The sex toy market is pretty saturated in vibrators and vibrating sex toys.  As far as penis orientated vibrators go, I wouldn’t be able to name many. Vibrating sleeves and orifices, sure; but not often a hand-held penis vibrator.  Fun Factory have absolutely smashed it out of the park with the Fun Factory Manta Vibrating Penis Stroker – it’s an absolute work of art and quite possibly my favourite sex toy I have EVER used.

The Fun Factory Manta Vibrating Penis Stroker arrives in a very compact and classy box set. On the front, side and back are the normal pictures of said sex toy.  One side is devoted to the features of the product; USB charger included, 100% waterproof, different speed levels + stimulation modes and made of body safe silicone.

Slipping the outer cardboard sleeve from the box reveals the golden box which holds the Manta, simply emblazoned with the Fun Factory logo.  Opening this box lets you access the User Manual and Warning Manual which are housed in a removable cardboard slip, once you remove this, you can finally get a first glimpse at the Fun Factory Manta Vibrating Penis Stroker in all its glory.

When I first laid eyes on and held the Fun Factory Manta Vibrating Penis Stroker I instantly said to myself “This is a quality piece of kit”. It has a lovely weight about it and looks like it has been very well made and thought about.  The part that comes into contact with any skin is a lovely flexible silicone which is attached to a plastic handle which has a very handy hole in it for keeping a tight grip on.

On the handle are three buttons, a red Fun Factory button which is the on/off button and a plus and minus button below this which rotate through the different speeds and patterns.  I obviously took it straight out of the box and after working out how to turn it on, used it without charging it first.  This is not the best thing to do! Unlike me, please charge your device before use, there’s nothing worse than a sudden loss of power at a pivotal moment!

Charging from completely flat takes approximately 6 to 8 hours, and using on full will last about 120 minutes (I haven’t had it run flat yet so I can’t verify that!)

Another wise move is to examine the User Guide before use, it is full of useful information, and for example the first page explicitly informs you that it is for use with a penis externally and not to be used anally at all!  Other pages in the guide show you how to charge it, and brilliantly, show you that a different combination of flashing or steady lights on the handle indicate how much battery percent has charged so far!  Great touch.

The charger is a magnetic two pin charger with a USB end and the magnetic part is brilliant, it literally snaps onto the charging part on the handle of the Fun Factory Manta Vibrating Penis Stroker with very little effort and keeps a firm hold while charging.  The next four pages of the User Guide show you how to navigate the different Intensities and Rhythms, crucially though, is the small part which shows you how to lock and unlock the travel lock!

Another simple but brilliant feature, hold the Fun and + button together for 0.5 of a second and the Fun Factory Manta Vibrating Penis Stroker will not suddenly start vibrating loudly in your bag when a button has been hit accidently!

Back to the Intensities (speeds) and Rhythms (patterns).  There are six speeds which when you turn the Fun Factory Manta Vibrating Penis Stroker on, it starts at the third speed. You can + or – to increase or decrease the speeds; after the sixth speed, you get into the patterns. Then if you press – at any point it will take you back into the most intense of the six speeds.

The six speeds are insane, the slowest one is a mere pleasant rumble that just shakes you deep down inside.  The strongest speed, number six, is the most powerful vibration I have felt from any toy and it showed by the first time I used it, climaxing in less than two minutes.  The patterns, or rhythms, also have a lot to answer for, you don’t just get the normal couple of patterns to mix things up, and these have obviously been specifically chosen to get you off in the most fantastic of ways.

If I have ever borrowed my partners vibrator to pinpoint the head of my penis I have always just stuck to the fastest speed it had to offer, but the Fun Factory Manta Vibrating Penis Stroker has changed that for me, there is a pattern amongst the rhythms that hits the spot almost TOO well every time, I can literally watch my penis clench and unclench with each pulse of the rhythm, which I have not experienced from a penis focused sex toy before.

The Fun Factory Manta Vibrating Penis Stroker obviously by its name, is described as a stroker, but I have found that holding it still against the frenulum is by far the best way to masturbate with this sex toy.  The shape of the Manta enables it to wrap around the head of the penis, warmly embracing the most sensitive parts of the glands on the head and pinpointing the majority of the vibration directly into the fraenulum which is utter bliss.

Using the Fun Factory Manta Vibrating Penis Stroker with a splash of lubrication and stroking the shaft also works wonderfully, but for purely lazy masturbation, letting it do all the work is heavenly.

Orgasm wise, letting the Fun Factory Manta Vibrating Penis Stroker do all the work and concentrating the vibrations to the sensitive glands on the head of the penis offers a different climax to normal manual masturbation does.  I find that the orgasms I had had using the Manta are very powerful and also produce a much stronger ejaculation!  I also have found that it is quite addictive, as I can climax quickly with it; it’s handy for a five minute break from whatever I’m doing!

Most of the use of the Fun Factory Manta Vibrating Penis Stroker has been solo, but as a couple’s sex toy, the Manta really comes into its own.  Holding the vibrator at the base of the penis and putting on some deep vibrations while receiving a blowjob is phenomenal for the receiver, the giver said the vibrations were a bit off putting for her but not wholly unpleasant!  I, as the receiver was very impressed, a shallow blowjob felt like an intense deep throat blowjob, amazingly!

Using the vibrator during intercourse is slightly awkward trying to keep the flexible wings around the base of the penis and being able to thrust in and out at the same time.  My partner said it felt amazing as it effectively turned my shaft into a vibrator, but the problem I have found is it is almost too good and really reduces the length of time intercourse lasted!

As the Manta is 100% waterproof, cleaning up is really easy and a wash with warm soapy water, spritzed with sex toy cleaner and drip dried will keep this sex toy going for a long time.  The box it came in is a great place to keep it safe and will fit in your bedside cabinet no problem.  The only thing I have noticed about the silicone material used is that after washing, it attracts fluff like there’s no tomorrow, so best off giving it a rinse before use (as you should anyway!)

I have to give the Fun Factory Manta Vibrating Penis Stroker 10 out of 10 as it is such a well made sex toy and delivers outstanding orgasms, probably the best I have ever had from a toy, bravo Fun Factory, bravo!  Anyway, I better go and see if it’s finished charging yet…
