My review of the System JO For Him H2O Gel Water Based Personal Lubricant.
All personal lubes set out to achieve the same function: To reduce friction during toy to skin or skin to skin contact, allowing the activity to be more pleasurable and possibly safer. Depending on the specific demands placed on the lubricant, it will perform differently in a given situation, so its important to appraise in varying scenarios to give a fair opinion. I’ve divided testing into four areas for clarity.

Testing
Anal penetration with a toy: System JO For Him H2O Gel Water Based Personal Lubricant performs really well when used with toys. We tried it with a smooth PVC dildo and silicone butt plug. It adheres well to the surface of the toy, rather than slipping around like some water-based toys do and in fact, I’d go so far to say that this is what makes this lube stand above others in a similar price bracket. In use, the lube doesn’t dry out easily and doesn’t go sticky either.- Anal penetration with fingers or cock: As with the toy testing, the lube performed well during anal sex and we didn’t have to re-apply more lube that often. The lube seemed to sit on top of the skin, rather than running off it or drying out.
- Vaginal penetration with a toy: Not all lubes good at providing anal lubrication are any good for vaginal play, but the System JO For Him H2O Gel Water Based Personal Lubrican worked really well. My wife reported no irritation or stinging which can happen when using lubes designed for anal play, so this makes for a good all-rounder.
- Vaginal penetration with a fingers or cock: As you’ve probably guessed already, this lube worked really well for standard sex. A small baked-bean sized drop was all that was needed to stop the sometimes irritating chafing that can occur!
Overall
We really liked the System JO For Him H2O Gel Water Based Personal Lubricant and would describe it as a good all-rounder. The gel looks similar to KY, but lasts much longer, has better lubrication qualities and doesn’t dry out easily. We also liked the lid/ cap which unscrewed for cleaning, as these things sometimes need. For those in to more extreme penetration, this isn’t the lube for you as it’s too thin, but it’s brilliant for daily bedroom fun.
