Lovehoney Provocatease Black Fishnet and Lace Underwired Backless Body Review

I love Lovehoney underwear but as I’ve lost a bit of weight recently I’m not entirely sure of what size I need. The Lovehoney Provocatease Black Fishnet and Lace Underwired Backless Body is one size, aiming to fit those between a UK 8-16. I’ve always been a bit sceptical of one size fits all (or most) but the fit on the body fits my size 14ish frame well and equally looks stunning on Lovehoney’s size 8 model.

The design of the body is quite minimal. Soft, black fishnet, edged with lace. However, the thong back and plunging neckline make it seriously sexy.
Unlike most fishnet body’s there is underwiring to give your boobs a boost. I really like this feature as I often feel quite flat chested in a body due to the lack of support or padding. The deep V also gives me some illusion of cleavage.
The rear of the Lovehoney Provocatease Black Fishnet and Lace Underwired Backless Body is a little disappointing. There just isn’t very much to it. The deep lace V shaped thong straps emphasis my bum perfectly but other than that the back is completely plain.
The open crotch is VERY open. I normally find open crotches a bit pointless with a thong as there isn’t much material and it can be quite sexy to just pull it to the side but the opening on the Lovehoney Provocatease Black Fishnet and Lace Underwired Backless Body is huge. You can easily insert a penis without any chafing and the opening starts low enough down for it not to be visible if you’re stood upright.
The adjustable back strap means you should be able to get the perfect fit. I wear a UK 38 back band and this fits me well with some room to extend further, it could also be made much smaller if you are more petite.
There were quite a few loose threads on the body, especially on the seams up the bra cups. I normally don’t have any issues with the quality of Lovehoney underwear, but this did feel a little unfinished in places.
Lovehoney do recommend only handwashing their underwear and given the slight quality issues I was reluctant to just throw the body in the wash with my clothes like I would do normally, but it has washed well on a delicates cycle within an underwear mesh bag.
My main issue with the Provocatease body is nothing to do with the design but the fishnet itself, I have pierced nipples and constantly snag these on the material (and it hurts like a b*tch). I’ve got around this by using nipple pasties which I think adds a teasing, flirty edge.
I’ve had some very enthusiastic feedback from people I’m dating and my Twitter followers – yes, I’m an exhibitionist – which certainly gave me a little confidence boost. I feel fierce and sexy and desirable in the Provocatease body.
