I don’t have to worry about how far away a power socket will be.
The Loving Joy VITA is just shy of £90, which is about the same price region as the current leaders in the wand vibrator sector. It’s definitely worth the price tag considering the strong, rumbly power output, as well as those body-safe material, cordless and waterproof features on top.
