Loving Joy Anal Douche Review

This month I will be reviewing a couple of toys again. The first one is the Loving Joy Anal Douche from Loving Joy. This is the first time I have used one of these. It’s kind of like the little bulb syringe that you would use for flushing out your nose or ear only much bigger.
The Loving Joy Anal Douche comes in a cardboard box. The box was slightly crushed, but in no way affected the product. Inside the box it is inside a plastic wrapper. Nothing fancy, but who needs fancy for this product. I always recommend washing every sex toy or tool with antibacterial soap and/or toy cleaner before and after each use.
The first thing that I noticed is that the long tip is removable. This makes filling and cleaning a little easier. The Loving Joy Anal Douche holds 225ml which is a little less than a cup. The next thing I noticed was the bulb itself. It was pretty squeezable, but still seemed durable and well made. The last thing I noticed was the very tip. Most things you insert into yourself or someone else have a rounded tip, meaning of course that there are no 90 degree angles or edges. That concerned me a little.
Having never used an anal douche before, I referred to the Loving Joy Anal Douche box for instructions. I know it seems pretty straight forward, but I didn’t want to have to explain to a doctor in the emergency room exactly what I did wrong. To my dismay they seem to think it’s pretty straight forward also =, because the only instruction were “To be used as a novelty only” which is not helpful. So I did what anyone else would probably do and did a Google search. I found plenty of helpful advice there. Most importantly is that it should be done around 45 minutes before anal play to give your body time to settle afterwards. Also, it’s not a one and done kind of thing. To get a good cleaning you will probably have to do it several times until the water comes out of your anus clear.
When the time came to use the anal douche I made sure to put a little lube on the tip to help it slide in. I did feel that edge I referred to earlier, but it wasn’t as bad as I suspected. Just enough to let me know I was not in quite the right spot. Overall the whole process went rather smoothly. It was not exactly pleasurable but certainly tolerable.
Over all the Loving Joy Anal Douche did its job. If you do any kind of anal play you should consider using the Loving Joy Anal Douche. It will help avoid unwanted smells and sights which will make it more enjoyable for everyone involved. I will give it 8 of 10 stars. There’s not really anything wrong with the product itself, it’s just not an exciting toy so it would be hard to give it anything higher.
