LELO MIA 2 Vibrator Review

I received the LELO MIA 2 Vibrator free of charge in exchange for a fair and honest review from LELO. I already own the Original LELO MIA Vibrator, so I was keen to see how the second version compared.

As usual the product came in elegant and classy packaging, as I’d come to expect from LELO. I received the LELO Flickering Touch Massage Candle to review at the same time. In keeping with the rest of the range, the vibrator is sat inside a black lidded box, which is contained in a glossy outer cardboard box complete with product image and a few details about the sex toy.

Powering Up

LELO MIA 2 Vibrator Review | LELO Sex Toy Reviews

A feature that I love about LELO MIA 2 Vibrator is that it’s not only a rechargeable sex toy but this vibrator doesn’t require any separate wire or adaptor or docking unit to charge. Just remove the cap (where it is branded with LELO) and you reveal the USB connector. Now all you need is any USB port connected to power and you can plug in ready for playtime!

The cap fits back on after the vibrator has finished charging, simply replace the cap and twist slightly until it ‘locks’ in place.

Charge for an hour to give 1.5 hours of continual playtime, according to LELO. I charged for an hour and I must say I think my MIA 2 needed charging up before I got to 1.5 hours of continual playtime – but then I have spent quite a while trying to orgasm with it, so perhaps it’s that. More on that story later.

Functions & Operation

To use, there is a simple silicone covered control unit on the side of the vibrator. There are + and – buttons. Press + to switch from off to vibrating then increase intensity; – to reduce intensity until the vibrator switches off once again. Easy.

LELO says there are ‘6 vibration settings’. I assume they mean intensity levels or speeds, as there is only one ‘pattern’ as far as I can tell: constant vibration, at the speed you decide by using the + or – buttons.

Unlike the Original LELO MIA Vibrator, the MIA 2 is waterproof and apparently has 100% more vibration strength. Now, I don’t know if my clitoris has callused with time (TMI? sorry) but while I was impressed with the original MIA 2 I think my button ‘grew up’ in the face of a LOT of other vibrators since then, as the top power on the vibrator is just not enough.

How it feels

The vibrations can be described as more ‘rumbly’ than intense, more a slow burn to orgasm rather than a quick buzz to climax. I’ve dug my nail into the + on the silicone control pad, but I just can’t get any more juice out of her (cap’n). The first time I used this vibe I chucked it to the side and grabbed my favoured iGino for a guaranteed good time. I’ve used the LELO MIA 2 Vibrator on several occasions since and although I CAN orgasm using it, it takes a while for me and is definitely not my favourite bullet vibrator. Seeing as this thing is £44 and I can orgasm quicker with a £10 Rocks Off bullet vibrator or the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator, you really need to consider what you want from your bullet style sex toy.

I think this vibrator would suit someone who prefers the scenic route to orgasm and finds intense vibrations such as those from iGino One, Doxy Massager Wand or even the Rocks Off bullet vibrators too intense. I know you’re out there! If you’re worried about a ‘jackhammer’ on your clit then the LELO MIA 2 will probably be perfect for you. Compassionately rumbling you to orgasm. You can’t get much more positive marketing than that, really.

As for my feedback, I need more power. I AM POWER HUNGRY. In terms of vibration speed, of course.

Summary

Although the MIA 2 would doubtless make a romantic gift for a discerning, elegant lady, or a wonderful addition to a LELO fan’s existing collection, I personally want more power for my pounds. At £44, this isn’t the cheapest bullet vibrator but you need to consider what you’re buying before making your definite decision.

The MIA 2 is waterproof, USB rechargeable, comes with box and satin storage bag and with the LELO guarantee.

If the power was upped by about 30-40% I could rate this as a 10/10 bullet vibrator. As it is, I’m afraid it’s getting 7/10, and that’s for the manufacturing prowess and other features than power.

I can orgasm with LELO MIA 2, but I’ll always choose another vibrator instead. Is my clitoris just not discerning enough? Do you have the sensitive clit that MIA 2 requires?
