I was absolutely delighted when Cara sent me the ElectraStim Silicone Noir Rocker Butt Plug to review. It is a sex toy that really flicks my switch. It allows you to have even more fun when playing with a butt plug.

I was sent this silicone e-stim butt plug to review in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Anyone who has visited my site and read my reviews will know that I am a huge fan of e-stim or electrosex. This is a masturbation technique where you use electricity on your genitals to induce pleasure or indeed pain if that is your thing.

I have a diverse collection of control boxes and electrodes as I adore this style of play. I regularly use them and often find myself going through batteries like no-one’s business. I was keen to see how this ElectraStim Silicone Noir Rocker Butt Plug would compare to the metal ones that I already have.

So, it was with an open mind, a bottle of lube and some spare batteries that I embarked on reviewing this lovely looking butt plug from Electrastim.

The ElectraStim Silicone Noir Rocker Butt Plug is the fourth Electrastim product that I have reviewed and I really like their kit for its build quality and capabilities. I decided to use my EM-60E entry-level control box for this review. In order to get the most from this product, you will need an e-stim control box and a cable with 2mm plugs.

The ElectraStim Silicone Noir Rocker Butt Plug arrives securely packed in white foam inside a very nice looking retail display box. This box carries a lot of product information on the reverse. The packaging ensures that your butt plug arrives in pristine condition no matter what the postman does to it.

This style of packaging and attention to detail is common across the Elctrastim range of products. It always pleases me when a company put effort into its packaging and Electrastim do an excellent job with theirs.

As soon as I removed the ElectraStim Silicone Noir Rocker Butt Plug from the packaging I was impressed. It’s a nice hefty butt plug and the finish on it is great. The blend of 100% body safe silicone used is draggy and it picks up lint faster than you can clean it off again. You can see what I mean in the pics.

The ElectraStim Silicone Noir Rocker Butt Plug features a nice and wide base so you needn’t worry about an embarrassing trip to A&E. The base is not too wide and so this plug is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. It nestles between your butt cheeks nicely.

The base has a curve to it to follow the contour of your body and I guess that’s how it got its name. This curve means that you can rock yourself whilst wearing it and it will apply pressure to you in different places as you do so. You can deliver some very nice sensations just by using it this way.

Electrastim has designed what they call the “Stealth Cable System” which all sounds a bit dramatic. In reality, it’s a neat cutaway in the base of the plug that allows you to fit the plugs horizontally. This instantly takes care of the problem of damaging your plugs when sitting down and it is a neat and tidy solution. Electrastim should be proud of this idea, I don’t know why it isn’t used more often.

That’s enough about the base, it is the other end that delivers the fun. The ElectraStim Silicone Noir Rocker Butt Plug has ten grooves around its sides and these give it a look not dissimilar to a juicer. These grooves give it a bit of texture that feels great if you twist it as you fit it. You do get a nice pop sensation when you insert it and I love that feeling.

The end of the plug is nicely rounded and it has a gentle taper to its sides. I reviewed the medium; the ElectraStim Silicone Noir Rocker Butt Plug comes in three sizes:

Small – 4.1″/10.5cm insertable length x 3.7″/9.4cm circumference at the widest point (1.2″/3cm diameter).
Medium – 4.5″/11.5cm insertable length x 4.9″/12.5cm circumference at the widest point (1.6″/4cm diameter).
Large – 5.1″13cm insertable length x 6.2″/15.7cm circumference at the widest point (2″/5cm diameter).

Now, whenever I get a new e-stim electrode I always hold it in my hand the first time that I use it. That way I can gauge how effectively it conducts the electrical pulses from the control box. It also gives me an indication as to how the controls will feel on the control box.

This is a great way to get to know how intense a new electrode is without inserting it. It also prevents you from cranking up the power too quickly when you first use it. This way you won’t need to enlist the help of someone to peel you off the ceiling after you dig your fingernails into it.

I was surprised as to how strong the pulses were through the silicone. I don’t know why but I had assumed that it would act as a sort of insulator but it doesn’t. In hindsight, it was a silly assumption as this is probably the same materials that are used in their cock rings and that conducts very well.

The current passes through the silicone very efficiently. This means great sensations and you will be able to use it on a lower power setting meaning longer battery life too.

So how did the ElectraStim Silicone Noir Rocker Butt Plug feel in use?

Inserting it is the first bit of fun. Assemble the cable to the ElectraStim Silicone Noir Rocker Butt Plug and then plug it into your control box before lubing up. I recommend using a good water-based lube or preferably a water-based electrical gel. These lubes are formulated with the right salt levels to give good conductivity as well as acting as a lube.

Lube yourself up as well as the butt plug and remember not to switch your control box on until after insertion of the butt plug. If you do switch it on first then you can look forward to a nice shock as it is inserted. Trust me on this one as I have learnt this lesson the hard way.

Applying gentle pressure soon has you dilating and it sliding inside. I found that twisting it as you insert it feels fantastic due to those grooves. The medium is pretty much at my limit for anal toys and as such, it leaves me feeling very stretched and full. It’s a feeling I love.

Switching the EM-60E control box on I then started to increase the power levels until I got comfortable. The ElectraStim Silicone Noir Rocker Butt Plug delivers deep and strong sensations and the contractions caused feel very, very good.

It almost feels like a good rogering and I had no problems edging myself with the controls to the first of many orgasms with the ElectraStim Silicone Noir Rocker Butt Plug. Alternatively, you can use it on a low power setting for tingling stimulation.

I was surprised that it would be as good as my metal electrodes, but it is. A bonus is that you don’t get that cold chill feeling with this silicone butt plug when you insert it. It is a very capable butt plug that I am happy to say really provides strong stimulation.

As the ElectraStim Silicone Noir Rocker Butt Plug is made from 100% body safe silicone cleaning is very easy. Simply wash with warm soapy water trying to be careful not to get water in the sockets. Then clean in a good quality anti-bacterial sex toy cleaner and allow to dry thoroughly before storing ready for your next play session.

I have also used this as a vaginal bi-polar electrode and it functions very well in this task. It has a tendency to try to work its way out of you though so it needs holding in place.

The contractions caused by it really does feel as though I am being ‘ghost-fucked’. It’s a hard sensation to describe but it does feel like a good hard fucking no matter where your legs are.

To summarise, this is a great butt plug as well as a superb bi-polar e-stim electrode. It’s body safe and delivers great stimulation. The material is an excellent conductor and its shape makes it easy to insert and also fun to twist. The base is comfortable and fun to rock or squirm around on with it fitted.
