Rocks Off are a huge name in the sex toy industry, known for their high quality products and modern designs. I have been looking for a good remote control love egg style toy so the Rocks Off Lust Linx caught my eye. I was really drawn to the eye catching quirky ball and chain design, and the fact that it boasts a 10m radius for the remote control means I could use it out and about for added fun!
When the product arrived my first impressions were good. The packaging was stylish, the product looked very well made and I couldn’t wait to get started!
Charging Up
The Rocks Off Lust Linx Ball And Chain Remote Control Love Egg is USB rechargeable which is my preferred choice over battery operated toys. It comes with its own charging cable. Here is where I encountered my first problem! The Rocks Off Lust Linx Ball And Chain Remote Control Love Egg is waterproof and has a small hole in the ball in which you plug the charger.
The problem is you almost cannot physically see the hole, so you have to poke around a bit until the peg slips in! I found this tricky as it felt though it would be so easy to accidentally damage the charger or the toy by forcing it in the wrong place as it requires a fair amount of force to insert the first time you use it.
Once both of the parts are fully charged then you are good to go!
During Use
Only upon closer inspection of the Rocks Off Lust Linx did I realise just how much of a challenge this was going to be to enjoy. The ball is quite large and perfectly round. No tapered end or traditional slender egg shape. Knowing the toy was made of silicone I made sure to use plenty of water based lube to help ease the ball in. I made sure that the ball was switched on and then began to push it in. This was actually a lot more painful than I expected it to be! It felt as though my vaginal entrance was being stretched open and began to sting.
Before I knew it the ball had “popped” in. The stinging sensation stopped, but I still didn’t feel fully comfortable. I had to clench my kegels and push the ball with my finger until it felt in a more comfortable position. Once in place I began the vibrations.
Sadly, the vibrations weren’t as strong or deep as I was expecting. A high pitched buzzing could barely be felt inside me. It could just be that the shape and size didn’t allow the pleasure to be felt fully.
Retrieval
After a while I decided that maybe it would be best to give up and come back to the Rocks Off Lust Linx Ball And Chain Remote Control Love Egg another day. I stopped the vibes and prepared to remove the toy. It has a chain link designed silicone string for easy removal. I found that I had to pull the chain at the same time I used my vaginal muscles to push out the toy. This was even more difficult and painful than insertion! It felt as though I was about to split in half, especially as the widest part of the toy came out. Even after the toy was removed I still felt discomfort and soreness and this lasted for at least half an hour after play.
It’s fair to say that other than for testing the Rocks Off Lust Linx out, it hasn’t been used for actual play and it is unlikely to ever be used in that way 🙁 . For that I’m going to have to give this product a 1/10.

Who would I recommend this toy to?
Although I didn’t like the Rocks Off Lust Linx Ball And Chain Remote Control Love Egg, I am sure it would suit someone who has experience with larger toys, especially those without a tapered edge. There were no problems with the controller being able to operate the ball once it was in use which I know some other toys struggle with.
