Swan Vibes Princess Rabbit Vibrator Review

By Pleasure Panel reviewer Erika Lynae

I am very excited to be a part of the Cara Sutra Pleasure Panel, and for this first review I was kindly sent the Swan Vibes Princess Rabbit Vibrator. This is a small rabbit vibrator with an interesting curvy shape and separately-controlled motors.

I’m usually not fussed about sex toy packaging, but I was surprisingly impressed by the box the Swan Vibes Princess Rabbit arrived in. Not only is it minimal and elegant, but it’s also practical. With its magnetic closure, sturdy construction, and lack of restrictive foam inserts or plastic clamshells, it’s a box that (if I didn’t already have a dedicated toy chest) I could easily see storing the Princess in permanently. It’s got plenty of extra room for the charging cord, manual, and maybe even another small toy or bottle of lube. The Princess also comes with a branded storage bag for those who prefer that, though the material feels cheaper than most others I’ve seen.

I also love that the charging cord comes with a Swan sticker label already on it. It’s easy to remove if you don’t want it there, but as someone with a sizeable vibrator collection who has to individually label each charger with masking tape to keep track of them all, my life would be just a little bit easier if every company did this.

Despite Swan’s claims that their vibrators are “seamless,” there is an obvious vertical seam going around the entire perimeter of this toy. It’s noticeable to eyes and fingertips, but thankfully not to my clit or vagina. There are also a bunch of raised symbols on the back of the handle that I thought would be annoying but haven’t affected my use at all.

The Swan Vibes Princess Rabbit has two buttons, one for controlling the internal arm and one for controlling the clitoral arm. I love that the two motors are controlled individually. My body really likes strong internal vibration paired with weaker clitoral vibration, which is the opposite of how most rabbit vibes tend to work. Having a dedicated button for each motor makes getting the exact settings I want easy. What this toy does not have are any vibration patterns, but I almost never use the pattern settings on vibrators, so that isn’t a bother for me.

In terms of vibration style, the internal arm is right on the edge of buzzy and rumbly, while the clit arm sits more firmly on the buzzy end. I haven’t had any issue with this toy itching or numbing me the way some super buzzy toys can, but folks who know they need real rumble to get off might want to skip this one. Power-wise, I’d rate this toy as medium strength. It’s not going to wow a Power Queen, but I imagine it’d be enough for most people. It’s plenty strong enough for me.

Obviously the most important thing to consider when choosing a rabbit vibrator is how well it’s going to fit your body. Whether or not it works for mine seems to depend on where I am in my menstrual/ovulation cycle and how far I can comfortably insert the internal arm. Despite being fairly short for a G-spotting vibe at only 4.25” insertable, the placement and shape of the shaft’s bulges can make for finicky insertion, and it has to be inserted all the way to the base for me to have any hope of taking advantage of the clit arm. The first couple of times I used this toy it didn’t come anywhere close to hitting the right spot. It was so bad that I actually ended up taking the toy out of me and using the internal arm on my clit to get off. (Which did work well enough, but it defeats the purpose of it being a rabbit.)

As I’ve tested this toy over time there have been days when both of the arms hit where they’re supposed to and everything is rainbows. But those days are few and far between, and a toy I can’t rely on to work for me consistently is not a toy I’m going to be reaching for often.

Overall, the Swan Vibes Princess Rabbit is a toy that looks great on paper (waterproof! separately-controlled motors! rechargeable!), but some minor issues with shape add up to make a toy that just doesn’t do it for me. With a different internal arm I might have loved it, but as it is this is a rabbit that will probably be forgotten in the back of my vibrator drawer.

5/10
