A red and black box entered my life, looking very professional and, I must admit, quite impressive. The System JO Clitoris Stimulating Gel (Wild) was clear, unscented and slightly oily. I thought I was off to a good start! No unpleasant smell to put me off, no strange colour that would make me question the ingredients, it seemed like a good start.

This gel says to “wait three to five minutes” before anything would happen. Fair enough, I thought. I waited. And I waited. I began to get bored after the three minute mark but I persisted in my solo play.
At the four minute mark I had to reapply as it dried out, leaving a slightly crusty, icky feeling. I mixed another pea sized amount with some water based lubricant, as I didn’t want to use too much and I also didn’t want that horrible dried out feeling on my lady parts, it’s not exactly conducive to feeling horn-tastic.
Another few minutes, still nothing. Not a tingle, no sudden rise in sensation, no warmth, nothing. I was quite frustrated by this point, I went to the bathroom to rinse myself off. I felt anything but wild at this point.
Undeterred, I got my partner involved. Maybe I would see the benefits of this gel with a different stimuli. My hubby read the packaging, thinking maybe I had missed something. The packaging states that this gel is safe with condoms, so we’re all good there. No hidden nasties in this gel either, so surely we should be onto a winner? We played and I waited, hoping for something to happen so I could write about this great product.
Well, it disappointed me yet again. Zip, zilch, nada. I have heard from others that this gel is amazing, how have I not enjoyed it? I wish I could say why it hasn’t worked for me. I truly wanted to enjoy it, but unfortunately it doesn’t do a thing for me. 🙁
