I have a very odd relationship with my Doxy Number 3. I cannot make my mind up about it for the life of me. This is why I have not written a review for it. I want to wait until I have made my mind up for sure. When the Doxy 3 Rabbit Vibrator Attachment appeared on October’s Pleasure Panel round, I put myself forward.

For a while now I have been thinking of getting an attachment for my Doxy Number 3 in the hope that it will enable me to enjoy it more and perhaps spread out the vibrations. My favourite type of toy is a rabbit vibrator as I get off on clitoral stimulation but need something to clench hold of at the same time. While I can use a dildo with the Doxy Number 3 traditional head, I often find the Doxy far too powerful and end up becoming desensitised or squirming away.
Note: I would like to make it clear that I believe it to be my health issues and medication that have prevented me from fully enjoying the Doxy Number 3 properly. I have not written a review for it yet as I do not feel I can provide an accurate one. However, I am still able to enjoy other sex toys, particularly rabbit toys, and therefore feel confident in writing reviews for them.
I hoped the Doxy 3 Rabbit Vibrator Attachment would erase any uncertainty about the wand. I honestly did not know what to expect though. I kept an open mind and as always, the item arrived extremely fast, safely and discreetly.
One thing was certain. The attachment was enormous! The Doxy 3 Rabbit Vibrator Attachment came packaged in a cardboard box with a clear plastic window, revealing the toy inside. A plastic insert held the attachment in place.
There was a glaringly obvious spelling mistake on the front of the box which made me cringe. I often think I should take up proofreading as I always seem to notice these things. I did not spot any others though.
The back of the box listed a few important points about the attachment, such as it being: made of quality silicone, odourless, non-porous and hypoallergenic. The packaging was actually very simple which was quite refreshing. The small print gave details on how to contact the company and a few safety tips such as not using on inflamed skin. Interestingly, the contact address was British. I had put the obvious spelling mistake down to English not being a first language but perhaps it was merely negligence.
To remove the traditional head of the Doxy Number 3 you simply unscrew it. To attach the Doxy 3 Rabbit Vibrator Attachment, you just screw it on. I tried my best to line the ‘rabbit ears’ up with the controls for ease of use. It looked pretty intimidating once it was put together ready and waiting. The Doxy Number 3 is smaller than other Doxy wands, but still pretty big. The attachment made it humongous!
Switching the wand on, I stuck with my usual lowest constant speed setting. The Doxy 3 Rabbit Vibrator Attachment was harder to insert than I had anticipated so I was glad I had applied some water-based lubricant.
Originally I thought the silicone was fairly firm but when trying to insert it I realised it was a lot floppier than I had realised. If I had been more aroused I may have enjoyed the roughness of insertion but on this try I just found it uncomfortable. The vibrations of the Doxy Number 3 were still very powerful with the attachment and were not dulled too much.
However, it quickly became apparent that there was no way I was going to be able to hold the wand for long whilst using this part. I obtained pins and needles in my hand and it started to go numb very, very quickly. This confused me and I decided to swap back to the traditional Doxy head to see if the same thing happened (I couldn’t recall ever getting a numb hand from the Doxy but I wanted to check).
My hand was absolutely fine using the traditional Doxy head but on re-attaching the Doxy 3 Rabbit Vibrator Attachment and attempting to use it, my hand went numb again. This meant I was not able to use it for more than a few minutes and most of that time I was distracted by the sensations (or lack of) in my hand. Sure, it was pleasurable enough at first, but I was unable to continue using it.
Unfortunately, I doubt I will use it often as overall, I did not find it a pleasant experience.
Sadly, I have to give the Doxy 3 Rabbit Vibrator Attachment a 6/10. The simple spelling mistake irked me and it had to lose a couple of marks for making my hand go numb. It wouldn’t have been such a problem if it was a gradual loss of feeling, but it occurred almost instantly, rendering the toy pretty useless for me.
